First off I was a huge fan of the 3rd Transformers. However, after watching Transformers 2 I thought of an idea for a 3rd movie before Transformers 3 ever became official. Please enjoy and let me know what you think
Eighteen months following the events of Revenge of the Fallen. There has been no sign of Decepticon activity. Due to the pending threats, Optimus Prime and the Autobots agreed to share their weapon technology with NEST. Through gaining this technology, NEST has developed sub teams within its department. These teams similar to marines and navy seals specialize as combat units equipped with Autobot weaponry. This weaponry consists of battle suits, jets equipped with deep space and supersonic abilities, and piloted armored ground vehicle with ability to transform into robot mode. With these new abilities NEST has expanded setting up an additional command post on the east coast. Epps is placed in command at east coast NEST while Lennox commands west coast NEST. NEST has decided to split the Autobots into 2 teams. The west coast team Optimus Prime, Rachet, Skids, and Mudflap. East coast team Ironhide, Jolt, and Sideswipe. Skids and Mudflap have matured and are a combiner team making them relevant in combat.
Sam and Mikaela have taken the next step in their love story by tying the knot. Bumblebee continues to protect the happy couple in their new simple life on the east coast. Sam is struggling with responsibility of becoming a man and having a wife to take care of.
Since the events in Egypt Megatron has been reassembling the Decepticon army. This army would consist of Shockwave, Thundercraker, Skywarp, Astrotrain, Predacons, and Stunticons just to name a few. After discovering Cybertron is no longer an inhabitable planet the Quintessons and their leader Xitron come to Megatron. In their possession is Cyber Genesis project.
Cyber Genesis Project:
As the war of the transformers continued on the destruction of Cybertron was unavoidable. The Autobots used a hybrid version of Energon and found a way to transform a planet into Cybertron. This energy source was able to recreate the raw power and energy Cybertron possessed. They could only transform small segments of a planet at a time. With larger segments the energy became unstable causing the transformed segments to be hyperactive and dangerous. For this reason the Cyber Genesis project was placed into remission.
Xitron and Megatron come to an agreement. The Quintesson’s depleted forces are no match for NEST and the Autobots. Megatron agrees to use the Decepticon army to destroy their advisories allowing the Cyber Genesis weapon to be placed in the earth’s core. Once earth is transformed into Cybertron it would be Megatron’s to rule. The Deception’s plan a full scale battle to earth.
After receiving adequate training from the Autobots on combat the US government believes they are expendable. The order is given to have the Autobots frozen and placed in an underground bunker. Lennox and Epps fight the order but are threatened with their jobs if they do not cooperate. The government does not trust the Autobots due to their allegiance to Optimus Prime versus the President.
Before the Autobots are frozen the Decepticons unleash their full scale invasion. Targets include Washington DC (capturing the President), Pentagon, NEST East and West, among other major military bases. The Decepticons go after Sam who is saved by Bumblebee however Mikaela is captured. Upon attacking NEST bases Ironhide, Jolt, and Mudflap are killed. Earth’s defense systems are destroyed worldwide unable to amount any type of counter strike. Optimus Prime summands the Autobot army. This army would consist of over twenty Autobots (Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod, Aerialbots, Kup, Hound, Cliffjumper just to name a few) Prime also knows millions of years ago 5 Autobots landed on earth just before the All Spark crashed. After the All Spark crashed they were buried. The All Spark crash caused the dinosaur’s extinction and put earth in the ice age. These 5 Autobots were specialized in elite combat and are frozen somewhere in Vinson Massif mountain in Antarctica. Prime knows if he can find them they can he can destroy the Decepticons for good. The new army split into teams. Team one led my Lennox and Silverbolt travel to Antarctica to resurrect the Dinobots. Team two lead by Prime and Ultra Magnus travels to the Decepticon base near the Great Wall of China to rescue the human prisoners. Using the Cyber Genesis the Decepticons have transformed terrain in China to resemble Cybertron. Team three is to stay at the current West Coast NEST base and round up survivors from the attacks.
Megatron and Xitron discover the Autobots activity. They send a Decepticon team led by the Predacons to destroy the Dinobots. A team lead by Soundwave is sent to the Autobot base while Megatron waits for Optimus Prime and the Autobots to rescue the prisoners. Epic battles take place as the Dinobots are resurrected and the Autobots are able to rescue the prisoners. At the Autobot base Soundwave is captured. His memory cortex is dissected out allowing the Autobots to discover the Decepticon’s plan.
Following Megatron’s failure to prevent the human prisoners escape Xitron takes Starscream off to the side. He explains to Starscream that he understands his frustrations to become the Decepticon leader. Xitron expresses his desire for Megatron to be overthrown making room for Starscream. This takes place and Megatron is cast out from the Deception ranks leaving Starscream in charge. In truth Xitron feels it will be easier to dispose of the weaker Starscream compared to the powerful Megatron.
In a final epic battle the Autobots square off against the Decepticons to prevent the Cyber Genesis from reaching earth’s core. In the sequence of this battle Megatron reappears vengefully destroying Starscream once and for all. Grimlock, Optimus Prime, and Ultra Magnus form the ultimate team taking down Megatron and Xitron. The Decepticons and Quintessons are destroyed saving earth.
This is a very brief overview of the story. I have detailed sequences of the Dinobot resurrection, the Autobots rescuing the humans, Decepticons battling DC, and Decepticons attempting to capture Sam. I will be happy to post them if anyone is interested.
This story would include many of the GI characters. I can post the ones I would use including their alt forms.
