First off, I know that the probability of this film are unlikely. This is just for fun. And if this were to actually happen, Uwe Boll will direct this . . . when hell freezes over (he is essentially the modern Ed Wood).
Task Force 141:
Ewan McGregor as Captain "Soap" MacTavish: A former member of the SAS, now a field commander in Task Force 141.
Reason for Casting: Ewan was the first person I thought of when casting Soap. He's a fantastic actor and (personally) the only person I think who is fit to wear Ghost's Mohawk of Epicness.
Clive Owen as Captain Jonathan Price: A former SAS and Soap's mentor, who has spent five years in a russian gulag for unknown reasons.
Reason for Casting: I almost cast Christopher Eccleston, but I the remembered Clive. He's a brilliant actor and his performance in "Closer" impressed me. In the movie, Price's funky mustache will be replaced by a five o'clock shadow.
Sam Worthington as Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson: A member of Task Force 141 and Ghost's friend.
Reason for Casting: He was pretty good in "Avatar".
Karl Urban as Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley: Another member of Task Force 141, who gets his nickname from the mask.
Reason for Casting: I casted him after seeing "The Bourne Supremacy".
Joseph Gordon Levitt as Private First Class Joseph Allen: A new member of Task Force 141, who goes undercover in Vladimir Makarov's terrorist cell. However, Makarov knew of Allen's identity from the beginning. He shoots him dead and leaves his body as a catalyst for a Russian invasion of America.
Reason for Casting: Levitt is a good actor and made up for "GI Joe" in "Inception".
U.S. Army Rangers:
Dennis Haysbert as Seargant Foley: A soldier who served with Joseph Allen in Iraq, now fighting off the Russian Invasion with his squad.
Reason for Casting: It was mainly Haysbert's role on "The Unit" that convinced me to cast him.
Jeremy Renner as Corporal Dunn: Foley's second-in-command, who also served with Allen in Iraq.
Reason for Casting: Excellent actor, brilliant in "The Hurt Locker" and "The Town".
Michael Peña as Private James Ramirez: Joseph Allen's replacement after he joins Task Force 141.
Reason for Casting: I casted him after seeing "Shooter".
Villains:
Liev Schreiber as Vladimir Makarov: A wanted Russian terrorist and Ultranationalist leader.
Reason for Casting: Schreiber was probably one of the good things about "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". He proved he could be brilliant as a villain.
Jeff Bridges as General Shepard: The head of Task Force 141, who lost 30,000 men when terrorist Khaled Al-Asad set off a nuclear bomb. He later betrays Task Force 141 as revenge for the lost lifes of his men.
Reason for Casting: Jeff is an overall brilliant actor and proved he can play a villain in "Iron Man".
