Machete Review:
Machete stars Danny Trejo, Steven Seagal, Michelle Rodriguez, Jeff Fahey, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro.
It's brilliant movie! Well written and well directed by Robert Rodriguez. If you like big guns, beautiful women, swords, knives and well....machetes, you will definitely like this one. The story revolves around an illegal immigrant, Machete (Danny Trejo), a former Mexican Federal turned renegade.
There is plenty of action and gore for you and you'll definitely have to be 18+ and not squeamish to see this movie. There are some really funny moments in this as well. The visual tone of the movie works for the story and so does the score. Machete got the girls too easily and unrealistically.
Lindsay Lohan has some nude scenes in this one, I'm not sure where her career is going. I think this is Jessica Alba's finest. She sort of begins plays a sidekick to Machete at one point in the movie. Alba was really good in this one, she really shows her talent in this one without the need of showing some skin.
Robert De Niro, Jeff Fahey and Seagal are the main villains in this one going against the anti hero that is Machete. Steven Seagal played a brilliant villain in this one.

And why do you think Trejo can play Lobo?....
I'm glad you asked.
Now, the main character, Machete was bloody awesome. Really bloody awesome! Danny Trejo got the girls, spilt a lot of blood, used a lot of weapons and used a motorbike. Does this sound familiar to you guys? I'm talking to those of you who know Lobo.
I was very convinced when, in a scene, he rode a motorbike that practically flew. Well, actually that was because of the explosion but you get my point.
I would love Trejo to play Lobo if a Lobo movie is actually rated 18 not a PG13! But the movie company that currently holds the rights love money so I'm hoping after they see the success of this one they would change their minds.
