Alright, last time I asked you guys who would win a fight between Sherlock Holmes and Ozymandias. Now I want to ask you guys another one: who would win a fight between Jason Todd and Bucky Barnes?

Jason Todd
*Acrobatic and Martial Artist.
*Skilled in Hand-to-Hand combat.
*Skilled with weapons.
*Large variety of gadgets.
*Access to High-level Civilian and Military grade weapons.
*Skilled detective.
*Slightly insane due to his revival in the Lazarus Pit. (Thanks to Talia and Ra's al Ghual)

Bucky Barnes
*Master of Hand-to-hand combat.
*Skilled in use of Military weapons.
*Expert Assassin and Spy after becoming Winter Soldier(Against his will).
*Left arm is cybernetic, includes superhuman strength, quick reaction time, and able to discharge bolts of electrical energy and EMP.
*Now as Captain America, Bucky uses same shield and nearly-indestructible costume.
*Fluent in many languages.
*Was a Villian called the Winter Soldier for a while due to Brainwashing from the Soviets.


So who is the better fallen/revived sidekick?

I think you meant Bucky BARNES in the title, lol.

But I say Bucky, hands down. Anyone capable of filling the shoes of Captain America is capable of taking down a has-been Robin.

I have to say Jason Todd.

Mainly because of the following:

-He is trained by Batman, one of the top 10 fighters in DC comics.

-under Batman he has mastered countless forms of martial arts

-He went across the Multiverse with others trying to find Ray Palmer. in the process he fought countless versions of some of DC's most powerful characters, armed with a gun and a knife.

-He held Gotham single handedly in a reign of terror during the events after Bruce Wayne's death.

-Dick Grayson, the current Batman, could not beat him in combat.

It would be a good fight, but Todd's training would give him an edge.

i would have to say Bucky, but because of a bionic arm or an indestructible shield.
no, it's because he was trained by and then beat the crap out of the FIRST Captain America.

yes, Todd was trained by Batman, who has master over 127 styles of martial arts.
but to quote Spider-man on how Cap fights:
"I've seen him fight dozens of times, tried to study his moves-- but until this moment, I never realized-- there ARE no moves. It's all just ONE move, from start to finish. Smooth, quick, a ballet, deadly and fast. And powerful.... Everything's numb below the waist. He's hit me three times. I didn't get him once. Elapsed time----ten seconds."
now Spider-man is no pushover. with his enhanced speed, agility, and strength, not to mention his spider sense, Spidey is a force to be reckoned with.
but Cap is far older, and more powerful than he'll ever be in three lifetimes.
And Bucky managed to beat the crap out of Steve Rogers after a forty year deep freeze.
what does that tell you?

Okay, this is how it goes:

Sidekick Bucky vs. Robin 2.0 = Robin, duh.

Gun Totting Cap vs. Gun Totting Batman = Bucky, duh.

How about this: The fact that they brought both of these characters back almost around the same time shows a lack of imagination and originality on the part of both DC and Marvel. I say uncle Ben comes back on Easter Sunday and kills them both with a butter knife :-p

TheHawk, he was trained by batman you're right...The same Batman who admitted in a Marvel DC crossover that Cap would win in a fight between the 2. I'd say bucky hands down. Jason Todd is too anger driven, bucky is not only a more skilled fighter, but he is ALOT smarter than Todd, and much more levelheaded

Id say Bucky wins, but it would be the most equally matched fight of his life. Todd is like Batman but less calm and no morals. Ergo, he can kick some MAJOR ass. But Bucky just is so much more expirienced and more calculating.
