Deathstroke (DC Universe) VS Deadpool (Marvel Knights)
Winner: Deathstroke (close call!)
THIS WEEK'S EVENT
Judge Dredd
Real Name: Joseph Dredd
Team: 2000 AD
First Appearance: 2000 AD #2 (March 1977)
Arch-Nemesis: Judge Death
Bio:
In the aftermath of nuclear apocalypse, one of the few remaining civilizations is Mega City One in North America. Due to the fact that MC1 is over-run with crime and violence, a no-nonsense police force had to be established. Each officer is judge, jury and executioner. Among the best officers is Judge Dredd. Highly skilled in combat and fighting, Dredd doesn't take s**t off of anybody. He is known for his short temper, seriousness and the fact that he refuses to focus on anything but the task at hand. Some may argue that Dredd's fighting abilities rival that of the DC superhero known as Batman, who Dredd has met in several crossovers. Dredd also possesses a powerful multi-purpose gun called a law-maker. It's functions/ammo include (but are not limited to) Standard bullets, Rubber Ricochet, Armour Piercing, Heat-Seeking, Incendiary and Hi-Ex. It is DNA coded, so only he can use it. Dredd can see in the dark, as well.
Robocop
Real Name: Alex Murphy
Team: Robocop movies, comics, ETC
First Appearance: Robocop (1987 movie)
Arch-Nemesis: Omni-Corps
Bio:
Alex Murphy was a good cop until he was severely injured by a mob boss. The only way he could be saved was from the robotics division of a corrupt company called Omni-Corps. OC replaced most of his body with cybernetic parts but also attempted to use mind control so they could use him for their own purposes. Murphy broke free and defeated the corporation. As Robocop, Murphy continues to fight crime. Robocop is bullet proof to most types of bullets (though I'm sure some of Dredd's futuristic law-maker ammo could pierce Robocop), has super strength/reflexes, a variety of weapons, access to entire criminal databases and police data, and enhanced speed of thinking.
