Hello everybody I'm Jacky Timish and this is a serious editorial from a seriously educated man like me. Hopefully my clever intro will remain "intact" this time.
Do you know what one of my favourite comic book characters is, he is The Punisher. Why, because he is simply awesome. Badass ex special forces solider beats down crime his own brutal methods and takes guts for glory, he is a true example of the ultimate anti hero. He has been represented in 3 different films which I find truly amazing, as much as Thomas Jane and Ray Stevenson defined the character for this decade I prefer Dolph Lundgrens own version of The Punisher. It was a specially well done stylized 80s film for me in terms brought new like to CBMs. Sadly the film is underrated as being brought down by many fans. For me this was The Punisher that showed an exact representation of who he was. One of the most amazing scenes in the film unlike any other in a Punisher film is we saw him head to toe against Samurai Swords. It was packed with more physical and bloody hand to hand combat than the later Punisher films which adopted a sort of run and gun action style. I will also give some credit due to The Punisher vs The Russian fight in the 2004 film. So with all these different interpretations on the character, where do you go next with his role?
The character of Frank Castle has underwent many changes throughout years. One of my ideas is in order for him to work around the Marvel Cinematic universe, introduce his character as a Shield Agent. Get rid of the whole Marine background and make him a Shield Agent to fit in more with the story. A veteran agent who lives up the ideals of America and is a great enthusiast of Captain America himself. He needs to be seen as a sort of Agent Coulson type character to begin with a second in line character to Nick Fury who has also served alongside him in many wars. In terms he is a sort of a brotherly character to Nick Fury. For how he becomes The Punisher, as his character slowly progresses through the story so does his personality. His character becomes stressed and under whelmed with pressure. Frank Castle now has nightmares of war and cruelty even being more effected with recent events as such the alien attack. He becomes a heavy drinker and a drunkard to try to escape this reality, but in truth is only hurting himself slowly. One day he goes too far by extremely violating Maria Hill personally and threatening to murder everyone aboard the Helicarrier. He takes a few more drinks and throws a grenade killing over 10 agents also shooting up the place too guns blazing. Before anyone including Nick Fury get's a hold of him he jumps off the Helicarrier. As he is falling to his death an inter dimensional portal opens below him sucking him in then disappearing. Here in this portal we meet a new character named The Dark Lord who controls the realm of darkness, a place much like hell but has a more mystified feel. The Dark Lord witnessed his cruel actions of terror and had a favor in store for him. He will save his life from falling to a horrible death with a price. He must become The Dark Lord's servant of darkness. A servant of pure hellish evil. He must become The Punisher. Frank Castle willingly accepts the deal, he thought he had escaped death but his first true nightmare has begun. He is received medieval styled armor and a black horse of vengeance. He dons a knight's helmet and bares a symbol on his chest plate representing true fear. Now he has been received instructions of cruelty, to rid the world of all heroes bringing down the entire planet with him.
He is an extremely dark character in nature so why not change him that ultimate personal threat to everyone, a hero turned villain more deadlier than we have ever seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now I am sure many of you are reading this and saying it's too dark. Having an extreme threat like this raises the levels higher. Even it also being a close friend of Nick Fury and a former Shield agent the stakes are more deadly as he has information to Shield. Even more so as The Dark Lord makes a pact with Loki. This new character The Dark Lord in simple terms is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's own Satan. It also paves the way for Ghost Rider and a possible return to his character from the previous film as in continuation of the story in Spirit of Vengeance. This is the kind of violent bloody story that would work within possible The Avengers 3.
Here is another few ideas that would work alongside it. You have Tony Stark confronting a new demon. Tony Stark gets possessed by the satanic force of The Dark Lord and is trying to resist his true inner genetic nature which it is soon revealed his father Howard Stark was a demon from The Dark Lord's own world and has slowly been infiltrating Earth with humanoid demon agents. Bruce Banner is given a dark past similar to the Ang Lee film but on steps more brutal. Banner has been bullied and violated by almost everyone and he is almost ready to fully let the Hulk take control of his entire body forever. Captain America is immune to many effects and he continues to fight on for justice, as his world is slowly falling apart so is technology today. We need to throw Captain America himself in the elements with nothing, hence this idea. We have a cute foray scene of Steve Rogers himself waking up in a barn in the middle of Arizona unclothed and bare. There he also wakes up next to a horse who also takes like of him. He also soon finds out he had a sensual moment with the horse last night but can't remember how it went down. Steve also finds a tool shed around the barn. He builds a wooden shield and guides his new partner a horse named Rosenbell. We see him take off unclothed in the night with his new shield and mighty horse Rosenbell to battle a mighty evil of force known as The Dark Lord Forces! Black Widow finds out Hawkeye has been cheating on her with a girl named Lisa and she goes separate ways from him. Hawkeye takes it personally from his own mistakes and is on a determined hunt to win her back in a possible future spy romance comedy flick, I'll explain in Part 2 next time.
We have Thor in Asgard, and this character The Dark Lord had been possessing everyone to do evil stuff. Odin becomes a zombified creature of the undead as for everyone else. Thor has no world to go back to seeing as how his own is now destroyed. The Dark Lord confronts him and says he will restore Asgard unless he gives him his life. Thor does so and everyone including Asgard is restored. Accept Thor who has now become The Demonic God of Thunder. As for Maria Hill she is deeply still embarrassed by the Frank Castle event and has continual nightmares about the perversion until he appears once again in human form in her mind. Maria is sent to a mental institution where she learns her true hatred for superheroes like the version in the comics. Once in she slowly develops to a sort of Joker style character becoming an extremely psychotic mess. Years later Steve Rogers and his horse Rosenbell come across the institute during their trek of justice. Rogers is captured by doctors working their and he is mistaken to be a crazy homeless man on a horse as no one recognizes him anymore. There during many months of physical experiments he comes across Maria Hill who has now become an icon to all the other patients of the mental institution. She now dawns white makeup and red marks similar to how the Joker looks. If you were wondering where Shield is it had been a span of over 10 years currently and the entire organization is on the brink of shutting down due to many foolish actions being made. Nick Fury has quit being director of Shield and in term has become a film actor starring in famous films like Pulp Fiction. In terms a movie within a movie is now in progress. Well we just have to wait in Part 2 as I have more brilliant ideas to come for The Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Well anyway what do you think so far? Do you think any of this has a possibility of working out? Please state in the comments below. I will return with a Part 2 catered to how reactions to this one goes. I will once again post music for you to listen to while you comment, it's optional but I believe it get's the mind going. I also favor that Skrillex should do a CBM score, sadly he did not get the Man of Steel gig but for possible future films like The Avengers 2?
Have a Bright (Beep) Sunny Day,
