SHOW SYNOPSIS:
Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American millionaire (later billionaire) playboy, industrialist, and philanthropist. Having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, he swore revenge on crime, an oath tempered with the greater ideal of justice. Wayne trains himself both physically and intellectually and dons a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime.Batman operates in the fictional American Gotham City, assisted by various supporting characters including his crime-fighting partner, Robin, his butler Alfred Pennyworth, the police commissioner Jim Gordon, and occasionally the heroine Batgirl. He fights an assortment of villains such as the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin, Two-Face, Poison Ivy and Catwoman. Unlike most superheroes, he does not possess any superpowers; he makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, martial arts skills, an indomitable will, fear, and intimidation in his continuous war on crime.
MAIN CAST:
BATMAN/BRUCE WAYNE:MATTHEW BOMER
Bomer has proven that he can portray dual identities on the show "White Collar." Bruce/Batman his ideal for Bomer because he can channel both characters while keeping the public clueless on his real identity.
VICKY VALE:LAURA PREPON
Trying to be original as I can be with this one, now granted she has done mostly comedy work but trying to stick with mainly T.V. actors for this series since that's where it will be. Laura has proven that she can be a serious and emotional actress when need be plus she is an actual red-head even though blonde right now lol. This role would be good for her to grow into and stretch her acting skills.
LT.COMMISSIONER GORDON:BRYAN CRANSTON
Cranston his Jim Gordon in the flesh right down to his look and attitude he his currently the voice of Gordon in Batman:Year One. He would just have to re-grow his hair in to look the part.
ALFRED:JOHN CLEESE
Alfred is the father figure/mentor to Bruce throughout the series and guiding light. John I fill would work well off of Bomer and prove for a great dynamic on the small screen. He was the first person I thought of when casting Alfred.
HARVEY DENT:JON HAMM
Hamm is a recurring edition on a lot of fancasts when it comes to Batman. A lot of people see him as Batman however I think he would be better suited for Harvey/Two-face he would bring depth and passion to this tragic character. Harvey and Bruce would start off as colleagues/best friends and then be torn apart by the increasing threat in Gotham.
SELENA KYLE:ELIZA DUSHKU
Dushku is a fan favorite for the role and I agree she has the dark character attributes as Selena does and would make for a formidable fighter against bomer.
HARVEY BULLOCK:JAMES GANDOLFINI
Gandolfini is perfect for Bullock he is used to crime shows having appeared in the Soprano's. Bullock is a tough and gritty character that would work well with his skill level.
RENEE MONTOYA:SARAH SHAHI
Again another reason while keeping with all mainstream tv actors the caliber of acting is great. Sarah would be great for Renee playing a gotham beat cop. Her and Gandolfini would be great partners.
Some Guest Starring Villains:
THE JOKER:BRENT SPINER
Yes its commander Data but come on if you think about it he would be great as the Joker and bring a new approach to it as well.
POISON IVY:ALYSSA MILANO
Posion Ivy would be a great return role for Alyssa to the CW network and attract former fans of Charmed.
THE RIDDLER:NEAL PATRICK HARRIS
He is a comic genius and would be a dynamic Riddler and give him a more real world approach instead of campy.
