Hello there comicbookmovie people. I am back with an another fan cast but this one here is for the [Hopefully] live adaptation of Sucker Punch most awesome videogame[After Sly Cooper of course] INFAMOUS
It was announced back in 2009 that Sony Pictures was interested in making Infamous into a movie. Screenwriter Sheldon Turner (The Longest Yard) was chose to write the script but as of today no news have been heard.
Welll before we get on with the cast a little of synopsis wouldn't hurt: In Infamous the game centers on bike messenger Cole MacGrath, who survives an explosion that destroys entire blocks of Empire City only to find he has new electricity-derived super powers. As Cole learns to control his powers he tries to find out why he has obtained these powers and at the same time trying to prove that he didn't cause the destruction of Empire City
Now let's get on with the cast
MAX IRONS AS COLE MACGRATH:The main protagonist who is the only survivor after an explosion which ravages an entire district of Empire City musteriously gaining superpowers. Yeah it might seem weird that I casted Max Irons[I casted him in my Highlander and Power Rangers fancast]. Most people wanted Aaron Paul or Joseph Gordon Levitt[Others wanted Statham or Worthington for the role and to be honest I cant picture Statham using superpowers] for the role but the problem was that I needed to cast Kessler and everyone who has played the game knows that Kessler is Cole's future self and I couldn't find any other actors who coul match Aaron Paul or JGL characteristics[Ok I warned about the damn SPOILERS so if you are a he/she person reading without playing the game gongrats you just spoiled yourself]. I choose Irons because he kinda has the face of Cole from the first game and and I believe he has the acting chops to play an uderdog which is what Cole is.
OTHER I CONSIDERED: AARON PAUL AND JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT
TYLER LADINE AS ZEKE DUNBAR: Zeke is Cole's best friend and the only one who helps him in this mess. I saw Ladine in films such as Tucker and Dale VS EVIL[Seriously best horror comedy ever] RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES[Best reboot in the movie frnchise history] and Good Old Fashioned Orgy. Ladine is an actor who has range and I believe that he can bring the seriousness but at the same Zeke's comedy thing to life.
EMMY ROSSUM AS TRISH DAILEY: Trish is Cole's girlfriend in the game but after Trish learns that he may had something to do with the downfall of Empire City she leaves him blaming him for her sister's death. Emmy Rossum is not only a magnificent actress but she is good looking as well. Emmy Rossum has starred in films such as Mystic River, Poseidon,The Day After Tomorrow,Dare and the upcoming fantasy film Beautiful Creatures. I beleive that Rossum can bring the drama required for Trish.
MICHELLE PFEIFFER AS MOYA JONES: Moya Jones is a FBI agent who uses Cole to help her find her husband John White. In the game we only see Moya's face once and for the rest of the game we only hear her voice. I choose Pfeiffer for Moya because the character has a commanding presence[Even though you hear her voice only] and Pfeiffer has that commanding presence in her films[For example see Dark Shadows the only good thing in that movie]
IDRIS ELBA AS JOHN WHITE: An Nsa agent and Moya's husband[Which later Cole finds out that Moya is not his wife from John himself] he persuades Cole to help him find Kessler and destroy the Ray Sphere to make sure that it wont fall in the wrong hands. I choose Elba for the part after seeing Luther 28 Weeks Later, Prometheus, Takers and THOR. The guy is an amazing actor I dont think I need to say anything more.
NOOMI RAPACE AS SASHA: Sasha is a Conduit and she controls THE REAPERS she is the love with Kessler and she is straight up lunatic. I choose Noomi Rapace for Sasha after her I saw her in films like The Millenium Trilogy Prometheus and SHERLOCK HOLMES GAME OF SHADOWS. Noomi has an incredible range and I beleive that she can nail the part of Sasha.
TOBIN BELL AS ALDEN TATE: Alden Tate was going to be the leader of THE FIRST SONS but Kessler arrived and took his rightful place. Tate after the blast has made an army named THE DUST MEN with him in charge and he vows vengenace against Kessler and he will stop at nothing to claim his prize. I choose Tobin Bell mainly because of the SAW series and I belive he would own the part of Tate
LIAM NEESON AS KESSLER: Kessler is the one behind the destruction of Empire City and he is the one who gave the Ray Sphere to Cole so he can have his powers. In the end Kessler is revealed to be Cole's future self. I choose Neeson for the part because it would be interesting to see him in a villain role[The guy played Ras Al Ghul perfectly] so why not do the villain again and Neeson is no stranger to action box office hits Clash and Wrath of the Titans, Taken 1 and 2, Unknown and Batman Begins
