Batman vs Superman
I think that making this movie is a great move by the DCCU, in my DCCU I have decided to follow this route. This is because they have to get cinema goers’ attention to build the franchise and nothing does that better than the 2 most legendary comic book characters of all time. Also this is a movie idea people are interested in currently so I might as well give my opinions on it.

This is my universe so far in the order canon order not the order of release:
Martian Manhunter - http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Guido/news/?a=93032
The Dark Knight Trilogy – Yes I’m having this as semi-canon, it’s popular and even if you don’t like it surely we don’t need another origin story so this deals with that.
The Green Lantern Movie – Again semi-canon, although not popular I don’t want to reboot
Man of Steel – A suitable base to build the franchise around, I really liked this movie

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

Guidelines for the movie I want to see:
Make it ‘vs’. I know they are meant to be friends but a lot of people, myself included want to see them beating the s**t out of each other. They can work together towards the end.

No Kryptonite. Despite being a Superman fan I have never liked the idea of Kryptonite as it always comes off as cartoony, especially in live action. I like the original Superman Movies and Smallville but Kryptonite damaged their credibility and is an easy way out for writers.

No clear winner. I don’t just want Batman’s face punched through his lungs or for Batman to just whip out his anti-Superman spray and for it all to be over. We can have one win and then the other or a draw.

And so it begins:

Superman/Clark Kent – Henry Cavill

Well he’s already Superman and he did a good job of it. He already has a suit and I have seen no reason to replace him. Before he was cast I wanted Tom Welling but either is fine.

Batman/Bruce Wayne – Ben Affleck

Again he is already cast as Batman. I didn’t like the idea at first but I’m coming around to Batfleck so I might as well include him. If it was my decision I would have chosen Daniel Craig.

Lex Luthor – Jess Eisenberg has been announced as Lex and to be honest I can see him doing it really well.

Before this was announced my choice was James Purefoy not an obvious choice for Luthor but I didn’t want an obvious choice. Anyone who has seen Purefoy’s stuff knows that he can be evil and menacing but also have the driven and self-righteousness of Luthor. He just needs to shave his head.

Parasite/Rudy Jones – Andy Serkis
It's going to be CGI so we might as well get the best man for the job.

Alfred Pennyworth – I've seen Jeremy Irons in many things and he's always good so I'm sure he will do this role justice.

I would have chosen Sean Connery It’s a small role but I want to have a believable ex-army medic Alfred to help out Batman. Also he will be there to have a bit of banter with Bruce.

The rest of the cast, we have already seen in Man of Steel.

A huge "NO" to Welling, Craig, Connery, and Serkis. Really the only halfway decent choice is Purefoy, and I'm not entirely sold since he's almost in his 50's, Good Actor but not 100% right for Superman.

I Find it safe to say I'm not sold on your vision, others might be but I know I'm not.

You do realize that Sean Connery retired a LONG time ago right? Right after The Leauge of Extraordinary Gentleman
