With all the talk about Thor 2 and Iron Man 3, I decided to post an article about which "Avenger" villains deserve to be on the big screen. There's only one villain for each Avenger, and no, Black Widow and HawkEye don't count.
1. Iron Man/Mandarin
Yes, I decided to include the Mandarin. At first I felt I should try someone else, but Mandarin won out in the end. It would be interesting to see his origin on the big screen, encountering one of the Dragon/Aliens pods, and finding the 10 rings. But, in the first movie, there was only one ring. Maybe Mandarin let that camp use it for defense, or maybe their trying to uncover the rings, like in Iron Man: Armored Adventures. I have no clue, but Mandarin would be cool to see on the big screen no doubt. Having him use all 10 rings at once at the end would be cool too.
2. Captain America/Baron Zemo
So, why did I decide on Baron Zemo? Because he can match the Captain in combat. He can get up close and personal. He's not an assassin, he's not a guy staying out of the battlefield. He is a warrior, and Cap can understand that. He can give us some real action scenes, with Cap using his shield more as a shield than a sword. I loved listening to his diary in the Captain America video game, and he had a tragic backstory. I want him to appear in a sequel more than Winter Soldier even. And his costume, even with all that pink, is still pretty cool.
3. Hulk/The Leader
The Leader would be perfect in a Hulk film, making Banner most important, and not Hulk. The Leader could even use his plan in Avengers:Earth's Mightiest Heroes, I don't care! But he shouldn't have a tall head like in the early comics featuring him. He should look more like this:
He would have to look cool, act full of himself, and be really, REALLY smart if he would ever succeed. otherwise he might turn out like Hector Hammond.
4. Thor/Enchantress
She would be great in a Thor movie. To me Thor should have had more time with Lady Sif. Maybe he will in a sequel, I would like some more of Asgard in Thor 2. But, Enchantress would be great if she tried to kill Jane Foster and Sif so she can have Thor. And perhaps Loki wants her too? I think a movie with her in it would be really cool for those reasons. And lets not forget that Thor has another lover. I think you know her.
