Overambitious

There’s no doubt that when it comes to fan casting, anything outside of a single film would be considered ambitious thinking. Doing a proposed 12 film Batman series is absolutely insane. So with that in mind I decided ‘why not?’ This is fancasting and it’s meant to be more fantasy than anything. There would never be a 12 Batman Film series, the length of time it would take to make alone would be roughly 20 or more years, and this cast includes a lot of characters that wouldn’t appear till movie 4,5,6, or 7. That being said, if the conditions where right and I could develop a long standing Batman film series this is what I would do with it, with the people I’d want to work on it. This is bigger than I really intended but I decided to have some fun with it.

So with all that in mind I present my BATMAN film series.

The Cast & Crew

Composer:A film score (also sometimes called film music, background music, or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.

Tyler Bates [Notable Works: John Wick {Franchise}, Deadpool 2, Marvel’s The Punisher]: His music is not only tonally unique but transformative. He has done fantastic work around the action genre and has given heartfelt themes as well as adrenaline filled suites that make him a prime candidate for a project like Batman. There’s no doubt his score for Batman would be unique and fitting of a Dark Detective.

Screenwriter: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.

Michael Green [Notable Works: Blade Runner 2049, Murder on the Orient Express, Logan]: He’s written some of my absolute favorite films, mixing genres of action and thriller. There’s no doubt he would be the person who could put serious mystery in a Batman movie series. His work is amazing and heartwrenching. There’s no doubt he could give us a fantastic Batman story that uses Gotham as the character it’s meant to be and uses Batman as the world’s greatest detective.

Director: A film director is a person who directs the making of a film. Generally, a film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.

Chad Stahelski [Notable Works: John Wick {Franchise}]: Three spectacular action packed films under his belt, Stahelski has shown the ability to do a lot with a limited Budget, showcasing locations and environments that look breathtaking. His vision not only for Gotham but Batman as well would be unique dynamic and would be a mixture of mystery and action. If anyone could deliver on a unique and definitive Batman experience apart from what has been show, there’s no doubt it’s Stahelski.

Batman/Bruce Wayne [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 20’s]: The Billionaire Playboy who’s wealth and status disguises his darker nature as a vigilante who aims to clean up the streets of Gotham. Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child leads him to train himself to physical and intellectual perfection and don a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime.

Sam Claflin [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 32, Notable Works: The Hunger Games {Franchise}, Me Before You, The Corrupted]: A wonderful actor, who I feel has the perfect look and presence to play Bruce Wayne and with surprising, energetic, and ever dark performances in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as well as the more recent The Corrupted, Sam has shown that he can physically and emotionally transform into the Batman and could do something absolutely wonderful with the role.

Dick Grayson/Robin [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 14]: Son of John and Mary Grayson, he watched his parents die at Haley Circus, Taken in by Bruce Wayne and his fiancee Silver St. Cloud. He quickly learns the truth behind Bruce’s nightlife as Batman, as he takes Dick under his wing to turn him into a detective and keep him from following a tragic and self destructive lifestyle like Bruce. This leads to Dick Grayson evolving into Nightwing.

Jaeden Martell [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 16, Notable Works: Book of Henry, IT, Low Tide]: Jaeden’s work is fantastic. He’s got a brave energy to him and a sense of leadership that he’s displayed in role like Bill Denbrough that makes him a perfect choice for Dick Grayson. This is the kid you could imagine growing up to be replacement Batman would want, as well as being his own person like Nightwing. He’s fantastic and could be the perfect Dick Grayson.

Jason Todd/Robin [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 17]: A kid who witness Black Mask murder his father, he gets embroiled in a large Mafia War and in the process becomes the new Robin. After his death at the hands of the Joker, Jason dons a new Persona… The Red Hood.

Chandler Riggs [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 19, Notable Works: Get Low, The Wronged Man, The Walking Dead]: With his performance as Carl Grimes he showed fantastic range but the best that he got to show was a character with real wounds and real rage and develop it. If something is going to be done to tell the Jason Todd story right, Chandler is really the only actor that can do it right. He would be fantastic to take the character and bring something inherently human to his rage.

Tim Drake/Robin [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 20’s]: A police cadet who lives in the slums of Gotham. After Batman’s defeat at the hands of Bane he is able to discover the dark knight’s secret Identity. With the revelation he attempts to convince Bruce to return to the fight, taking the mantle of Robin, hoping to inspire Batman.

Ty Simpkins [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 17, Notable Works: Iron Man 3, Jurassic World, The Nice Guys]: Ty has really shown some talent as an actor. Having put himself in such a grand spotlight with a role in Iron Man 3, he hasn’t slowed down and has been careful picking projects. He’s got great range and does a fantastic job with what material he gets. There’s no doubt that he could be fantastic as Tim Drake and could help redefine the character in a way the character hasn’t seen.

Alfred Pennyworth [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 50’s]: Bruce’s trusted butler, a fromer M.I. 6 Agent. He’s served with Bruce since he was born and has taken care of him ever since. Nursing him through his trials as Batman, Alfred is the one constant in his life.

Cary Elwes [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 56, Notable Works: The Princess Bride, Saw, Stranger Things]: There’s no loss of charm nor whit with an actor like Cary Elwes. Casting a younger Alfred that is supposed to be as cheeky and charming as the comic book character there’s really no one else I can really imagine being able to not only do it, but do it in a way that makes the character properly stand out and gain admiration.

Lucius Fox [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 50’s]: Board of Directors for Wayne Enterprises and close Friend to Bruce. His previous work as an engineer and his time in applied sciences made him Bruce’s go to figure for an armorer. He takes a great deal of pride in his work with Bruce and aims to watch over him in a role of a mentor or father figure.

Forest Whitaker [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 57, Notable Works: Ghost Dog, The Butler, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story]: A legendary actor who’s work stands out as a iconic. There’s few actors who’s done as much as Whitaker has. He’s got the gravity and the character to play a role like Lucius and one up Morgan Freeman’s take on the role.

Vicki Vale [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 30’s]: Reporter for the Gotham Gazette, She has been tracking the sightings of Batman since the beginning, working alone on the theory the Batman was Billionaire Bruce Wayne. Seeing her chance in a date with Wayne that goes quickly out of control she dives into a deeper conspiracy that sees her aiding Batman and Robin against the Riddler, and questioning her own morals whether or not to expose the truth.

Mackenzie Davis [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 32, Notable Works: The Martian, Blade Runner 2049, Tully]: Mackenzie is a wonderful actress. She’s given some exotic and emotional performances and stands out as a fantastic choice for Vicki Vale. She’s done a lot of great work in a short career span and could certainly make Vale a more popular character than Kim Basinger.

James Gordon [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 40’s]: A by the book cop from Chicago, Gordon has spent the last ten years in Gotham. He’s built a hero cop reputation that makes him untouchable from the Mob side, while also having established a working relationship with Batman. He sees Batman as the last possible hope of getting the corrupted pillars down and often goes well out of his way to show support for the vigilante, while spinning a comfortable P.C. Narrative for his place in the department.

Ethan Hawke [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 48, Notable Works: Training Day, Lord of War, The Kid]: An odd choice but Hawke has rebuilt his career playing the down-to-earth everyman and lawman. He’s a great actor who’s built a fantastic resume of interesting and heartfelt performances. He’s got the age, the ability, and the look to play a fantastic Jim Gordon.

Barbara Gordon/Batgirl [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 17]: Gotham High Student, Daughter of James Gordon, and massive Batman fan. As she witnesses Gotham’s decline and sees Batman expand with Robin, she takes on the mantle of Batgirl and joins the fight.

Sophia Lillis [Height: 5’ 0”, Age: 17, Notable Works: 37, IT, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase]: A wonderful young actress who has done some stellar work inside some unexpected areas. Her tenure as Beverly Marsh was amazing and she has shown she could take a role and make it relevant and unique. Casting her as Barbara sets her up on a multi-film arc that Lillis would be able to really open up and create an iconic portrayal of Batgirl.

Sarah Essen-Gordon [Height: 5’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: Sarah Essen was a member of the Gotham City Police Department and the second wife of Police Commissioner James Gordon. She first met Gordon during his first year in Gotham and they started an affair. Since Gordon was married and had to take care of his newborn son, Sarah moved out of Gotham to avoid further complications. Years later, Sarah returned to Gotham and she resumed her romance with Gordon

Sarah Wayne Callies [Height: 5’ 1”, Age: 42, Notable Work: Prison Break, The Walking Dead, Colony]: A wonderful actress, she’s brought a lot of heart and energy to her roles. She’s done great playing a moral center, as she does in Colony. Having played a series of strong and emotional characters, there’s no doubt she could carry the role wonderfully well.

Harvey Bullock [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 40’s]: Former dirty cop, he was given a second chance by Gordon and has become beholden to him. He works with dirty cop Arnold Flass as his partner, keeping him in check. Bullock tolerates Batman, disliking him but understanding the necessity of him.

Danny McBride [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 42, Notable Works: As I Lay Dying, The Sound And The Fury, Alien Covenant]: Danny is an actor not many would associate with a role like Bullock. I think it’s pretty clear that Danny is a fantastic and hilarious actor. What is interesting is the drama experience he’s garnered in films like ‘As I Lay Dying’ and ‘The Sound and the Fury’ both directed by James Franco. Bullock has often been considered the comic relief of Batman Comics, but I wanted an actor who could be versatile in that. I think Danny could play both sides well and could certainly portray Bullock as fans have envisioned in the comics.

Renee Montoya [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 30’s]: A rookie cop who’s personal investigation of the Riddler assists Batman in the villains twisted Identity Game. She proves herself a strong officer and joins Gordon and Bullock on their Major Crimes Unit. She sees Bullock as a mentor, he watches over her as a father.

Danay Garcia [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 34, Notable Works: Prison Break, Avenge the Crows, Fear the Walking Dead]: A wonderful actress who has done some amazing work with the indie film Avenge the Crows and being a main stay on Fear the Walking Dead. She’s a strong actress who could bring a respectful and wonderful take on Montoya to life.

Ellen Yindel [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 20’s]: A member of the GCPD who views Batman as the problem. She becomes a hero cop early in her career and never waivers against her anti-Batman agenda, going as far as championing Gordon’s retirement so she can take over and turn the GCPD against the vigilante, she comes to understand that while she’s against Batman, the Vigilante is too big for her to judge.

Rachel Keller [Height: 5’ 5”, Age: 26, Notable Works: Legion, Write When You Get Here, The Society]: A dynamic and ranged actress Rachel is the best choice I could imagine to play Yindel without making the character a full villain. Having developed a layered character in each of her performances she could take the material that exist and create a Yindel that on some level anyone could agree with and create an interesting foil opposite Batman.

Janice Porter [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 40’s]: D.A. who takes over after Harvey Becomes Two-Face. Rumored to be as corrupted as the Mayor, D.A. Porter holds a secret obsession with Harvey and takes a sinister turn following his decent into madness.

Vera Farmiga [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 45, Notable Works: The Departed, The Conjuring, Bates Motel]: Characters like this almost feel like the trademark of Vera Farmiga. A strong actress that has done numerous characters who were flawed but human and endearing. There’s no douht if anyone could take a role like D.A. Porter and have fun and heart with it, it’s Vera.

Harvey Dent/Two Face [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 30’s]: District Attorney of Gotham, Dent works close with Batman and Jim Gordon creating a hidden Major Crimes Task Force. This all came tumbling down as Harvey has been seriously injured and heavily scarred during the trial of Surviving mob bosses Sal Maroni. After the incident Dent became a violent vigilante using a scarred coin to make hard choices. Harvey goes after the rest of the mob building his own crew in the process.

Zac Efron [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 31, Notable Works: Charlie St. Cloud, The Greatest Showman, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile]: After seeing his performance as Ted Bundy, with the various dimensions he’s brought to it, he is my only pic for Two-Face. There’s no shortage of charisma but with Bundy we got to peak at what Efron can do with darker characters, there’s no doubt Efron could be the definitive Two-Face.

Selina Kyle/Catwoman [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 20’s]: A former prostitute and the love child of Carmine Falcone. After an altercation with a Pimp almost killed her friend, she instead kills the Pimp in self defense. Inspired by the flurry of cats in the neighborhood and became the Catwoman.

Krysten Ritter [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 37, Notable Works: Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad, Jessica Jones]: A fantastic and dedicated actress, Ritter has played a wide variety of characters all of whom have made her branch out as an actress. Coming of her stint as Jessica Jones, she’s proven she can play action heavy roles, and with a role like Catwoman it would introduce her to a new type of character that could continues the tradition of new character types. There’s no doubt she has the talent and the beauty to play the role.

Dr. Thomas Elliot/Hush [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 20’s]: Surgeon of Gotham Regional Hospital, Thomas is the best friend of Bruce Wayne, having been an emotional foundation in his life since childhood. Early on in his career as Batman, Bruce had recruited Thomas for his medical expertise. Quickly Thomas had grown a sense of resentment with Bruce as he would allow children into the line of fire but continued to rebuke his offer to assist as a partner to Batman. This leads to him deciding to stop Bruce from being Batman by breaking him emotionally, physically, and financially wanting to stop him from adding more children to the mass of bodies in Batman’s war.

Richard Madden [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 33, Notable Works: Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Rocketman]: A strong actor who has charisma and presence necessary to take a role like Thomas Elliot and dive into the darkside of it. There’s no doubt that he could take a role that starts out as a supportive character and lead it straight into a threatening and layered villain.

Silver St. Cloud/Baphomet [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 20’s]: Fiancee to Billionaire Bruce Wayne, she is also a Mob Heiress after her father Steven St. Cloud was murdered. She has spent decades building a secret life that allowed her to run the mob. She takes on the moniker of Baphomet so she could murder the mob families responsible for her father’s death. Knowing Bruce’s secret and how her actions will hurt him she prepares a plan to give him a helping hand in the form of Richard Grayson.

Emilia Clarke [Height: 5’ 2”, Age: 32, Notable Works: Game of Thrones, Me Before You, Terminator Genysis]: Outside of looking like the character ripped straight from the page, She has fantastic chemistry with my choice for Batman, and her work as an actress is just absolutely stellar. She’s not only the perfect pick for Silver St. Cloud, she’s a born for it choice for the role.

Commissioner Gillian Loeb [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 50’s]: The corrupt Gotham Police Department commissioner, working for the Mob. In part responsible for the death of Silver St. Cloud’s father. He uses his powers as commissioner to keep good cops like Gordon down.

Dean Norris [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 56, Notable Works: Breaking Bad, Under the Dome, Fist Fight]: Best known as Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, he’s had a bit of a career playing cops. With appearances in Lethal Weapon 2, Playmaker, and the aforementioned Breaking Bad, he’s well known in the character type. Giving him something that allows him to play a more sinister and corrupt element would be fantastic for him. He’s been a popular choice for Bullock but his attitude and pedigree would offer up for a more interesting take on Loeb.

Det. Arnold Flass [Height: 6’ 6”, Age: 40’s]: Police Detective who was Jim Gordon’s partner when he came to Gotham, Flass introduced Jim to the more corrupt areas of the G.C.P.D. He is protected as Loeb’s chief enforcer, while Jim hopes he can change Flass the way he did Bullock.

Pablo Schrieber [Height: 6’ 5”, Age: 41, Notable Works: American Gods, Skyscraper, Den of Thieves]: A great actor who’s done some fantastic work to establish what he can do. There’s no doubt he could take a role like Arnold Flass and make him a memorable character for a change.

Howard Branden [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 30’s]: SWAT Leader for the G.C.P.D. Often used as an Execution Squad for whoever Loeb deems worthy of dying. He’s corrupt and almost soulless with his greed and dedication to the corrupted element of Gotham.

Josh Helman [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 33, Notable Works: X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mad Max Fury Road, Feast of the Seven Fishes]: He’s done some great work in small appearances as William Stryker, and had a fun memorable role in Fury Road. He’s got the look the attitude and size to play Branden and make the character every bit as vile and horrible as he did with Stryker.

Hamilton Hill [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 50’s]: Gotham City Mayor and corrupt figurehead. Happily taking bribes from everyone from Maroni and Faclone to Penguin and Rupert Thorne. A Spineless individual who’s overzealous in protecting his title.

Bob Odenkirk [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 56, Notable Works: Breaking Bad, Fargo, Better Call Saul]: Odenkirk is always a treat to see in anything. He’s played all manner of characters that had a mix of dramatic and comedic flair, leaving no doubt he could be fun and perfect as the corrupt Mayor of Gotham City.

Jocko-Boy Vanzetti [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 40’s]: A low level hitman who was Hired as a Decoy by Tony Zucco to Draw Batman out for Baphomet. This leads to his arrest and later interrogation by Batman and Dick Grayson, later being killed by Baphomet.

Ryan Hurst [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Sons of Anarchy, Outsiders, The Walking Dead]: Ryan is a terrific actor and has shown he can take small characters and make them memorable. With a template as blank as Jocko this would allow Hurst to step into a role and make it completely his own and create a memorable Batman villain out of someone who is known only as an obscure small appearance character from All Star Batman and Robin: The Boy Wonder.

Carmine Falcone [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 60’s]: Carmine Falcone was one of the truly great crimelords of Gotham, back when it was a mafia-run town. Nicknamed The Roman for his unflinching ruthlessness and expansionism, his mafia network was often called "The Roman Empire." Falcone virtually controlled the entire city, with the Mayor, the City council, and the Police Commissioner, Gillian B. Loeb under his influence. Falcone was completely untouchable by the law, but not by the Batman.

Robert Picardo [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 65, Notable Works: Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate: Atlantis, The Father and The Bear]: One of my favorite actors, I’ve been a fan of his since Voyager and have always wanted to see him given more of a spotlight. There’s no doubt that his chilling expression and dead stare could make for a frightening Carmine Falcone and it could show how great an actor Robert Picardo really is.

Sal Maroni [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 50’s]: Salvatore Vincent "Sal" "The Boss" Maroni grew up in the privileged Maroni crime family, headed by his father Luigi "Big Lou" Maroni. Sal Maroni was one of toughest gangsters in Gotham City, and is shown in his prime to be the second most powerful mobster in Gotham City after Carmine (The Roman) Falcone. He is largely credited with being the mobster to throw acid at Harvey Dent, and turn him into Two-Face. Maroni owned an Italian restaurant called Maroni's that he used as a front for his criminal activities.

Judd Nelson [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 59, Notable Works: New Jack City, Boondock Saints II: All Saint’s Day, Dirty Politics]: He was a lot of fun in Boondock Saints, he’s a strong actor that’s really shown some change in the types of projects he’s taken and could really stand out in a role like Sal Maroni.

Rupert Thorne [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 60’s]: Gotham City Councilman and Mob Boss. Having seen Batman’s impact on the Criminal Underworld, Thorne seeks an avenue to kill Batman to allow his business to thrive again. He’s the one Boss in the city comfortable with Going to war with Carmine Falcone.

Roger Allam [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 66, Notable Works: V For Vendetta, Speed Racer, Endeavor]: Ever since seeing his performance in Speed Racer there’s been no other actor I could imagine in this role. He’s had the look and the presence necessary to play Thorne and there’s no doubt he was born for the role. He would be perfect and menacing as Thorne.

Tony Zucco [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 60’s]: Tony Zucco is the man that killed Richard Grayson's parents, the Flying Graysons. As a mobster in Gotham at the time, Zucco killed the Graysons by making them fall to their deaths during a trapeze stunt. He was manipulated by Baphomet (unbeknownst to him: Silver St. Cloud).

Elias Koteas [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 58, Notable Works: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Prophecy, Chicago P.D.]: Another personal favorite of mine. Koteas has been fun in almost every role I’ve seen him in. Putting him in a role where he get’s to play someone as vile as Zucco would make for a pretty entertaining Villain.

Roman Sionis/Black Mask [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 40’s]: A Gotham Gangster who’s apart of a family dynasty of Gangsters in Gotham. He’s smart to the trend and when Batman first began to appear he adopted a Black Mask and the moniker as a way of ‘catching trends’ and stand out as a feared Mob Boss. He’s deadly and insane, prone to irrational and irregular tantrums often leading to someone getting murdered.

Corey Stoll [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Ant-Man, The Strain, First Man]: Corey has been an actor that, since appearing in Ant-Man, has been wanted in a DC Film. Often cast as Lex Luthor I felt Stoll worked much better in the role of Black Mask. His work as Cross had hinted at Mental Illness and I think a character like Black Mask would give him an avenue to really develop that characterization and provide him with a darker edge to work with. He’s a great actor and could certainly do amazing as Black Mask.

Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin [Height: 5’ 2”, Age: 50’s]: The Penguin is a fancy criminal and self-styled entrepreneur, who uses his business as a front to cover his criminal activities. Penguin started as many criminals in Gotham City, by performing crimes with a specific theme surrounding birds. Eventually, Penguin outgrew his hands-on crimes and became the mastermind of organized crime in Gotham, making him a valuable asset for both criminals and heroes alike.

Peter Jacobson [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 54, Notable Works: House, White House Down, Colony]: A strong actor who’s played morally ambigious characters as well as flat out corrupt individuals, Peter has stood out in a lot of his roles. With a look and overall manner that fits a character like Penguin there’s no doubt he could play the role and perfectly capture the essence of Oswald Cobblepot.

Ignatius Ogilvy/Emperor Blackgate [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 30’s]: A former underboss of the Penguin he won a small war that allowed him to create his own faction, taking inmates from Blackgate and turning them into his soldiers, building an intimidating Army and creating a strong foothold as a Gotham Gangster.

Pilou Asbaek [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 37, Notable Works: Game of Thrones, Ghost in the Shell, Overlord]: He’s had some fun performances but a lot of his work has been so tied to serious and drama that I feel playing a more morally deranged and insane character would be something entirely fresh to see Pilou do. He’s a great actor and this is the kind of role he’s perfect for.

Ferris Boyle [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 60’s]: CEO of Gothcorp who’s actions inadvertently cause Victor Fries to become Mister Freeze. A Coward and a monster who hides beneath a veneer of a kind and care-free man, often pretending to be naive to gain an upper hand.

Paul Reiser [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 63, Notable Works: Aliens, Whiplash, Stranger Things]: Paul has been a lot of fun, especially in Stranger Things. He’s done a lot of great performances in his career and could really make a memorable and fun performance out of a little known character like Ferris Boyle.

Roland Daggett [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 60’s]: The most legitimate looking member of the Gotham Mafia. He’s the owner of Ace Chemicals, as well as a Co-Contributor to Gothcorp. His mob connections allowed him to quietly have Victor and Nora Fries Murdered.

Richard E Grant [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 62, Notable Works: Downton Abby, Dig, Logan]: He’s got a great repertoire for playing sinister characters and Roland Daggett. With an ability to play dark roles this would be a role that would allow for a bit more light heartedness as well as more puppet mastery role than he did as Xander Rice. There’s no douht he could be intimidating as Roland Daggett.

Onomatopoeia [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 40’s]: Onomatopoeia is a serial killer who targets non-powered, vigilante superheroes. He earned his name because he imitates noises around him, such as dripping taps, gunshots, etc. It seems that he may be able to perfectly imitate these sounds but that has been left ambiguous. He invariably carries two semiautomatic handguns and an army knife, and is a skilled unarmed combatant. He poses as a bodyguard for Silver St. Cloud (Baphomet) named ‘Bryan Johnson.’

Toby Leonard Moore [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 38, Notable Works: John Wick, Daredevil, Billions]: One of my favorite actors who’ve popped up in recent times. He was memorable in John Wick and fantastic in Daredevil. He carries a sense of uneasyness that would translate well to playing Onomatopoeia, and he could handle the action well, making a character one of the many DC Villains to be apart of the pop culture lexicon. Toby would be absolutely perfect in the role.

Arthur Brown/Cluemaster [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 30’s]: A low level criminal who once appeared on a gameshow called “Cluemasters.” After an few encounters with Batman he became a pawn used by the Riddler in the villains’ Identity Game.

Wyatt Russell [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 32, Notable Works: 22 Jump Street, Overlord, Lodge 49]: A strong actor that hasn’t been given his due yet. He’s done some memorable work but I think he would be able to do a lot to stand out especially in a role like Cluemaster.

Drury Walker/Killer Moth [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 40’s]: A Criminal Fixer helping villains escape the city, causing distractions. He becomes an ally of the Riddler, assisting in inventing various traps set to the villain’s questionable theme.

Jimmi Simpson [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Zodiac, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Westworld]: Jimmi is becoming one of the most surprisingly ranged actors I’ve seen pop up. Having well known and beloved appearances in It’s Always Sunny but then doing such dark and developed performances in Westworld, he would no doubt take Killer Moth and make the character an interesting and fresh take on the character.

Edward Nashton/The Riddler [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 30’s]: Ex-Wayne Enterprises Employee, Edward left after his ‘unbridled genius’ wasn’t recognized, killing then Operating CEO Philip Kane in the process. He began a career as a costumed criminal, discovering another Edward with a similar intellect and style, the two began to work on the greatest trick ever pulled on Batman and began a unique crime spree as the Riddler, each taking turns getting busted and breaking out. Nashton only ever wanted to prove himself the smarter man when it came to his encounters with Batman.

Jason Schwartzman [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 38, Notable Works: Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Bored to Death, The Polka King]: There’s no one I could imagine playing the Riddler any better. Not only does he have the natural ego-driven charisma that befits the Riddler, he has the presence. Since his portrayal of Gideon Graves I’ve been absolutely convinced no one else is right for the role outside of Schwartzman.

Edward Parker/The Riddler [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 30’s]: A young genius who ran away from an abusive father and joined the circus. Angered after he was spurned by the ‘love of his life’ he committed his first murder at 17. He found Edward Nashton and the two created a new identity between them: Edward Nygma The Riddler. With a desire for fame and fortune the two secretly became one of the Batman’s greatest enemies.

Timm Sharp [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 41, Notable Works: Blunt Talk, Threadbare, One Mississippi]: I first noticed Timm on Blunt Talk, and took a notice to how {with facial hair} he had a decent resemblance to Jason Schwartzman {who appeared in a few episodes of the series}. He has a great range for performance, and when I came up with my ‘two Riddlers’ idea he became the only candidate for the 2nd Riddler. He is a great actor and would be instrumental in pulling off a 2nd Riddler reveal especially considering who I cast as the 1st.

Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 30’s]: Jervis Tetch is a criminal who operates in Gotham City. He is best known as "The Mad Hatter", for his obsession with the character of the same name from "Alice in Wonderland". Initially a common criminal with a specific theme, Tetch has become mentally unstable in recent times, usually seen at Gotham's mental hospital, Arkham Asylum.

Elijah Wood [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 38, Notable Works: Lord of the Rings, Wilfred, Maniac]: Elijah has done a lot of great performances but none of his performances have seemed to really let him go. With his placement in geek culture stapled as Frodo I think him taking a character and going dark and ridiculous with it would let audiences see him in a new light. He’s a great actor and could do an amazing job as Mad Hatter.

Basil Karlo/Clayface [Height: 6’ 10”, Age: 40’s]: A washed up B-Movie Actor that appeared in a string of Horror Films called “Clayface” having been unable to get cast based on his resume. He begins taking side jobs as a mob hand (as his size and strength made him stand out) until an altercation with Batman had him bathed in a chemical substance from Daggett Industries gave him a melted body that turns him into a mass-less blob, driven insane from the ordeal he reforms himself as the titular Monster Clayface.

Rory McCann [Height: 6’ 6”, Age: 50, Notable Works: Hot Fuzz, Clash of the Titans, Game of Thrones]: Rory is agreat actor and has really shown what he can do in Game of Thrones. He’s shown he can do more than just “Big guy” parts and can actually show and emote and this gives him an opportunity to do something even bigger as Clayface. I think he could have fun and really do something unique with the character and stand out even further as an actor.

Slade Wilson/Deathstroke [Height: 6’ 5”, Age: 50’s]: Former Colonel in the Army, after subjecting himself to an experimental Super Soldier Drug, he left the military and began globe-trotting as a deadly assassin Deathstroke. He takes an assignment to Kill Batman and Robin, wanting to use the status as a massive boost for being the most dangerous assassin.

Ray Stevenson [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 55, Notable Works: Punisher: War Zone, Thor, Black Sails]: He’s shown not only can he play deadly, he can play pure evil. He stood out as an intimidating Black Beard and he played a very sympathetic Frank Castle. He’s a better actor then he’s given credit for and he could do something fun and unique as Deathstroke. He’s got the size, the talent, and the presence to make the character every bit the villain he is in the comics.

Floyd Lawton/Deadshot [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: The best assassin in the world, an expert in all firearms. He lives feeling he has no purpose and has gone on a journey for a ‘glorious and meaningful’ death. He takes an assignment to kill Batman, hoping to either enjoy a massive payday or be killed by the legendary vigilante.

Oscar Isaac [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 40, Notable Works: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, X-Men: Apocalypse, Triple Frontier]: Charming and absolutely excellent as an actor Oscar Isaac has stood out especially in recent years. Having a charming role in Star Wars, an action fueled Triple Frontier, he’s shown he can really bend his range. There’s no doubt he has the charm and class to play Deadshot but also has the talent to make the character much deeper and darker than the character’s been allowed to be outside of comics.

Anatoli Knyazev/KGBeast [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 40’s]: A Russian assassin, trained to be a Soviet Super Assassin, he escaped Russia and began working for his own interest. He came to Gotham after building a resume showcasing himself as one of the deadliest villains, he takes a contract to take out the Batman Competing with Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Killer Croc.

Richard Armitage [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 47, Notable Works: The Hobbit {Franchise}, Pilgrimage, Hannibal]: A wonderful actor who’s been highly sought after to join the DC Universe. Cast in various roles, Here I see him best as the KGBeast. He’s shown he can be deadly and menacing, but I think he could bring some much needed heart and depth to the character and create an iconic portrayal of the soviet assassin.

Waylon Jones/Killer Croc [Height: 7’ 5”, Age: 40’s]: Born in a foster system in Louisiana after his mother died in Child Birth, Waylon developed a very serious chip on his shoulder. Leaving Foster care at 18 he joined the circus, as it was the only avenue of work due to his looks, After being seriously cheated and emotionally abused by the Circus Owner, he snapped and murdered him traveling to Gotham to become a gangster instead. He started Low level and worked his way to Underboss but was prevented from going any higher -- until he was offered a Contract by Black Mask, if he kills the Batman he get’s a seat at the table and his own forces, leading Croc to take the job.

Mustafa Shakir [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 41, Notable Works: Brawl in Cell Block 99, Quary, Luke Cage]: After giving a wonderful and scene stealing performance as Bushmaster, Mustafa became a key choice for a role like Croc. Seeing that he could play more than just a monster or a stereotype in the role Mustafa could give the role much needed depth and humanity to make Killer Croc more than just a menacing Monster, but add some sympathy to him as well.

Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 30’s]: Psychiatrist who operates primarily out of Arkham Asylum. After an incident where he saw a patient breakdown in complete fear of Batman they committed suicide Crane began to explore fear as a subject and began experimenting with drugs leading to Crane developing a fear toxin. With a Toxin he begins challenging Batman to see what made the Dark Knight tic. With the fear gimmick in tow, he took the name Scarecrow and has become a dangerous villain.

Michael Pitt [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 38, Notable Works: Funny Games, Boardwalk Empire, Hannibal]: No stranger to horror nor a stranger to playing characters that play on fear and turn on the creepy factor. His work as Mason Veger stands out and makes him a great candidate to play a rebooted Scarecrow, if anyone could top Cillian Murphy, it’s Michael Pitt.

Dr. Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat [Height: 7’ 4”, Age: 50’s]: A deaf Zoologist, Kirk attempted to find a way to hear without the assistance of a hearing aid. His attempts led to him using glands from various types of Bats and creating a chemical serum that turned him into a monster. After becoming the wild Man-Bat he was captured by Hugo Strange, forcing Langstrom to create more Man-Bat serum as well as other chemical agents to assist in Strange’s attempt to create Monster Men.

Doug Jones [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 59, Notable Works: Hellboy, Star Trek Discovery, Shape of Water]: Doug Jones is an awesome actor and has done some fantastic work in prosthesis. Putting him in a role like Man-Bat allows him to be in an outside of makeup and develop a real character for Man-Bat that draws in sympathy. There’s no doubt that Doug Jones could very well create a heart-wrenching Man-Bat and make the character one of the most popular Batman villains.

Dr. Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 30’s]: A botanist working to protect the wild life by developing plant hybrids with predatory instincts, her research led to an explosion that consumed her, with her remains being mixed with a chemical agent that allowed her to be reborn as the deadly Poison Ivy. With numerous plant based abilities she attempts to create a Global Genocide until she’s proven far weaker over time than she had hoped. She encounters Hush who manipulates her into attacking Batman.

Ana De Armas [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 31, Notable Works: Knock Knock, War Dogs, Blade Runner 2049]: Her work in Blade Runner is amazing. She’s shown she can be emotionally seductive and can absolutely stand out as physically seductive. Giving her a role like Poison Ivy allows her to really amp up some darker corners that could shine and stand out. She would make the character a more popular villain than she has been previously adapted as in film.

Lester Buchinsky/Electrocutioner [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 30’s]: Born with a rare ability of Electrokinesis, he grew up in a rough neighborhood of Gotham and began using his abilities to rise up the criminal underworld becoming a deadly underboss to the Maroni Crime Empire until his death. He became a deadly assassin working on his own terms.

Dustin Clare [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 37, Notable Works: Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Underbelly, Wolf Creek]: Dustin is an actor who never got his opportunity to really shine after Spartacus. He’s immensely talented and has really produced some well developed performances that just haven’t been seen. He could take a role like Electrocutioner and do something wholly unique.

Dr. Alexander Sartorius/Doctor Phosphorus [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 40’s]: A Former Nuclear Physicist who was thought dead after locked in a miniature reactor by Rupert Thorne’s henchmen. After Throne’s death by Baphomet he is taken in and assisted by Hugo Strange, who warps his mind into becoming a vigilante loyal to him. He takes the name Doctor Phosphorus and begins using Strange’s Monsters to hunt The Batman.

Logan Marshall-Green [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 42, Notable Works: Prometheus, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Upgrade]: He’s an underrated actor and has shown some real heart and character in his performances. For a role like Doctor Phosphorus it lets Logan Marshall-Green stand out and develop a deep character and show he can not only play threatening but intelligent as well.

Professor Hugo Strange [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 40’s]: Hugo Strange is a brilliant but insane psychologist and scientist who is driven by obsession to fight against Batman. Strange is famous for having discovered Batman's secret identity independently through deduction and striking at him emotionally.

Raul Esparza [Height: 5' 9", Age: 48, Notable Works: NBC Hannibal, Law and Order SVU, My Soul To Take]: Raul is an actor who's really captured my attention. He's given strong performances and if you asked me, out performed Anthony Head as Dr. Frederick Chilton. There are many roles I can see Raul in, before I chose to share many of the others that would be easier to see, I figured he would be due for such an ominous alpha-villain role. He has the perfect mannerisms and voice to carry such a role.

Dr. Victor Fries/Mister Freeze [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 40’s]: Scientist who’s wife was stricken Ill. When he moved his research towards a cure for her illness his employer Ferris Boyle quietly had him executed by dropping him into a Chemical bath, resulting in him being comatose. During his coma, his wife died and his body chemistry changed, forcing him to need to be in constant refrigeration to keep from decay and hyperthermia. Fries developed a cold suit and began a mission to murder those responsible for preventing him from saving his wife.

Michael C Hall [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 48, Notable Works: Six Feet Under, Dexter, Safe]: An actor popular in cult circles after his legendary performance as Dexter Morgan, little has been seen of Michael C Hall since. He’s a great actor and can do a lot with a role like Victor Fries. He’s got the sense of cold and lack of emotion and can actually do a great job taking the talent and developing a cold and calculating Mister Freeze.

Lady Shiva [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 40’s]: A highly trained assassin, loyal to Ra’s Al Ghul. She refuses to trust Batman and acts as a bodyguard to Talia Al Ghul, operating in a similar vein to Ubu.

Maggie Q [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 40, Notable Works: Live Free or Die Hard, Nikita, Designated Survivor]: I really enjoy Maggie Q. She has a great body of work and has played some really different roles. She’s taken time built range and has done a mixture of action and Drama. She’s consistent with strong performances even in less than stellar projects and could take a role like Lady Shiva and give her character depth that justifies her place in a live action movie.

Ubu [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 40’s]: Loyal servant and personal bodyguard to Ra’s Al Ghul. Ubu is loyal to a fault following his master’s order’s to the letter. He sees the vision Ra’s has for the world and feels it is without flaw seeing Ra’s as almost a religious figure.

Amaury Nolasco [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 48, Notable Works: Max Payne, Prison Break, Edge of Fear]: Amaury has done a lot of decent work especially in recent memory. He’s played a variety of roles but never something like Ubu. He’s a good actor and could do something to create a definitive Ubu with his performance.

Talia Al Ghul [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 30’s]: Talia al Ghul is the daughter of international terrorist Ra's al Ghul. This makes her a member of the League of Assassins. Ra's has determined that Batman is most worthy to father his heir, and Talia views Batman as her beloved.

Naomi Scott [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 26, Notable Works: The Martian, Power Rangers, Aladdin]: She has shown some wonderful range and performances. She was fun in Power Rangers and a stand out in Aladdin. She’s shown she can play strong characters and would be absolutely astonishing taking a role of moral question like Talia. There’s a lot of depth she could bring to it and could certainly surprise audiences in her performance.

Ra’s Al Ghul [Height: 6’ 5”, Age: 500’s]: Ra's al Ghul is a radical international eco-terrorist whose lifespan has been extended for hundreds of years. He believes that the evils of humanity are a blight on our planet, and seeks to extinguish them through whatever means he deems necessary. Through an international organization called the League of Assassins, he manipulates world events to achieve his own ends. Ra's achieves his immortality through the ancient Lazarus Pits. His name literally translates to Demon's Head, or Head of the Demon, which is a comment on his character.

Said Taghmaoui [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 45, Notable Works: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Wonder Woman, John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum]: After seeing him in John Wick {where he plays a master of a league of assassins known as the One above the Table/The Elder} and it became instantly clear he was perfect for the role. He was fun and deep in Wonder Woman and in John Wick he was intimidating and carried a heavy presence in an almost fatherly light. He has the right qualities to play a role like Ra’s Al Ghul and make it the legendary character that he’s become in the Comics. There’s no doubt he is perfect for the role.

The Joker [Height: 6’ 5”, Age: 30’s]: A homicidal serial killer, the Joker has been obsessed with Batman since his ‘creation.’ He kills to in brutal efforts to make himself and other laugh, not interested in anything outside of ‘Life’s Big Joke’ and wanting to convince Batman of it. He acts primarily on self interest and gets easily agitated. Horror stories are told to scare other criminals.

Dane Dehaan [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 33, Notable Works: Chronicle, Kill Your Darlings, A Cure for Wellness]: It’s been a long road for Dehaan since Chronicle, he’s starred in some standouts and in some Critically panned films. This might come as controversial choice, but after giving a deep and heartfelt performance in A Cure for Wellness there’s no doubt he could take the Joker and do something stellar with the role. He’s got a good presence and a good range to take the Joker and make something wholly different and iconic with the role. He’s a strong actor and this would be a great role for him to stand out in, as well as wash out the sin from Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Copperhead [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 30’s]: A deadly assassin from Santa Prisca, Bane forcefully recruits her to his crew, using her venom to create a poison to infect Batman and the Joker, allowing him to study the Dark Knight Under duress. She works for Bane Loyally mostly out of fear, but also out of the promise of riches Bane presents.

Sofia Boutella [Height: 5’ 5”, Age: 37, Notable Works: Star Trek: Beyond, Atomic Blond, The Mummy]: A fantastic actress that really stands out. Her work has been consistent despite being in mixed films as well as great ones. She’s a strong actress and instantly came to mind when placing this version of Copperhead into the Batman mythos.

Trogg [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 60’s]: A former inmate who, after his mother’s death, took Bane in and raised him. He gave him the name and tought Bane to look beyond the number he was given. He is considered a Father Figure to Bane and works as Bane’s Alfred. He is loyal as he does see Bane as his son, and a path of redemption for himself.

Andy Serkis [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 55, Notable Works: Lord of the Rings {Franchise}, Planet of the Apes {Franchise}, Black Panther]: Andy has really shown some fantastic and emotional range in his performances. From playing the obsessed Gollum to starring in the emotional tale showing the rise of a noble leader as Caeser. He’s had fun playing the more out of control Ulysses Klaue. It would be an interesting balance to see him play a character that’s more or less a father figure to a more menacing and powerful figure like Bane, and there’s no doubt Andy would pull it off in spectacular Fashion.

Bird [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 30’s]: An Inmate of the prison who quickly joined Bane’s crew. He specialized in training Birds and using them not only for attacks but for messages and ‘mail.’ He stands as a trusted Lieutenant of Bane.

Austin Amelio [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 31, Notable Works: The Walking Dead {Franchise}, Song to Song, Mercy Black]: Austin is a fun actor and a role like Bird requires someone who can be fun, menacing, and dramatic. Austin is certainly an actor that checks off all the boxes and stands out as a fantastic actor perfect for Bird.

Zombie [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 30’s]: Former Gotham gang member, he escaped and hid in Santa Prisca where he was captured and placed in the Santa Duro prison. There He worked as an orderly to restrain patients who are tested, here he witnessed the ‘Rebirth’ of Bane and assisted in his escape and helped him develop a criminal empire in Gotham.

Joe Gilgun [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 35, Notable Works: Misfits, Lockout, Preacher]: Every time I’ve seen Gilgun pop up in anything he’s been one of the most enjoyable presences, whether it’s film or television. He’s a great actor and has been a wonderful element on Preacher. Casting a role like Zombie Gilgun was my go to. He’s a strong actor that would apply the appropriate sense of levity, heart, and menace to the role.

Bane [Height: 6’ 5”, Age: 40’s]: Born in a prison in Santa Prisca, Bane only ever knew a hardlife. He spent the first 20 Years of his life caged with murderers, with only one who took him in… Trogg. Born with a Photographic Memory, he was able to learn through a prison library and bribing guards for books. He became an expert Fighter and went to improve his body. He was experimented on and became addicted to a chemical agent known as ‘Venom’ and escaped the prison with his crew. He desired to prove himself as the peak of human evolution, he discovered the existence of Batman and sought to break the vigilante and take Gotham as a warlord.

Rodrigo Santoro [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Lost, 300, Westworld]: This is a choice I’ve fought a lot for. He’s done some stellar work and stood out pretty memorably in 300, but since his stint on Westworld the reasons that make him perfect for Bane have came very clear. Now with Tom King’s love letter to the character through his Batman Run, it seems very clear that Rodrigo would be the only actor able to pull off that Bane, and that he could make the character every bit the titan against Batman that he has been. Rodrigo has a look and presence of intimidation that makes him stand out. With his great performance in Westworld as Hector, he’s as perfect for Bane as an actor can get.

Dang, where's the GIF for a slowly-building mass audience applause when I need it? 'Cause this cast is dynamite.

- Oh, the concept of a Batman film in the style of John Wick is tantalizing!
- I would like to see what Sam did in The Corrupted to make him your choice for Batman, but apparently, it's a UK release. Unless there are plans to release it here in the west, I won't be seeing it anytime soon.
- Probably wouldn't be against Jaeden as a young Dick Grayson.
- Interesting choices for the other Robins.
- Eh, not really feeling Mackenzie Davis as Vicki Vale. If she were born years earlier, she would make a great older Batgirl. Hell, I'd figure you give her a more physical role after the Terminator: Dark Fate trailer. I'm in lieu of Aly Michalka as Vicki, seeing as she plays whip-smart with ease.
- I see Sophia Lillis as the Carrie Kelly Robin, at least based on her hairdo. Just put glasses on her, and it looks like Carrie come to life.
- Not feeling Danny McBride as Harvey Bullock. I'm kind of wavering between Tom Sizemore and Domenick Lombardozzi.
- Glad you're showing some love to Danay Garcia. Fairy underrated mamacita.
- Ah, you finally cast Vera Farmiga. Definitely a class act of the highest order compared to some of Hollywood's elitist twats.
- I may have to watch that Ted Bundy film on Netflix based on your glowing recommendation. Don't know if I see Zac as Two Face at the moment.
- I love Krysten Ritter as much as the next person (she's from my state as well!), but I just can't see her as Catwoman. Especially when you got a young'n like Sam Claflin as Batman. Maybe it's me, but I'd rather you'd have gone with Nina Dobrev. Watch her as Katherine, not Elena, in The Vampire Diaries. You won't go back.
- I heard some people say that Emilia Clarke would go well playing a more mob princess role. So you probably got the right idea here.
- Gotta love Dean Norris, especially after he told off people like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman for getting their kids into college via bribery. That alone makes me a supporter of his!
- I think I'd like to see Mel Gibson as Carmine Falcone. Someone suggested him a while back. Especially after his work in Expendables 3.
- I think Mark Consuelos would be interesting to see as Sal Maroni, especially after playing Hiram Lodge in Riverdale. Up to you, though.
- Aww, what happened to Robert Davi as Tony Zucco? I love the guy since he's a big supporter of President Trump and all that.
- Well, this Peter Jacobsen guy is small enough. I'd be down for him as Penguin.
- I might have to check out the last season of Daredevil to get a vibe on your Onomatopoeia choice.
- Interesting choices for both Riddlers! But it Jason Schwartzman working anymore? Haven't heard from him in forever.
- Still see you have one of your old Deathstroke choices!
- After Elementary and Dexter, I'll have to go with Johnny Lee Miller as Scarecrow.
- Ana de Armas is such a "Meh!" actress in my opinion. I think I'll take Elena Satine for Poison Ivy, especially after the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. where she played Lorelei.
- Interesting choice for Lady Shiva.
- Finally you use Naomi Scott! But Talia doesn't seem in her wheelhouse. She seems more fun than dark and malicious.

Pretty decent cast! Can't wait to see your next one. And use Riverdale stars for Christ's sake!

I think a twelve movie Batman story is exactly what is needed. It allows for a slow build and characterization of arguably one the best comic book heroes ever while giving time to create impactful and dramatic stories without rushing a script to just get it done.
DC/WB should take this hint and look to develop all their heroes with these long story arcs. It would be a good way to separate themselves from Marvel.
Your casting choices for these characters are unique and inspired. Its good not to see the same actors being cast in the same roles.
Well done, Sir!
