ukboy, Gears of War is a noob-fest game. Play L4D2 or Modern Warfare, that's where skilled shooters play (not so much in MW2). I'm not downing you, I have a friend who swears by Gears, in fact, if you are any good at Gears, you've ran into Cadillac1982 on Xbox Live. Post your Gamertag and maybe we can game up.

Awesome @Ozy!!! When we talked about this 6 monthes ago I always said that Worthington would rule as Jack!!! The only one I don't like is Ryan... The only one who could play him is his voice actor... but thats just my opinion... You should do BioShock 2 after that comes out. Feburary 9th can't get here any sooner!!!

myth@ no worries, trust me i love modern warfare 2 and 1 and l4d but id love to see a gears movie, nobfest or not it could be epic in the right hands, i haven't been online for a long time, getting my broadband back in may, so ill post my tag and we can hook up.

UKboy, I think the first Gears would make an outstanding movie. I loved the campaign for it, but the 2nd one was horrid. I had assumed while playing the first that the conflict took place on a future Earth, than have that crushed with some crap planet called Serra(spelling?) where evolution somehow paralleled Earth's enough to recreate Humans... biggest story downfall of the franchise to me. My friend mentioned above loves it so much he reads all the comics and novels too. I know that Fenix' mother is the Locust Queen and all sorts of garbage. A movie that followed the L4D story would be [frick]in crazy while MW campaigns could be translated as is and be mind-blowing.

TheCritic17, Yeah I liked the first Gears, it was an awesome campaign and fresh take on shooter's, but the multi-player has always lacked. When I put a bullet from my lancer into some scrub's dome, I want him to fall dead from the head-shot, but that is never the case, and that active reload crap... I don't care how fast you load your gun, it doesn't mysteriously up the powder count of the shells. Gears 2 just had a terrible story and a worse multi-player. I compare Gears to Halo, and the main difference between those 2 and other online shooters is realism. In those 2, head shots don't really work and it take whole clips of ammo to bring down your opponent in many cases (unless you wield Sniper weapons)

LEEE, I'm just sick of seeing Worthington in fan-cast's PERIOD. I am going to see Avatar in a few hours, but right now, all I have to judge his acting ability is that wretched performance in Salvation. That whole movie was shitty, but he did not help it at all with his nationality-confusion and totally transparent aggression. He does handle the action itself well however so I'll give him room to grow. I figure between Terminator, Avatar, and Clash of the Titans, we will know the true capacity of this guy. Thus far however, he has not impressed me.
