I don't get it. Why is Gohan so old and trunks so Young? Trunks is supposed e d to be a teen from the future. He's the version of Trunks that fights the androids.

has it TRULY come down to the fan community bitching about leg warmers over socks for a character? There's some green cloth near his ankles. It looks accurate enough. For crying out loud! And I've seen people use white contact lenses instead of the cowl lenses, Batmaniac. It looks rather awesome actually. Check out Sandy Collora's Batman: Dead End and World's Finest trailer. It's not a bad look whatsoever.

Is it impossible for OTHER creatives to put their spin on a character or property? As long as they stay faithful, why must they adhere to EVERY SINGLE MINUTE DETAIL?? You have the comics. That's your canon, go-to bible. Let others make their spinoffs, alternate realities, etc. If everything was so by-the-book then what would be the point in ADAPTING the source material to various media?

There are direct adaptations and then there are loose adaptations. They can coexist.

This actually doesn't look too bad. But why does Gohan have blue hair? And why is he wearing a Rebel Alliance pilot jacket?

I'm interested in seeing how Android 18 looks.
