Before I begin I would like to say that while this video is 5 years old, nothing about this video has been posted about on this site yet. In 2007, Miguel Mesas directed a fan made adaption of Grant Morrison's masterpiece Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth. The story takes place on April 1st, also known as April Fool’s Day, and the Asylum is taking over by the Joker and other inmates. Throughout the enter day, Joker has been making demands with the police and promises not to kill the hostages if his demands are meant. The Joker has one final demand; for Batman to join him and the rest of the inmates in Arkham. Batman does. The graphic novel also shows the history and background of the infamous Asylum. The novel is one of the best Batman graphic novels of all time. Part of the graphic novel was used in the hit video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Heath Ledger also read the novel in preparing for his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight. This fan made trailer is by far one the best fan made videos, in my opinion, on any novel. It holds true to the characters, tone, and emotions. It’s like if Guillermo del Toro or Zack Snyder directed this. Music from the trailer comes from Tim Burton’s classics A Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman Returns. Take a look at the video for yourselves.

So what are your thoughts? Do you think the trailer is epic or fall short? Comment below. Peace.

I'm writing a screenplay based off of the novel and the video-game. Arkham Asylum needs to be on the silver screen.

Guys, get together, collaborate, make it awesome, keep it under your hats, join the writers guild, get an agent and sell it to WB. If it's good enough, they'll make it. That simple. They obviously have no idea what they are doing with Batman next. Nolan's really screwed them up the ass with his ending to TDKR, so DO IT!
On behalf of all true Batman fans, this movie NEEDS to happen. It would be so sweet. Post some sample pages and I'm sure we'll all be happy to critique you, so you can gauge how well you're doing. But no more tha sample pages or you'll ruin your chance of a sale to WB.
Seriously guys, put your heads together. Score a clean half-mill.

Couldn't see anything in that trailer, all just shadows and darkness.
