FAN-ART: Minimalist Poster Based On THE WOLVERINE

FAN-ART: Minimalist Poster Based On THE WOLVERINE

The Wolverine hits theaters this weekend, so to get in the spirit, I designed a minimalist poster based on the Hugh Jackman-starrer. Hit the jump to check it out.

Even though I have yet to see The Wolverine, I thought a minimalist poster based on the film itself would be pretty cool to construct. Check it out below:

The poster is heavily Japan inspired in which most (if not all) of the film takes place. Be sure to comment and thumb this article up!

I guess I'm 'that guy', but I've seen better photoshops in the comments section.

But if minimalist refers to effort put into it, then yes, you've achieved quite the minimalist post.

Also, the stretched comics in the back make it look bad.

So the actual poster wasn't minimalist enough for you?

This movie rocked! Much better than the crap-tacular Origins. Hugh Jackman was totally boss as Wolverine. The fight scenes were badass especially at the end with the Silver Samurai. The only weird thing about this movie is that I don't remember Wolverine fighting alongside some red-headed alien when he went to Japan.

The fight scene with Silver Samurai was EPIC! Not the one in the final scene, the son! "I'm the wolverine!" SHINT!

The movie was mediocre. Not bad but not great.

The covers are all stretched and aren't straight. And the claws on the "minimalist" part aren't straight.

I've seen better. But, keep working on it.

The hairstyle looks like it's from Origins, which was awful. And the stretching of the comics looks bad.

The Wolverine was solid movie. Not great but good. Imo this is possibly Hugh Jackmans best performance so far as Logan/Wolverine.

The Silver Samurai got the Deadpool treatment from Origins which is the ultimate screw job

Fast 6... Better than the Wolverine... Explain why Trav, 'cause I'm failing to see how.

What annoys me is you gotta use 3 comments and an essay to express your pov.

Politely summarize your pov here in the comments or create an article with your full review.

Or not.

Great job Marauder, I like that heaps!

This is one I threw together a while ago

Haven’t seen the movie yet... May wait for Blu-ray, not sure

Oh, and just a side note for the sake of it IMO the weapon x flash back Logan had in x1 (all few seconds worth of it) captured, so much more, the raw emotion, feeling and authenticity then Origins did by a long shot.. I could go on. If they ever do an R rated or MA15+ rated solo film for Mr Howlet in the future it would be awesome if they adapted and captured the true essence of what wolverine actually went through with the weapon x procedure.

Anyway, CorronZ out

Again… great pic!
