GOTHAM AIRPORT
Selina is waiting to board her flight.

Flight Attendant: "We are now boarding flight 23. The flight to Metropolis is now boarding."
Selina: "Here we go Selina."
She got up, and boarded the airplane. Bruce was there. He only watched.

FRIES' LAB
Batman has Fries in a chokehold, pinned against a wall. A pile of ashes lays in the spot Nora once did.

Batman: "You wanted him to come! You risked EVERYTHING! You risked Nora, yourself, me! And for what? NOTHING!"
Fries: "I-I wanted him to come. I-I underestimated him. His...abilities. The suit. I-I needed him. To work on. I...already...told you...why."
Batman: "Well it's over! Leave Gotham, stop this!"
Fries: "That...I cannot do. Lynns didn't have to do any of this. I'm going to kill him."
Batman: "You'd be no better than Lynns. Revenge made him do this to you!"
Fries: "Precisely! What goes around comes around Batman! You should know that by now. After all, Bane is one example. The Hood another. Let's discuss something...different. Th-the-the Cat?"
Batman tightened his grip. Fries gasped for air, and Batman tossed him to the other side of the room. His eyes became misty.
Fries: "She loved you. But she will never forgive you. I almost feel sorry for you."
Batman: "Go. Try and kill Lynns. You'll die. I won't care, and I'll stop Lynns myself."
Fries: "I'm...afraid I can't allow that Batman."
Fries opened a compartment in the wall, pushed the button underneath it, and the wall opened, revealing the suit. Fries went inside.
Fries: "You see, the only reason that Nora is...not with us...is because of you. You interfered. You made me lose focus!"
Fries started to cry.
Fries: "You are the reason Nora is DEAD! I don't want you to interfere anymore than you have. And I will make sure of that! Now Batman, let's see if you can put up a fight?"
(Fries now talks in the robotic voice.)
He blasted a stream of ice at Batman. He dodged, and threw a batarang at Fries. He grabbed it, and crushed the weapon.
Batman: "That was titanium."
Fries: "Why are you so surprised?"
Another blast of ice came at Batman, this time hitting his arm. His body flung back against the wall, stuck. He broke the ice, and narrowly avoided another blast. He grappled to a platform. Fries looked up at him, and smiled. He froze the walls supporting the platform, and walked through them, causing the platform to come crashing down, Batman on top. He jumped off, and landed on Fries. He grabbed a tube connected to the head container, and cut it with a batarang. Nitrogen blasted out, freezing what was left of the platform, and Batman's right leg. Fries threw Batman off his back, and blasted another stream of ice. There was considerably less, and it only froze Batman's forearm when it hit. He broke free, ducked under another blast, readied a batarang, placed a small device on it, and threw it at Fries. He caught it, but just as he was about to crush it...
BANG!
The small device exploded, leaving the other tube broken, and spitting out nitrogen. Fries' suit shut down, having run out of the element. It crashed to the floor. Fries was all but helpless to Batman's attacks. He took out another small device, and planted it on the torso of the suit.
Batman: "Bye."
He walked out of the lab.

AN UNNAMED PART OF GOTHAM
Firefly is laughing.

Firefly: "Oh, ho, ho! Batman walked right into that! And Fries! Oh, man, did he cry! And how he forgot all about me and tried to kill Batman! And how he freaked out, and slammed Batman's head through the wall! But what now? It's-it's all done. My revenge. Well, I burned down my companies building. Robberies? No. No, not that. I'll kill Batman! Yeah! And Fries! And the brat! And Catwoman! I'll kill them all! Heh. Heh heh. HA! Oh, this will be good."

THE BATCAVE
Bruce and Dick are sitting, talking. Alfred is with them.

Dick: "Look Bruce, who DIDN'T see this coming?"
Bruce: "Me, apparently."
Alfred: "Master Bruce, do not blame yourself for Miss Kyle's departure. I have a feeling that sooner or later, Master Dick will have a breakdown too."
Dick: "Mmm, yes. Well, any news on Fries?"
Bruce: "Don't try to get my mind off it, you'll fail. And yes. I fought with him today. I found his suit's weakness. I doubt that it'll have the same when I'm forced to fight him again."
Alfred: "What? You have to fight him again? I saw the battle, it wasn't good."
Bruce: "I'll outsmart him. I did this time, I'll do it again. Simple."
Alfred: "Yes, as if anything is EVER simple."
Bruce: "Yep, simple."
Dick: "Are you making bad jokes to ease the pain? Don't kid yourself."
Bruce: "What?"
Dick: "I went through a malicious break-up in the seventh grade. The dame's name was Cassandra Caine."
Bruce: "Did you just call her a dame? And a...malicious break up?"
Dick: "Yeah, exactly what you're going through. So, she left me. Simple as that. We couldn't maintain a long-distance relationship. Y'know, with my circus travels. It was two weeks before I met you. If she could see me now..."
Bruce just looks at Dick with a blank expression on his face.
Dick: "Heh. But you can bet that I'll get Barbara Gordon. Top of her class. Straight A+s. The Commissioner's daughter. Yep, Barbara and I will be the perfect couple."
Bruce: "Are you making bad jokes? Don't kid yourself."
Dick: "I hate you so much right now."
Bruce: "I bet you do. Oh no. Bat-signal's on, gotta go."
Dick: "Can I come and see the almighty Bat-signal?"
Bruce: "No. No not tonight Dick. Stay here. This is bad."

THE ROOFTOP OF THE GCPD BUILDING
Gordon is waiting for Batman. He checks his watch, and turns the signal off.

Batman: "Leaving early?"
Gordon: "What the-? Oh, it's you. How long have you been here?"
Batman: "Ten minutes. How's Barbara?"
Gordon: "She's fine, but this one kid, Dick Grayson I think, he keeps following her. I called you here because of, well, do you know about Harvey-"
Batman: "Bullok, yes. He's the new detective. Wanted to shut me down."
Gordon: "Right. He found dirt on you."
Batman: "What? Oh, wait."
Gordon: "A warehouse, Sal Maroni, two nights ago. Maroni told us what happened. That one of you three stopped his little operation. That is of course, by throwing him into another car on the highway, and killing his associate."
Batman: "I wasn't the one, but Catwoman was the one that hurt them."
Gordon: "They have evidence that you did it. Smoke pellet casings, batarangs, eyewitnesses."
Batman: "I know. They won't catch me. Don't tell anyone about this, and act like they were right all along. Let them hunt me down. They won't catch me."
Gordon: "Bullok knows he's doing the wrong thing, but for the right reasons. Oh, and Batman, who's this Firefly guy?"
Batman: "Garfield Lynns. He's did it to hurt Victor Fries. Fries has a suit more powerful, but less mobile than Lynns'. Fries intends to kill Lynns. I'll contact you when I try to stop them. You don't have to help, but if you do-"
Gordon: "I know. Be careful."
Batman: "Exactly."
He jumped off the roof, and landed in the Batmobile. He drove away.

THE WAREHOUSE
Bullok is finding evidence against Batman.

Bullok: "Oh look, a staff incrusted with an 'R'. The kids. Next to another staff, covered in blood. And there's the man himself! Move this truck! NOW!"
Another detective came over and got in the truck. He backed it up, and walked out.
Detective: "Uh, Harvey? Did you ever think Batman was the good guy?"
Bullok: "Yeah, for a little while. Then I saw this."
The man couldn't even be recognized. The only truly recognizable thing was his bloody smile. Bullok took some of the blood. He gave it to the other detective.
Bullok: "Get this to a hospital, and have it analyzed. Now!"
Detective: "Okay Harvey. I'll go."
Bullok: "You better. Oh man, I can't wait to put Batman in jail!"
Detective: "-Damn you Harvey. Batman's the good guy.-"
Bullok: "Course 'e is!"

THE BATCAVE

Dick: "So, what happened?"
Batman: "You FOLLOW Barbara?"
Dick: "Yes, I do. I only wish to talk to her, but, like most girls her age, she thinks that I am, and I quote, a 'creepy stalker'."
Batman: "Yeah. Well, Bullok has some evidence against us. This is why I didn't like Selina killing that man. She could have killed him. She didn't make the vow I did not to kill."
Dick: "Honestly?"
Batman: "Fine, I wouldn't have been as mad. But Bullok wants Batman gone. You too. He's got enough evidence to prove that we killed someone. Murder. He gets that stuff proven. We're going to have to play it even safer."
Dick: "But can't we just, y'know, force Maroni not to press charges, and Bullok not to show the evidence."
Batman: "That would make everything worse. Bullok would have that much more against us."
Dick: "Oh. Right. Sorry."
Batman: "Don't be. Now get to your room. Go to bed. We have a long day ahead of us. Maybe even a long week. A long month. A long 'who knows how long' ahead of us."
Dick: "Why? Mr. Freeze and Firefly having an unscheduled playdate?"
Batman: "Yep. Now go."
Dick: "Yeah, bye."
The elevator door closed, and Dick was going up into Wayne Manor, leaving Bruce alone in the Batcave.

And that's the end of Part 6! The next part is coming next week, don't miss it! And don't forget to vote on my next work! Post your choice in the comments! This time, I'll include a little background info on the two crossovers!

1: The Spider-Man Saga: 1 vote

2: The Superman Saga: 0 votes

3: The X-Men Trilogy: 1 vote

4: A Marvel/DC Crossover, entitled 'The Final Beginning': 0 votes
and
5: A Lord of the Rings/Star Wars Crossover: 0 votes

Info on The Final Beginning:

The story itself is an apocalypse story, where Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom meet each other when using inter-dimensional portals. They work together, recruiting all the villains they can, and sending them to the other universe. Small teams of superheroes survive, while trying to find out what happened, and how to get to Doom/Luthor. The title means exactly that, the Apocalypse, it's the final beginning, the beginning of the end. It also has nothing to do with my other articles.

Info on LotR/Star Wars Crossover (Currently untitled)

The Star Wars universe is at the point where the Rebellion is on Endor, but the Death Star hasn't been destroyed. The LotR universe is a little messed up. Sauron has returned to power, in his former body, through the Ring. Saurumon and the Witch-King are also alive. Of course, Frodo destroyed the Ring after somehow, but Gollum is still alive. Now, Sauron discovered a way to travel across dimensions. Saurumon opens a portal, Sauron, The Witch-King, and his army pass through into the Star Wars universe. Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and in secret, Gollum, pass through. Sauron seeks to take over the Star Wars universe, and Palpatine, Vader, and the Empire battles them, as the Fellowship that passes through sides with the Rebellion. The rest is with me.

So that's it. No more in this article. None. Don't forget to comment.

Until next time,
