I just thought this would be a bad ass group vs, even if Namor is in both of them. Just two old school three person superhero groups that kicked ass back in the day...

Defenders members: Namor, Dr. Strange, The Hulk

The origin of the Defenders:
the founding members gathered to battle the alien techno-wizard Yandroth, who had invented a machine that could set off nuclear stockpiles all over the planet, and remained as a team afterwards. Due to the popularity of their tryout in Marvel Feature, Marvel soon began publishing The Defenders.







Invaders members: Captain America, Namor, Human Touch "android"

The origin of the Invaders:
When these superheroes saved the life of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill from Master Man, the thankful Churchill suggested that they should become a team, known as the Invaders.

defenders win they've got the hulk.

they later get the silver surfer on the team.

yeah i think the defenders are a kick ass team, 2 of the most unstoppable hero's in marvel and the master of sorcery. and then later on the get SS, can anyone say Annihilators, im just saying

this match-up is just waaaayyyy too ridiculous. i mean, Cap, Namor and the android HT against Namor, a cosmic herald, a gamma-radiated giant AND the sorcerer supreme??? come onnnnn...it's a predictable quick and easy set of fights.

The Defenders, in terms of power, still to me has no equal. let's pit em against the best of the Avengers, shall we...

The Silver Surfer vs. Thor (a herald vs a god..i've always wanted to see this fight)
The Hulk vs. Wonder Man (i still think the Sentry is THE match for the green giant, but, this would be another interesting match)
Namor vs. The Hulk (i just couldn't think of any avenger who could match the atlantean in a drag down punching match-up..sides, the two've always hated each other)
Dr. Strange vs. Voodoo Strange (i think experience will play a major role in this, thus, stephen will wipe the floor with voodoo's hair).
