OK hear me out with all the Actors in the running For Captain America i feel Chris Evans is the most competent for the role he's best Actor of the bunch.He always delivers good performances may it be in comedic or serious roles.He Has the Acting ability and charisma to no get out acted off screen by RDJ/Jackson/Norton/etc.He has the physical size and presence already needed for Captain America. He is tall but not too tall and not short either he stand at 6 Foot even which is taller than RDJ but also complements Hemsworth's Thor.Who stands at 6'4 and Thor has to be bigger than Cap so that works out very well. Chris Evans is also a very good actor and peope should not judge him off Fantastic Four(which he was great in)the Johnny Storm character called for that witty wise cracking persona.If you check out his more serious stuff like Sunshine/Street Kings/London/ you will see he is more than capable to play Captain America.Especially check out his work in Sunshine where he is a Leader of a group of astronauts, and he takes charge of his crew and is very commanding and showed leadership quality.
