So i've decided to do a daredevil cast with just the basics mind you, but i'd love to see this done right under Marvel with maybe David Fincher taking a crack at it. I think he can get it to Matt's gritty noir-ish roots. Though I don't want this to be another origin story, i'd prefer for Matt to be an established vigilante already cleaning up crime in hells Kitchen blah blah...honestly like others I didn't enjoy the original film but Matt can be redeemed and a daredevil movie can be amazing if done right. Anyways like I said I think it would be great if the film had a noir feel to it, hints of mystery and throw in some sick martial arts and gritty drama and we can get a winner from this.

Sam Witwer is Matt Murdock/Daredevil
I was thinking long and hard about who could be an established but still young Matt, and for me Witwer is not only perfect for that, but perfect period. The dudes a talented man, and from his performance as Starkiller alone he would make a remarkable Daredevil.



Jean Claude Van-Damme is Battlin' Jack Murdock
How awesome would this be? I mean Jean Claude has faded out of the spotlight but theres no doubt he's a popular dude, and even though this would be a bit role, it'd be awesome to see Van-Damme as Murdock. It would be epicness in the highest degree, imo.


Scott Glenn is Stick
Now im actually surprised no one's suggested Glenn for Stick before, but after recently watching him in Sucker Punch I thought that this would be so perfect its not even funny. From his overall look to his voice even the dudes got it!


Jason Segel is Foggy Nelson
Jason just owns this part, seriously. He would own as the partial comedic relief as well as the down to the earth best friend to Matt. It would be cool to see him and Murdock fighting for cases seeing as how Foggys as good a lawyer as Matt himself.


Zooey Deschanel is Karen Page
For Karen I needed an actress who could be sweet and loving and snap to the dangerous side. Drug addiction, pornography she needs to be the light and the dark at the flip of a coin as well as have just the right look. Zooey can be all these things, and im sure she'd kill on-screen with the correct writing.


John C. McGinley is Ben Urich
Urich is a cool character, an investigator who deduces Daredevils identity on his own. He needs to be able to be someone who can give advice, but feel like he can backstab you at any time. Just from Scrubs I know McGinley can pull this off with ease, plus it helps he looks the part.


Julia Voth is Elektra
Now Julia was just plain-old badass in Bitch-Slap, she has what it takes to be the Violent Greek. Im certain she can handle the dark, violent Miller Elektra and be Matts love interest at the same time.


Gaspard Ulliel is Bullseye
Bullseyes an underrated character who deserves justice on-screen. He needs to be played by someone with a definite charisma but that can snap into insanity and wickedness in the next second. Gaspard, most famous for being the young hannibal Lector in Hannibal rising, can be just that.


Vincent D'Onofrio is Kingpin
Now I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect Kingpin for my Spidey cast I did a while back, and it just came to me, that Vincent would be absolutely perfect as Fisk. The dude's such a great actor that I can imagine he'd steal the show, plus standing at 6'5 the dudes imposing as hell. Even then i'd imagine he'd be given a fat-muscle suit and lifts to be more imposing.


Bret Harrison is Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Now im a HUGE fan of Reaper and if you've seen the show then you know Bret can be everything Peter is, Loyal, Geeky, Moral, Witty, Caring you name it, he can do it. He's absolutely perfect for Peter in my eyes.


Bruce Campbell is J. Jonah Jameson
Now alot of you would say no one can replace J.K. Simmons but if anyone could, its Bruce. I love the Evil Dead series and Bruce too, and im sure he would be perfect as JJJ, and have good chemistry with Peter and Ben Urich.


Aaron Paul is Eddie Brock
Aaron is a fascinating actor. He can be funny or dead-serious and could probably make you believe that a pie got shot. Thats how good he is. I'd imagine Eddie would make a cameo along with Peter, and as far as characterization he'd be more of a tortured soul, but not sympathetic.


Christopher Meloni is Frank Castle
I've been vouching for Meloni for years now, and if Frank is ever recast then Chris is the guy for the job.


Jensen Ackles is Wade Wilson/Deadpool
I like Ryan Reynolds and everything but he's kinda overkill now. Anyways Jensens always been my pick for Deadpool, he practically plays it on Supernatural where he's already an asshole, and alot of deadpools humor is channelled on Supernatural, see the 'im batman' clip on youtube.

Ackles as DP lol that could work but your Venom pick is kinda puny looking. Good cast though Witwer's a pretty original pick and a good just dye his hair. Nice punisher pick, ok spidey pick seen better. But great cast over all, thumbs up.

Pretty nice cast, not a fan of ur DD pick admittedly but Jensen Ackles as Deadpool is cool, I could really c that happening, hell Jensen would also b good 4 Hal... Still nice stuff man!

Sam Witwer as Daredevil, I don't know a whole lot about him, he's pretty much an unknown to me, that could work, but Witwer he would have to dye his hair red in order to make a believable Matt Murdock/Daredevil. But still decent pick.

How about Jensen Ackles for Daredevil/Matt Murdock?

Jean Claude Van Damme as Battlin' Jack Murdock, great pick, the only problem I have with Van Damme is his Belgian accent, if only he could do an American accent, he would be perfect, but nonetheless great pick

Great Stick pick and great Foggy picks, I can really see it now, now that I think about it

Great Karen Page pick along with your Ben Urich

How about Eliza Dushku or Jordana Brewster as Elektra?

Awesome pick for Bullseye, Ulliel all he would have to do is shave his head completely bald like how Colin Farrell did when he played Bullseye, and he would make one menacing Bullseye

Kingpin I see James Gandolfini as Wilson Fisk, he would be more believable, but D'Onofrio not a bad pick at all as Kingpin, all he would have to do is shave his head completely bald to the bone

Great Spidey pick along with your Venom and Punisher picks and J. Jonah Jameson great pick

For Deadpool/Wade Wilson, how about Matthew Fox?

Overall great cast man, I love it, not too shabby either

Wow, nice screen name. I can't wait for Duke Nukem: Forever. Tuesday = D(uke)-day. I'm also getting the Transformers 3 video game as well (it's gotta be better than the movie).

- Sam Witwer may work as DD. I don't know him well enough besides the fact that he played Doomsday on Smallville and Aiden on Being Guman. But hey, you got someone who's only one inch taller than the comic book character, that's fine enough. It's better than Josh Duhamel, who's somewhat moved away from dark stuff.
- Jean Claude Van Damme rocks.
- Yeah, Scott Glenn reminded me of Stick when I saw him in the trailers of Sucker Punch.
- I wouldn't be against Peter Segal as Foggy Nelson. The guy's a funny mofo.
- I guess Zooey would work as Karen Page. Thing is, she's more of a quirky actress than a dramatic one (The Happening pretty much proved it). I think she'd be superior as Typhoid Mary at least based on her talents.
- Gotta love John C. McGinley, bro. But I don't know if Ben Urich is in his range.
- Julia is HOT! And so is that pic you used. And seeing as she knows martial arts, and is tall enough, I'll cosign to that pick.
- I don't know much about Gaspard Ulliel besides him playing Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising. But if he can speak with an American accent, I'll definitely back him as Bullseye.
- Vincent D'Onofrio, Clancey Brown, and John Carroll Lynch are the prime choices in playing Kingpin. Any of them will do.
- Adam Brody strikes me as an adult Peter Parker based on his performance as Seth Cohen on The O.C.. Not that I have any problems with Bret as Spidey.
- Bruce Campbell is definitely a strong choice for J. Jonah Jameson.
- How about Chris Carmack as Eddie Brock. I saw Aaron Paul casted on some message board, and maybe he could work, but I want someone a little taller and bulkier.
- Chris Meloni as the Punisher = WIN!
- I'm praying to God that Ryan Reynolds gets off his ass and does Deadpool. He's pretty much the only guy who has knowledge of the character. But Jensen Ackles would be a good replacement, seeing as he's funny as hell on Supernatural.
