Ghostbusters: Protocol (List Of Episodes 1-5)

I have had an idea my whole life for a proposed Ghostbusters Series, "Ghostbusters: Protocol" is either an animated or live action series, which ties together all of continuity. Now I am sharing my ideas to all of you, by re-typing my own partial descriptions based on old and new notes I've collected in contrast to my own plot elements. Hope you all like it!

My entire life, I've always had my own ideas for Ghostbusters stories and continuations, eventually, growing up I would write out the stories, collecting many ideas over time. If something new came out, I would update my stories with the continuity, even as recent as the events played out in the recent video game and beyond. I base my series around the impending arrival and subsequent events of Ghostbusters III. My series, if it were to happen, would take place after it.

I understand the plots here may have holes and errors, but these are my extended descriptions of the first five 'episodes' thus far. I included a lot of action by the Extreme Ghostbusters crew, as they are the new active "veteran" team on the Ghostbusters force of active crew members. The original Ghostbusters are still around, coaching, teaching, tinkering with new equipment, offering new advice, etc. and they even get caught up in the story lines from time to time, getting trapped by powerful ghosts, etc. Speaking of ghosts, the main super villain of the ghosts in the series is Gozo, the son of Gozer, which was actually used once in an issue of the comics. I thought he was a brilliant character who deserved much more of a back story and some power in the series.

So, without further introduction, here are the descriptions of the first five episodes of my Ghostbusters animated (also live action if possible, but not as likely) pitch, entitled, Ghostbusters: Protocol.

101. Pilot - The Ghostbusters have a booming franchise, one that's been built over many generations, with both veterans and rookies alike, all having faced the worlds greatest paranormal threats to mankind. All the while, they've proven ready to team up and face new threats with generations of experience and one bold step to better serve the citizens from Manhattan. However, as they get the jobs done far too quick and far too easily, business quickly begins to lose it's steam. It's never fun to get too far ahead of the game, but something is on the horizon, as the arrival of Gozo, son of Gozer, is planning something bigger, stronger, and more powerful then his predecessor.. Meanwhile, The Ghostbusters, start to become aware of the impending arrival of something big, yet without a clue, they have yet to encounter any Gozo related attacks, but while preparing recollections of recent events from small case clients, they discover the series of events are all pointing in the same direction, these events all lead to something about to occur in Central Park, and it all begins to point to something with Ivo Shandor. Has The Architect returned? With strangely designed objects and monuments showing up all over town, it would appear so.. So, Who you gonna call? The Ghostbusters are ready to believe you.. and waiting!

102. Marshmallow Squared - On the way to investigate a sweep of this strange section of the park, the Ghsotbusters are quickly finding themselves on a detour en route to the investigation, as they are under attack by a very familiar foe. Something large, something bright, something towering and white! It's a blast from the past, and suddenly the Ghostbusters are under attack from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and are required to quickly get back to the firehouse and find a way to summon the postively charged Stay Puft before lower Manhattan gets remodeled the hard way! Will they have enough time to fight the Third Coming of Gozer, who have just arrived in the same menacing form as their newly reformed friend? In a battle of the sweet sugary bulge, which delightful treat will emerge victorious? Can the Ghostbusters find a way to help their marshmallowy friend overcome the re-emergence of the destroyer of worlds? How does something so big and uncontrollable to begin with, stop something that's a very mirror of it's own being? With help from Garrett Miller, an original member of the Extreme Ghostbusters team, who brought reinforcements in the form of the Ecto-2, which is now equipped with a powerful air shock enhanced turret with a variation of the Shock Blast and Boson Dart blended into one powerful blast, Stay Puft is able to knock a big gooey punch right through Gozer-Puft's face, as the rest of his body tumbles down to the streets below as passers by cheer from openings of storefronts below and Garrett gives them the thumbs up and drives back to the firehouse safely while leading Stay Puft to the containment unit willingly without any significant damage to himself nor the flying vehicle.

103. See No Ivo Pt. 1 - After another monumental victory against Gozer, the Ghostbusters send some veterans with a few younger team members to finally investigate the strange occurrences at Central Park once and for all. When they arrive, things seem very unfamiliar, more specifically, everything seems out of place. Places and objects have appeared that have never been seen before, and look way beyond centuries old. A strange stone garden which lies beyond a very mysterious statue seems to have appeared out of nowhere, and the air, like the plot, begins to thicken. The problem here? It's one strange piece of land, and this particular statue they pass bears a very obscure resemblance to Ivo Shandor! Once inside, the four corners of the garden flow fountains of Pink, Green, Yellow, and Blue slime, all of which were encountered by the Ghostbusters the last time they ended up in battle with Shandor, and these fountains are leading to a much bigger statuesque fountain of Black slime, which is surrounding a strange mausoleum like building, and suddenly, two blinding lights appear to glow on a face embedded in the door of this building, Oscar tries to blast it, but the lights just double and triple with each blast until the light just vaporizes, and suddenly, the three Ghostbusters veterans and Oscar disappear and stone images appear above the four fountains that strangely look like twisted versions of them. An even stranger fact is that each statue is now possessing glowing blue gems for eyes. Could they be trapped in another dimension or form? If so, who is responsible? So, why is the gate suddenly open in the center of this etherreal stone garden? After the immediate disappearance of three original Ghostbusters (Winston, Ray, and Egon), as well as Oscar, Kylie Griffin rushes back to the firehouse with the remaining recruits and decides, along with an equally concerned Janine and Dana, that she must regroup with her original Extreme Ghostbusters class and crew, so she takes Louis Tully along for the ride to regroup and gather up the guys from the nearby franchise Ghostbusters branch where they are working on an experimental equipment upgrade for the Stasis Stream and Shock Blast, which is currently being presented to he newest recruits there by Roland, who has been Egon's first young apprentice for equipment and technology upgrades and improvements.

104. Hear No Ivo Pt. 2 - When Kylie and Louis arrive, they see danger in the roads ahead as the sight of strange colors fill the sky and black ink-like formations move over the park. The sun is beginning to boil bright and hot, and at the same time it begins to hail, enormous, golf-sized ectoplasmic hail. It's a good thing that the Ectomobile has the 'Ecto-Solar' reverse energy reflection system recently installed, because it shields the path of Ectomobile so they make it to the safehouse without any other issues. It is really something that was one of the first the compliments of an Egon and Roland collaboration. Luckily they reach the team in time, even with the roadside diversion, they rush back to the firehouse, and in a moment of shock, awe, and pure terror, the entire firehouse has become a giant stone monument of it's former self.. with everyone still trapped inside! A voice then beams through the air like thunder, and it lets out a menacing howl-like warning, "See No Ivo, Hear No Ivo, Speak No Ivo, for it is Shandor's Prophecy that will be fulfilled!" It's a good thing Roland and Garrett decided to remember the new experimental stasis packs from the earlier given demonstration, as with the message to heed was told, they knew once again they could fulfill the Ghostbusters prophesy once they arrive at the Stone Garden to exclaim come to see, hear, speak, and kick some.. well, you get it. The stone garden is now much different then right before when Kylie saw it, as it is now covered in jet black rose vines and web covered moss, they are greeted with the feeling they are put this new technology to the test!

105. Speak No Ivo Pt. 3 - Once inside the doors, there is immediately a sand covered path that gets deeper and thicker as the Ghostbusters go. Finally, the sand, after growing steeper and steeper, gives way as they slide into a temple entrance. There inside the room leading to the temple is a series of glyphs, stone etched runes which form many steps, and glass engraved doors, so without hesitation, Kylie, Roland, and Eduardo enter. Garrett and Louis stay at the bottom of the stairs to guard the area as a lookout to assist the team's safety. Once inside, a trap is revealed to them as the door seals itself and is covered with a green slime coating. This prompts a frustrated Louis to exclaim, "Not Again!", referring to the time when the Ghostbusters were trapped by Vigo the Carpathian, while inside the Museum of Natural History, and the outside was covered in a hard and unbreakable, negatively charged Pink Slime mold. Garrett then grows frustrated himself, and proceeds to try and blast the Green Slime mold, unfortunately, nothing happens, and Louis says to him, "Save the juice, I tried this before." Back inside, the three Extreme Ghostbusters are greeted with Shandor's three protector guardians, which are three adult Slor and Ancient Rune Golem hybrids, which serve as guardians who were at one point special enforcers of both Gozer and Shandor himself at different periods in different worlds, and all three were given special abilities beyond the mightest of all Slors and Golems of their rulers' time periods. They reveal through their guilt of not being there to protect Shandor when he assumed his destructor form in the ghost realm and that they lured the Ghostbusters in to the makeshift temple as a trap and holding cell for Shandor to make it up to him, and that they must wait for his next arrival, or they would be forced to be destroyed if they take any action otherwise. The Ghostbusters immediately reject the idea, remembering the rules the guardians laid out to them, so with the stasis stream and shock blast, they attack each guardian's target point of guard. The first guardian they freeze blast his psychokinetic eye gems, the second they blast his ear gems off, and the third begins to breath fire, so they cross the stasis streams, and freeze blast his big stone head right off as his body is the last to fall in a path of rubble! Immediately following the last gem sets cooling of their power, a portal back to earth immediately opens up and the stairs lower into a flat path as the green slime mold breaks free and allow Garrett and Louis to enter. Upon walking through the portal they appear right back out from the original doors they entered and there, standing by each of the four fountains, are the three original Ghostbusters and Oscar, all confused and clueless as to what has happened, all agree with the others, that it's a long story best saved for the firehouse over dinner!

I know, it really seems they are in a hard place with a rock like mentality lately, and by that I mean it sucks that there are just as many re-creations as there are original things.. we need fresh ideas, hollywood needs fresh minds, some new blood, and there is plenty in the audience here that would do a killer job with it! haha
