Marvel's Champions vs DC's Champions (Week 3: Round 2)

Captain America vs Deathstroke

This could go either way so I'll pick Cap.

Swampthing vs Manthing

Swampthing wins,Manthing only attacks bad guys so it's kind of a one sided fight.

Ms.Marvel vs Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman wins,this would be an epic battle but in the end Wonder Woman would win she can deflect her energy bolts,she's stronger then Ms.Mrvel,she the better fighter,and her muscles never tire so the longer this fight goes on the more likely Wonder Woman would come out victorious.

Actually the plan was to give Wonder Woman a heart attack.Which is odd seeing as her muscles don't produce fatigue toxins but her heart can fail.I guess that's comic book logic.

Heart attacks occur when the heart can't keep up with the body's blood flow needs. Fatigue toxins have nothing to do with it; they -- specificially, lactic acid -- is a byproduct of glucose being burned during muscular exertion which builds up faster than one's system can rid itself of it. That burn you feel when you're working out? That's lactic acid.

At any rate...

Cap vs Deathstroke -- I'll always vote for Cap in human-level fights. DS is enhanced in a lot of ways, but not in every conceivable way like Cap. I once commented that Black Panther is roughly 90% the specimen Cap is; I'd put DS at around 95%. Not a big difference, granted, but I still can't envision DS pulling out a victory here.

Swamp Thing vs Man-Thing -- the biggest difference between these two, aside from the fact that ST is intelligent and MT has only a functional level of conscious thought -- is that ST can control plant life; MT can't. And since MT's body consists of plant-life, it'd be a cinch for ST to simply will him to pieces.

Ms. Marvel vs Wonder Woman -- WW has the strength advantage but I give the edge to MM for her energy abilities. She can absorb pretty much any kind of energy to increase her strength and can create nuclear bomb-level blasts. WW's tough, but MM brings more to the table.
