Hello it’s inkslinger616 and I wanted to do something a little different than all my bitching and whining. As some of you may know I am a tattoo artist by trade and I started tattooing four years ago by practicing on myself. I wanted to share with you guys some of the tattoos that I had done on myself when I was first learning to tattoo…remember I was a rookie so some of them are pretty bad and some are unfinished because, well to be frank, I am a total pussy when it comes to getting tattooed, so have a look and enjoy, comment if you want.
The first one up is the tattoo I did the first time a picked up a machine it was during Marvel’s Civil War and Captain America had just died so I decided to get my tribute to the star spangled Avenger…
The second one is a tattoo of Rorschach from Watchmen I was bored one day and wanted to try new brown ink….
This one is an outline of Iron Man’s helmet that I started and will never finish because foot tattoos are not for the weak…
This outline of Wolverine is a work in progress, tattooing your own chest is not easy to do at all…
This Cowboy Bebop tattoo is one of my all time favorites….
This is a mandalorian symbol that is on a good customer of mine...
My Assassins Creed tattoo is another product of boredom...
The KA symbol on my leg was to show the dedication I have to all things Dark Tower related….
Yet another Dark Tower tattoo this one is the eye of the Crimson King...
This N7 tattoo was done by a friend of mine that used to work in my shop with me...
Out of all my tattoos this one means the most to me. I used to be an alcoholic; I drank and drank and drank until the point that I had lost everything that mattered to me. My wife left me and I was not allowed to see my son for more than an hour a week because I was just a mean hurtful drunk and he deserved better than that. I woke up in county jail one morning with no recollection of how I got there. In that moment I had decided I would never drink again, I got the Iron Man demon in the bottle tattoo after one year of being sober and I am still going strong….
I hope you guys enjoyed it and maybe it helps you get to know me a little bit. As always this is your friendly neighborhood inkslinger bidding you adieu. Peace.
