Well its about freaking time. After the horror of Spider-man 3 and the constant war between #4, they finally said to scrap the whole thing and retool as a rebooted series. I'm all for this. As with my article about saving spider-man I left out the film series because well, they weren't to me what the character represents. The main focus on all 3 movies was Peter still dealing with uncle Ben's death and how its all his fault. 2 changed it up a bit by having him no longer being spider-man and that was okay, but when you hear the words Spider-man, do you think of nerdy romance comedy with a side of spider-man. We see more peter moping about MJ don't like me, my best friend is drunk, and my aunt is poor instead of spider-man saving the day and being a hero. This news really has the entire site with war with each other....like the registration act has done also.lol. I'm for it because I want to see the spider-man from the cartoon; fun, energetic, and a teenager. The problem with the Raimi-verse was that they set him in a more college age rather than a high school age. So this new universe we may be getting an Ultimate spider-man. I suggest Jon Turtletaub to direct the new series. He makes fun and entertaining movies and everything he's been doing has made lots and lots of cash. As for the villains, Keep the heavy hitters for later installments. Start off small and build up to Green Goblin or Venom. Also this means we may get the thunderbolts if the universes combine and eventually more awesome movies. You gotta take the good and take the bad with all the news we get from whatever source
