Last Friday's battles:
Black Canary beats Black Widow 16-7, yes I do agree on this outcome. This time Canary will face yet another femme fatales and let's see how things go.

Lobo beat Wolverine 15-10, this is a battle that all the fans talk about but in all fairness Lobo outclasses Wolverine by a wide margin. This time Lobo will be given a opponent far tougher than Logan.

Sentry beat Supergirl 16-9, Sentry is crazy powerful. So this time I've given him someone on his own level.

As always put aside favoritism and be objective, vote for the guy you really think should win.

Black Canary vs Elektra

Canary wins.In a match with no knowledge Canary's scream is her secret weapon most opponents wont see coming.

Abomination vs Lobo

Abomination wins,Lobo's strength is to inconsistent to judge so I give it to the more consistent Abomination.

Martain Manhunter vs Sentry

J'on wins,telepathy is Sentry's kryptonite and J'on is one of the strongest telepaths there is in the DC universe.

I think Sentry's only real weakness is terrible writing, he's suffered a lot of that right up until they killed him.

BLACK CANARY vs ELEKTRA: Elektra
While Black Canary has the Canary Cry, Elektra has the Silent Scream that can pretty do the same as the CC. Plus she has hypnosis and moderate-level telekinesis/telepathy. Elektra has the edge.

Other than that, DC wins in the other 2 fights.

When I looked him up on marvel wiki it read"Psychic Assault: The Sentry has a fragile psyche and is readily susceptible to mental manipulation" and "Vast Psionic Abilities: The Sentry possesses powerful psychic and mental powers mainly used for holding his physical form together, (though it is not yet known whether the Sentry can use them the way Professor X and other psychics use theirs). The only psychic abilities he has displayed so far was implanting his memories inside Paul Jenkins' mind. The Sentry was able to erase himself from the memories of every being on the planet." well it's wiki so I don't know how much of it is true...well as true as one can get when talking about fictional chatacters.

Only comic I read on him is World War Hulk and in Ironman where Osborn sent Sentry after him.

Black Canary vs Elektra -- I'd call this match a draw if not for BC's super-scream.

Abomination vs Lobo -- gotta go Abomination on this one. Dude's got the strength of a savage Hulk. Lobo, I think our pollmaster is being generous giving him class 100 strength. Averaging it out, I'd put him closer to She-Hulk range (70-75 tons). At any rate, even if Lobo were class 100, Abbie's beyond that and, as a former soldier and spy, is an intelligent and skilled combatant. Lobo's hook likely won't even break Abbie's Hulk-like hide, and his blows will only piss Abbie off.

Martian Manhunter -- big MM fan but as I refuse to acknowledge the existence of The Sentry is the MU, I'm not voting on this one. :)

Unknown, all of that above is true. His Vast Psionic Abilitiesis what makes him invulnerable to psychic attack. He was easily manipulated, proven by Norman Osborn's control over him, but that completely different then being controlled telepathically.

Lol "Bendis-nite" I agree with you there, Sentry was one of the best concepts ever and he had so much potential but Bendis did a terrible job with him, they made him too much of a wackjob so we never got to see his full power. A sane Sentry at full power would blow everyone (including powerhouses like Superman, Thor and Silver Surfer) away. Like I said his real weakness is that he's got terrible writing.

I want to pick MM, but Sentry is ridiculous. I seriously hate this character. The worst in my book. The Void is such a joke. So he has this "alternate personality" fine okay, there are schizo's out there, but he posses powers the sentry doesn't have? Yeah Sentry is just ridiculous. I'm with LoudLon, not voting.

My issue with Sentry is the hoax behind his creation. Some call it clever; I call it writers desperate to come up with something "new" and I seriously despise when creators monkey with canon. I lump Sentry's creation with the egregious retconning done in The Clone Saga and all the monkeying with the time line in the X-men series.
