Batman fancast

Batman fancast

This is not a fancast for the reboot and this is my second attempt at a B-Man fancast.

So far, I've only done fancasts for 3 DC heroes: Batman (that one failed miserably), Aquaman (most liked it) and The Flash (people liked it, I have it's sequel up). Here is my redo for Batman. I'm only keeping a character or two from the previous fancast, No not Efron, I would put up the link for my previous Batman fancast but I didn't want to torture you guys. Also, this IS a fancast which means even actors who have no interest in the roles can still be cast in fanfic. Here is the cast.

Bradley Cooper as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Bradely Cooper has proven himself as a dramatic actor as well has having a humorous side, not to mention he has proven he can do action movies. I've liked him in all of his roles, most particularly, Limitless. I think he can pull off the playboy billionaire aspect of Bruce Wayne. Could he play Batman? I'm not sure about changing his voice, but I think he could pull it off. The best way I can put it, he can't copy Christian Bale and have that big of an impact but I really liked Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman and I think Cooper can truely be that good. But, not the best.

John Hurt as Alfred Pennyworth

John Hurt is an amazing actor. He's charming, funny and endearing. Qualities that Alfred must have and I think he could be a damn good Alfred.

Djimon Hounsou as Lucius Fox

He's a strong actor and I think he could be pretty good as Lucius Fox.

Olivia Wilde as Vicki Vale

She is a strong actress and not only looks but can act the part of Vicki Vale. Plus, I think her and Cooper could have a fun and real chemistry.

Ryan Gosling as Harvey Dent

I still say Gosling as Dent is perfect casting. I really like this choice.

William H. Macy as Comissioner Gordon

William H. Macy is a strong actor who I think has a Jim Gordon presence to him. I honestly think with his ability and his resume of films, I think he can do the character justice.

Sam Rockwell as Edward Nygma/The Riddler

Rockwell is a great actor and I think his role in The Green Mile proves he can play a bad guy (even though he wasn't the villain in the movie) and also his other notable roles prove he can play this role well.

Joe Manganiello as Bane

I think this might be my weakest choice on this fancast but, I think he is a good actor and it's pretty obvious that he is ripped. I think despite his race, he can pull off Bane well.

This is more less a fancast for my Batman trilogy plot/synopsis for the first movie. In the plot/synopsis I have Riddler have a plan known as "Project: Bane". My idea was that he wouldn't be a mindless monster like in Batman and Robin but the idea was he was once a feared man until he was weakened in battle and he hasn't had titan in him. The Riddler would be able to control Bane by rewarding him with the titan to complete his task to take out the Batman while also leaving riddles around everywhere for Batman to solve.

Damn what is with this obsession with Olivia Wilde. I know she's hot and all but she really isn't that good of an actress.

Not too bad, but my main beefs with this cast are your Batman and Dent picks.

Bradley's a good actor, but I can't see him as Bats, despite Limitless. My pick for a younger Batman is Alex O'Loughlin (from Hawaii Five-0), since he has the rugged good looks and dark gravitas for Bats, and Jim Caviezel for an older Batman, since he's essentially playing the Caped Crusader on Person of Interest (awesome show, BTW).

Ryan Gosling is too young and too much of a pretty boy for Dent, and I can't see him pulling off the psychotic Two-Face. He'd be better as a younger Barry Allen (the first Flash). I'd go with Liev Schreiber for Dent, because he can play both the charismatic Dent and the deranged Two-Face, and looks like how Tim Sale him in Batman: The Long Halloween.

But rest isn't too shabby. We have the same Alfred pick.

Brad Cooper is not a horrible choice for Bats but I definitely wouldn't hire him.

How much life does John Hurt have in him? Anywho he's a fine pick.

Djimon is a weird pick for Lucious not really sure whether its cool or not.

Love Olivia, beautiful actress, I almost feel like saying she deserves a better role, but hey its your cast.

Ides of March, I can dig Gosling as Harv, give me something more out of the box than Barry for the 10000000000000000000000000 time.

I really don't see why in the world people put William H. Macy as Gordo.

Love Rockwell as the Riddler, he works amazingly.

Manganiello seems to work better as Batman if you ask me. But again its your cast. And Bane is so hard to cast.

Decent cast.

I really like your Batman pick, same with Dent and Riddler. Only one I don't particulary like that much is Olivia Wilde. But still an awesome cast.

I agree with NightAvenger said, but even if it wasnt switched its still not too bad a cast. Bradley Cooper wld be great as the stuck up billionair part pf Bruce.

It's kinda fun that chose Ryan Gosling as the Riddler, since some people want him as the Bat himself.
