***THIS IS MY TOP 10 LIST.
IT MAY NOT HAVE THE MOVIES YOU WANT IT TO HAVE. DON'T COMPLAIN.
INSTEAD LEAVE YOUR TOP 10 MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIES OF 2015 IN THE COMMENTS. ***

10. PIXELS
I hadn’t heard about this one until recently but am already anticipating the movie. The plot just sounds so damn cool.

9. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5

Mission Impossible has been a great spy series since the release of the first movie back in the 90s (minus the awful MI2) and remains one of my favourite action franchises as it almost always manages to bring something fresh and new to the genre. After the excellent Ghost Protocol, MI5 will be a must see for me in 2015.

8. POLTERGEIST

Easily one of my favourite horror films of all time, and one of the first I ever saw gets the part-sequel/part-reboot treatment and while many may be dreading the film (because people hate things, especially remakes/reboots before they are released) and more than excited. Plus Sam Rockwell is in it. I am cautious however as I was letdown (but still enjoyed) the Evil Dead sequel/remake.

7. PAN

I loved the Peter Pan story (and animated film) as a kid and now its getting the live-action big-screen treatment with a cast made up of some of my favourite current actors (Rooney Mara, Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund etc...) and a great director. The 2003 version was okay, but I have much higher hopes for this.

6. FANTASTIC FOUR

I still don’t understand the hate this movie is already generating. Personally I’m confident in the talented director, writer, cast, and the potential for a new take on Marvel’s First Family. This film has my curiosity (we’ve heard so little about it) and has the chance to be a truly memorable and epic CBM.

5. BOND 24

Skyfall was my third favourite Bond film (behind Casino Royale and Goldeneye) so Im very much anticipating it’s follow-up.

4. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

The Road Warrior is another one of my favourite films, so to see series creator George Miller back at the helm after all these years greatly boosts my confidence. Plus that trailer was [frick]ing awesome!

3. TERMINATOR: GENISYS

This one, like Fantastic Four, is more based on curiosity than anything else thanks to the rumored storyline. As someone who actually enjoys all the installments of the Terminator franchise (I’m in the minority) I’m very interested to see how this plays out.

2. JURASSIC WORLD

The original Jurassic Park is one of my top twenty films of all time and with a talented director, great cast, and fresh story for the sequel, my anticipation for the film is sky high.

1. STAR WARS EPISODE VII

My favourite franchise of all time returns to the big-screen for the first time since Revenge of the Sith (if you don’t include the Clone Wars film) and I couldn’t be more excited...and worried. Is this film necessary? No. Do I trust the studio? No. But nonetheless I can’t wait.

Honorable Mentions:

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

PEANUTS

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE

FRANKENSTEIN

FAST & FURIOUS 7

TOMORROWLAND

GOOSEBUMPS

CRIMSON PEAK

THE NEST

KRAMPUS
FRIDAY THE 13th

THE MARTIAN

INFERNO

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron
2. Star Wars: Episode VII
3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2
4. Peanuts
5. Ant-Man
6. Bond 24
7. Fantastic Four
8. Terminator: Genisys
9. Mad Max: Fury Road
10. Pan

I feel like 2015 became less exciting when Batman v Superman got pushed back. I mean, sure, we're returning to Star Wars, Jurassic Park, the Avengers and James Bond, but something feels missing... anyway. I'm sure there'll be plenty of awesome movies. Nice picks.

Good list and it's unique. I noticed you've left out Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. My most anticipated films of 2015 would have to be:
1. Age of Ultron
2. Star Wars Episode 7
3. James Bond 24
4. Ant-Man
5. Jurassic World
6. Mission Impossible 5
7. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

That's pretty much it, the rest i don't really care about.

2015 is only good because of Avengers 2 and Star Wars (and Ant-man). I'm not that hyped for the rest of the films. I'm not trying to be a troll here but it's just that everyone was like: "OMG 2015 is going to be the best year in movies" and i particularely think that 2014 has been better: Captain America, Edge of tomorrow, Godzilla, X-Men, Spiderman, Guardians of the Galaxy, TMNT, Dawn of the planet of the apes, TMNT... etc

Only reason I'm not looking to Pan is because I think we already got a great Peter Pan thing in Neverland mini series, I doubt this new one surpasses it.

Bond 24, man. Bond 24 aaaaaaaaaaaaall the way.

I'm a huge Bond fan.. and as far as I'm concerned, Craig's Bond is the closest to the character from the original novels (Dalton being my second favourite), so the more movies we get from him the better.

Wait, they're remaking Poltergeist?

I must've been drunk when that was announced.

@BatzFTWfan Yeah I hope it does surprise me like Guardians did, just personally not a fan of the character in general.

@DrDoom well as I said in the beginning of the editorial this is my list and thus my opinion. These are movies that I am anticipating not ones I think you should anticipate. You may have Age of Ultron on your top 10 but I don't for a lot of reasons. Feel free to make your own list in the comments.
