As you all know there has been posted on the site a video containing a user speaking out on CBM. Now let me say that in this article I have no intension of hurting or offending anyone. Anyways to best explain my feelings toward this video I will tell my story:
Even before I became a user I admired CBM for being the site that it was when I joined it kind of kicked in my Fanboy hormone. I became a user around the time Galactus started enforcing his , well “safety laws”. I thought that it was a good move.
So in response to the user let me say, yes some users do talk about inappropriate things on the site. But look around! The world is filling up with those kinds of things. Those users find them amusing. I myself don`t usually find them amusing but I don`t totally trash the users that do talk about it. I mean just because they do those things doesn’t mean they’re perverts. So my point is that people talk about those things. It`s a fact that in our modern society people talk about those things.
Now it seems that this guy wanted to be an editor and he didn`t have the right skills so he started bashing the site for it. But in my time at CBM I have not found this site to be a perverted, unlawful, porn site I have found it to be an awesome site that is the #1 comic book movie news site in the world. The site lets all users have a chance to get their work out there and express their feelings toward CBMs. And it even has a community of quizzes, polls, fansites, and even the chatroom where Big G holds quizzes every Thursday.
No this site isn`t some place to talk about girls, it`s a community of people who just love Comic Books and the movies made from them. So agree with me, don`t agree with me but just remember what this site is and what it was mad to be. Avengers72 out.
