Hey guys, it's a been a few days since I've done any fan art and it's been a slow news day today so I figured I do up a couple to show you.

First I decided to do a retro-classic-comic poster for 'Man of Steel'. After that I decided to try my hand at doing a manip of Henry Cavill in the suit.

I'm thinking about adding a border to it and a few other details but this is the gist of it, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.



Don't be too harsh on me for this one, I'm not very experienced with doing manips like this one, in fact this is only the second one I've ever done so let me know what you think.

just so you know, you missed out part of the emblem on the poster, although I like the idea (it IS superman from the chin down right?)

Manip's ok, but it does look like his head is just cut and pasted on rouths body

The poster's pretty awesome, I dig it.
And the manip is pretty good, but for some reason Cavills head doesn't seem to fit in very well.
Overall, nice job.

Nice @Comedian!

Supes' build in the first one could be made more detailed/realistic, but overall cool concept!

As for the manip, should have used a shaved CAVILL instead, but that's cool, awesome background!

Keep it up!

And if you don't mind check mine as well...

Not bad for your second manip! Why don't you try using this head. i think it might go better. The lack of facial hair and more natural angle make it a better fit IMO.



Also maybe try using this Metroplois picture as a background and then just doing some color alterations to the whole thing to blend it.

I personally think all the artwork is fine and all but in my opinion there total cast is a huge mistake. i mean come on look at these pictures. Henry Cavill???? and also Amy Adams???? no... 175,000,000 dollar budget and they couldnt afford better actors???
