Recently I have learned that the much anticipated movie Deadpool will definitely have a rating of a R. I know that many of Deadpool’s younger fans will be disappointed because most of them will not be able to see the movie due to the harsh violence, language, and other adult content. They also should not go to a movie like that at their age. I know it would be a good idea for FOX to create two versions of the Deadpool movie: a PG-13 and a R. This would please both the older fans and younger. It would bring FOX almost triple their profit. This would be similar to the way Daredevil was made and it pleased everyone. Also X-men fans will be able to continue with the X-men franchise without worrying about being mature enough for other ratings. If anyone has any information on how I can persuade FOX to use this idea, or if anyone would like to join my cause please comment.

R would be great.
I'm still too young for R movies, but it'd be a bad idea to make Deadpool PG-13.
The script was completely R.
I don't mind my step-dad taking me to see R movies either, considering it's a cool bonding type event for us.
It's all about having cool parents. :P

The R-Rating is the only way for this movie to really work.

No, and younger kids could certainly watch the movie regardless of it's R rating. I remember watching Blade and the South Park movie when I was 'too young' to watch them. Movies don't effect children, only stupid children really.

I am not saying to remove the R rating, just also add a pg-13 one for people under ten. I know many parents who won't take their kids to see a R version but a pg-13 instead.

I thought this was posted last week then pulled 'cause it was a bad idea and a mistake to try and post something like this.

Deadpool only exists in an R rated world, either deal with that or pay no attention to the fact that it is R rated.

I was watching R rated movies when I was 5, Rambo First Blood, Terminator, Aliens, Road Warrior, To Live and Die in L.A., 8 million ways to die...

@Iron Warrior- Well that's their fault, if parents are too much of a prude to allow their children access to a fun more adult movie then that's their own problem.
