FAN MADE: Favorable Sequel Titles For Thor, Captain America And The Avengers!

Although only Thor's sequel has a release date, we're sure to see 2nd installments for Captain America & The Avengers. So I've come up with a few potential movie titles. check 'em out

I haven't done much fan-fic lately, considering all the news we're getting these days involving Marvel Studios' upcoming slate. Anyhow, while there's already sequel "talk" for both of the studios' 2011 blockbusters, Captain America: TFA and Thor, I've taken liberty of coming up with a few favorable titles; based on what we know about the story. Also, with The Avengers gearing up for release in seven months, I've also included a couple titles for it's guaranteed sequel.



Besides boredom, my essential reason for creating the above image was because I was hoping Marvel Studios wouldn't stick the number '2' on the end of their sequels' titles. Unlike the Iron Man franchise, which I find it oddly acceptable, I think the other sequels have such great potential for subtitles, considering the various titles from the comics. But that's just my opinion.

Ehh, don't like the Cap titles. The "First Avenger" thing worked great for the first film, but not for sequels

Captain America: Man Out of Time or The Living Legend: Captain America for a Cap sequel.

As for Thor, I really like Journey Into Mystery. The Mighty Thor would work well also though.

Most Likely It will be THOR 2 & CAPTAIN AMERICA 2.

After all, we do have the Ironman 2 title as the sequel to Ironman and if there is to be an Incredible Hulk sequel it would be Incredible Hulk 2. Now as far as the sequel to Avengers...well, I think a different title would be good...or simply 'Avengers 2'.

Great idea for titles though!

First of all, it SHOULD be: "Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty"

Second of all, I rather like adding the "Journey into Mystery" subtitle for Thor 2. Good choice.

How about "Captain America: War Has Just Begun"? As for "Thor", I really liked "Thor: Journey into Mystery". I don't care for either "Avengers" titles. I prefer "Avenger: Reassembled". I like stuff like this over just throwing a number after the title, though. I really wish that "Iron Man 2" had been called "The Invincible Iron Man" or something like that.

the mighty thor

captain america sentinel of liberty

the avengers 2 enter the vision

the avengers 2 conquer of earth

the avengers earths mightiest heroes

the mighty avengers

the new avengers

thor2 could just be: THOR II, but i wouldnt mind "journey into mystery"
thor3: The Mighty THOR
ironman3: The Invincible Iron Man
avengers2: ehh not sure, but avengers 3 should be "Earths Mightiest Heroes

or, for the cap and avengers sequels add the 2 and 3 after 'captain america', 'avengers' then the subtitle and for thor you could do THOR II:journey into mystery

I don't really like any of those Captain America suggestions, but I do like the title, "Captain America and the Winter Soldier" or "Captain America: Winter Soldier" or something along those lines. That isn't an original idea of mine, by the way. I stole that from other people on this site. If they called it "Captain America 2", I will be extremely dissapointed, but I'll live.

As for Thor, I like "Thor: Journey into Mystery". I think "Thor: The God of Thunder" or "The Mighty Thor" would work well, too. I wouldn't mind Thor 2, but I would think they would have missed out on a good title.

The Avengers, on the other hand, wouldn't bother me at all if it was just the "Avengers 2". In fact, I like it best that way. Same with the unmentioned Ironman franchise.

The worst one there is "Thor: Thunderer of Asgard". I am sorry, but that makes me snicker out loud. The "Forever the First Avenger" is pretty bad as well.

For Cap, I'd like one of the following...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Captain America: Sentinel Of Liberty
Captain America: The Living Legend

For Thor:

Thor: Journey Into Mystery
Thor: Legends Of Asgard
Though I'm sure Thor 2 will be the final title.

For Avengers...I have no idea. :P Like golden123 said, The Avengers 2 is fine with me.

I think that they will go for a more of the ultimates version of cap so I say:
Captain America: Agent of Shield

Anything besides The Mighty Thor would be weird. Simple and to the point.

For Captain America, it should be Sentinal of Liberty.
For Thor, it should be Journey into Mystery.
For Avengers, it should be just the generic Avengers 2 title since Earth's Mightiest Heroes is already taken.
