Listen, I think Robert Downey Jr. and all of the cast are perfect for there characters. Literally. This is really if anything, just for fun.
Jason Behr as Tony Stark/Iron Man
Jason Behr is a really good actor (I think), and to be really quite honest, would make a perfect Tony Stark. If Robert Downey Jr. left the franchise (god I hope that never happens), Jason Behr would be my pick for a replacement. So there you have it, Jason Behr would play Tony Stark in my very own Marvel universe!
Bryce Dallas Howard as Pepper Potts
Hey, it can work perfectly. She has the look, she is a good actress, but sadly she is under used. You have to admit as well, she could be a badass if she wanted and her and Jason Behr could probably make a "cute" couple on film.
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger
The villain, or main villain, should obviously be one that is similar to Iron Man since this is an origin film. So, I decided to cast Philip Seymour Hoffman as Obadiah Stane. He can maintain being a badass while at the same time play a pretty easy going character, like Obadiah.
Derek Luke as James "Rhodey" Rhodes
Derek Luke is one of the best African American actors working today, in my mind at least. Luke would make a great Rhodes, brilliant even. Actually, I wish that Luke was the replacement for Terrence Howard, even though I like Don Cheadle.
Jim Broadbent as Edwin Jarvis
The resemblance is uncanny!
Elisha Cuthbert as Janice Cord
Many of you probably have no clue who Janice Cord is, Janice was an old girlfriend of Tony Stark's in the comics and was the daughter of Drexel Cord, a business rival of Stark. Well I put her in so that Stark could have another woman in his life, because that is what Tony likes best, and so there is the love triangle of the film, Tony/Pepper/Janice.
William Fichtner as Drexel Cord
You all now know who Drexel is, because I basically told you up above. Well, my idea is that Drexel, who is being defeated by Stark's company, decides to help Obadiah, who wants Drexel to help him create the Iron Monger suit. Also, in the comics, Drexel created a robot called The Demolisher that was an enemy of Stark's. He is also present for the end battle, but I decided to change it up and have Drexel turn Luther Manning into a cyborg... Deathlok the Demolisher.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Luther Lanning/Deathlok the Demolisher
Jeffey Dean Morgan is badass in Watchmen, no doubt about it. The fact is, I really can see him playing Deathlok easily. Now you might be thinking, oh man he should be Tony! Well, he just looks too old in my opinion... sorry!
George Eads as Happy Hogan
How could anyone not like this one?
Tadanobu Asano as Ho Yinsen
Not bad, huh? I know that Yinsen in the comics is older but it really makes no difference to make him younger.
Chow-Yun Fat as Wong-Chu
This is also pretty good, right?
Elias Koteas as Agent Lindsay
In the comics, Agent Lindsay worked for S.H.I.L.D and helped Nick Fury and Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross get The Hulk. He plays a cameo setting up S.H.I.E.L.D and The Incredible Hulk.
Kurt Russell as Nick Fury
Its a cameo! Got a problem with that?
What do you guys think?
