I'm somewhat disgusted by all the little fanboys going online and making comments suggesting the actress playing catwoman is fat. Very juvenile. How about commenting without making it so personal. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face then don't put it out there on the net while hiding behind your computer screen. I didn't care for it. I thought it poorly edited and the acting not that good but I applaud the effort.

All these comic book fans took the time to rip on my short. A FAN FILM NOT some big budget Hollywood flick.

I'm sure you could've gotten any community college or local theater actors to do this movie for free for exposure and had your pick of someone who looked the part of Selina Kyle and was a better actor than the one who played Harvey Bullock. A lot of people are ripping on your Catwoman for her weight and unfortunately, we have high expectations on what she should look like based on comic books and past actresses. She's a beautiful woman, no doubt about that, just not up to snuff with regards to something like this.

As far as costumes, they were kind of goofy looking and took me out of the experience completely. Go to a thrift store and get creative when throwing a costume together. Concentrate on textures and the way things will look when filmed. As far as the fight scenes, you should get some action movies and look at the way they're shot and edited. DOn't be afraid to borrow stuff from those movies to make your fights look more convincing.

Also, get some help with your writing. Most of the dialogue is kind of unnatural and a little cringe worthy. Try running it past someone and be tolerant of outside opinions...Hopefully you talk to someone honest and not someone who's going to just tell you what you want to hear.

It was a good effort but it doesn't seem like you tried to put your best into it, especially if your aim is to become a director. If this is just for fun? Then do your thing. Just remember that you submitted it on a comic book movie website and stuff like this will be scrutinized. You need to learn to handle criticism coming from strangers. Also, it doesn't help your case when you block people from leaving critical comments on your youtube page and ONLY allow people who give you praise. It's misleading.

Hopefully you took what I said as constructive. I enjoy fanfilms. If this is going to be a series, I'll watch, I just hope you challenge yourself to step your game up.
