Here it is, Ladies and Gentlemen! It's been quite awhile since my last feature on here, and here it goes..
I would like to give a gift to you all in my absence in posting here on CBM. This website is still very important to me, and I continue to read regularly, as time and life has thrown a few curve-balls my way from preventing me in posting things myself, but this is a special post, like all other, but in particular, because it is one that exhibits a video idea I have had for about two years now.
I wanted to exhibit Harvey's story, his perspective, as a whole, before and after the transformations, both physically and emotionally for him.
In a way, it's a celebration of The Dark Knight Rises impending arrival, our excitement for the trilogy as a whole, and the reflection on the first two chapters leading up to it's epic conclusion! (By the way, I am a fan of both Marvel and DC, so, I hope both kinds of fans could enjoy this as well as the non-brand specific fans that check this out, too!)
The band I used, Poets Of The Fall, is a rock band from Finland, and some of the most gracious, respectable musicians out today, they put everything they have into each and every song, from the structure to the lyrical content. Needless to say, aside from the currently shelved Nine Inch Nails, they are my new favorite band of all time (KISS is excluded because of their immortal awesomeness, simply incomparable forever!)
The song in question I chose is titled "Heal My Wounds", the closing track on their 2010 album, 'Twilight Theater', which is my personal favorite, although, I love all of their albums, including the newest one, the fifth album, Temple Of Thought.
I would explain in highly detailed descriptions why I chose this song to make a video, but my edits at the key moments of the song are better to just watch, because I'm very excited I finally finished this! It's truly a cool experience to see things from the perspective I have created in it, and I really hope you like it! Enjoy!
