Finally i finished my Superman Fan Cast I've been trying to put together. Since most of you, if not all, know who these characters are, I'm not going to bother you with explaining who each character is, and if you don't know i apologize, but please feel free to use the grand Wikipedia on each character. Hope you guys all enjoy this, i took plenty of careful thought into this and won't spend too much time explaining each choice for the characters. These are my opinions and mine alone, so disagreeing, tastefully and without vulgarity (Please no offensive vulgarity) is encouraged if you disagree, and if you agree please comment below.

Forward: This took me literally 24 hours straight of working. So any misspellings of Names is purely unintentional, but i have taken a great amount of time to thoughtfully check my opinion on each actor and actress.

CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN/KAL-EL

•Matt Bomer- Height: 5'11.5"- Age:33. He's a really good actor, he's been in competition for this role since the early 2000's. I feel he has a good look for it and could balance between assertive and nice and smooth, which would allow him to give a fresh take on Superman.

•Henry Cavill- Height: 6'1"- Age:27. He's a fine actor, and by far a popular choice for Superman. No doubt he has the looks and the acting ability, so i would be fine with him as Superman. My only problem is that in Stephanie Meyer's mind he's Edward (a fact, on the evil Twilight Author's Web page she admits he was her inspiration for Edward, thank my ex-gf for making me know that)

•D.J. Cotrona-Height: N/A-Age:30. Originally cast in Justice League Mortal i felt it was time to remind the public he was chosen. I feel it'd be OK to allow him to play Superman, his talent has certainly grown since he was originally cast and is in fact a young 30 and is on the t.v. series Detroit 1-8-7. Knowing this information could he have been the t.v. star the Warner Bros. Leak was talking about when they started looking for Superman? I'd hope so.

•Jake Gyllenhaal-Height: 6'-Age:30. I remember a time back that Jake was heavily considered for Batman in Batman Begins, I think at one point his audition went so well he out-staged Bale, but Bale came back with a fierce audition and re-won the role. It makes me think, if Gyllenhaal almost got the role of Batman(had he not been competing against Bale, he might've won), how good he might do at a Superman Reading and could make me feel he could fit well as Superman.

•Joseph Gordon-Levitt-Height: 5'10"-Age:29. Now i know at least 99.9% of everyone is going to give me shit for this choice. I understand. No one would expect JGL as Superman, most of this is because of his Size. I'm bringing to the plate The BALE DEFENSE. A good actor who at the time of being approached for a major comic book role wasn't nowhere even close to the size as the character. Bale was literally a bean-pole when cast as Batman, and he got size by the time filming started. JGL is a great actor. And knowing such if he did Play Superman he would more than likely be brought to the gym and would gain muscles. I figure he could be just as passionate for Superman as Bale for Batman and would allow him to gain the muscles need to look the role of Superman.

•Jon Hamm-Height: 6'.25"-Age: 39. No doubt he's a favorite for the role of Superman. I would love to see him as Superman, he's no doubt built for it. The only real trouble would be the fact that he's stated that it's really not a role for him, I've seen an interview in which he commented "Superman's a god and there is no Drama in that" So personally i don't think he would take the role, even though it would be nice to have him be Superman.

•Garret Hedlund-Height: 6'2"-Age: 26. With youth, height, and talent on his side I'd feel a certain degree of confidence in casting him as Superman. a Rising star as early as 2004. With his role in Tron Legacy I'm sure will show how much talent he has and would give many the idea he could play a well updated Superman fitting in Zack Snyder's Universe.

•Gabriel Macht-Height: 6'.5"-Age:33. Even though many don't like the Spirit there’s no doubt that Gabe had the Super Hero attitude, with a decent Script and ample opportunity Gabe would be a great match for Superman.

•Chris Pine- Height: 6’1”-Age:30. No doubt a great actor I see a real heroic-ness to him. As Superman, Pine could bring a new crowd for fans. He’s got the looks and the ability to play Superman and I for one would support the idea of him as Superman.

•Brandon Routh- Height: 6’3”-Age:31. My personal favorite for the role of Superman, there’s no getting to those who don’t like him. Personally I want him as Superman because he’s the only actor to play Superman since 1986. So to have Superman recast again would be hurtful, but I could accept it. My preference is Routh, but I’m not against a recast.

•Tom Welling-Height: 6’3”-Age: 33. Seen by most as Modern Superman, I’m not really against him as Superman. Calling him the Superman of the generation because he hasn’t played Superman, His Clark Kent is good and fits well for today’s generation. No doubt I would allow him a Screen test for the role.
•Patrick Wilson-Height:6’1”-Age:37. A great actor who’s worked with the Current Director I enjoy him as an actor. He does well and looks like a Clark. I could definitely see him as Clark Kent and as Superman, he’s got the right voice and tone for it, and if he added a few pounds for muscle I think he could be great in the role.

•Sam Worthington-Height:5’10”-Age:34. A great actor, he looks like a Superman.
He’s got muscles and add some Lifts to allow him to gain a couple inches in height I think he would do a fantastic job. I understand a problem lies with his Aussie Accent get him a better accent coach to allow him to master the American accent and I could see him be the Superman of our generation.

Lois Lane

•Malin Akerman-a great actress, I loved her in Watchmen and feel that she has the attitude and looks to play Lois Lane.

•Julie Benz- Well loved from Dexter and Rambo fans Julie is an actress that’s earned her place in the film industry and would be good for the role of Lois Lane.

•Jennifer Connelly- Honestly this choice came as a surprise when I decided to put her on here. She’s a great actress and I’ve always enjoyed her performance knowing she has the presence to really sell her role and keep a tough female exterior.

•Kate Beckinsale- A fan favorite for the role it’s easy to see why this accomplished actress is wanted for Lois Lane. She would be a well addition as Lois as she is one of the more classic looking and moving actresses in Hollywood.

•Erica Durance- She does an amazing Job in Smallville. Many who don’t like Smallville still enjoy her performance, and I have to admit so do i.

•Stana Katic- She’s really grown since her bit part in the Spirit. Now working as a cop on Castle she keeps with her the strong willed no bull attitude of Lois Lane, which is something I think fans could see in her.

•Mila Kunis- A underrated actress Mila Kunis is Lois Lane to me. She always turns out a great performance no matter script or role. She well deserves the role for it and would be well accepted for it.

•Michelle Monoghan- A great actress who knows what she’s doing and knows how to play almost any role that crosses. She is an actress I’d have confidence in for the role.

•Amanda Peet- She’s always been on my mind for Lois, she’s one of my favorite actress of all time, She’s always turned out magnificent performances and would be an ideal Lois Lane.

•Natalie Portman- Another fan favorite for Lois, Natalie has done great performances and had just done Thor and Black Swan with her talent there I feel, like many others do, she could be a great Lois Lane.

•Emmy Rossum- This was an inspired choice a great actress with a strong will and great wit I feel that Emmy could shed the Dragon Ball adaptation and rise her career by playing Lois Lane.

•Liv Tyler- We know she’s going to get recast. Despite her having talent Marvel isn’t very faithful to it’s actors, and with that in mind, knowing she has talent and youth on her side Liv Tyler would be a great addition to Superman.

•Olivia Wilde- This is a hard one to sell. On HOUSE she keeps with her that Lois Lane hard head attitude, while being quite a looker. She’s a great actress and is very connected to the role of Lois Lane.

Lex Luthor

•Jeff Bridges- Watch Iron Man. His performance as Obidiah Stane gives me confidence he could be this generations Lex Luthor.

•Josh Brolin- Watch Wall Street 2 and help us all forget he was Jonah Hex.

•Michael Fassbender- A great actor, I’m sure that he will be great as Magento in First Class (even if the rest of the film might suck) He has a suave manor that really applies to playing Lex.

•Tom Hardy- It’s hard to really imagine that he could be a great Lex, knowing he’s going to be in The Dark Knight Rises. He’s got a very sophisticated and proper manner with a degree of certainty in his ability that really shows he knows what he’s doing.

•Jude Law- This is more me agreeing with fans than me thinking of someone. Jude’s a great actor and well accepted for the role, personally I wouldn’t mind so long as he doesn’t have his normal Britt accent.

•Joe Manganiello- So so so many see him as Superman. I really couldn’t see him as Superman, not to say he’s a bad actor personally I feel he’s better suited as Lex Luthor, he’s got that type of Corporate Mogul Presence to him. Shave his head shove him in a suit and he’s Lex Luthor.

•Julian McMahon- Everyone says his performance as Dr. Doom was terrible. To be honest take that performance of a Power Hungry Corporate Mogul, Shave his head and call him Lex Luthor and that’s him.

•Timothy Olyphant- A Die Hard inspired choice I like Tim. He’s a great actor and plays Villains with an elegance to fit Lex and his mannerisms.

•Michael Rosenbaum- We all loved him as Lex in Smallville so go with the flow.

•Sam Rockwell- We all loved him as Justin Hammer. Take Hammer shave him amp his I.Q. up to 200 and he’s practically Lex himself. The key thing to note is that Sam’s such a good actor that he wouldn’t even take anything from Hammer but create a new character to build his version of Lex and that’s something I respect.

•Kevin Spacey- Just forget the Bryan Singer influenced Modern Hackman Lex, re-watch Seven and imagine if Kevin actually got to evolve the character on his own and created his version of Lex. That would be a scary bit of perfection I think.

•John Travolta- If you like 2004 Punisher and disagree, you should be punched. That was the kind of character Lex Luthor is so why not cast him as Lex?

•Christoph Waltz- In Inglourious Basterds he made screwing people over look awesome. He has the kind if style and ability to play an amazing Lex Luthor.

Jor-El & Lara, and Zor-El

•Hugh Laurie & Lisa Edelstein and Robert Sean Leonard- These three have great chemistry and would fit well for the roles of Jor-El, Lara, and Zor-El

•Malcolm McDowell & Margot Kidder and Dylan Walsh- I’ve always had a great respect for Malcolm and as he is an intelligent and great actor he fits great for the role of Jor-El

•Alan Rickman & Teri Hatcher and Anthony Michael Hall- Alan Rickman is a legend, he's always had the genius look to him that i attribute to Jor-El and frankly he is by far one of the best choices for Jor-El ever.

•Julian Sands & Helen Slater and Christopher Heyerdah- I really had no grudge against Smallville’s El Family they work fine in my opinion.

•Terence Stamp & Katy Segal and Ewen McGregor- A trio of Great actors Terrence Stamp has not only made a good living from Krypton, he’s also done it looking like a genius and is one perfectly fit for Jor-El

•Ewen McGregor & Courtney Cox-Arquette and Josh Lucas- Three great actors I’ve aways seen Ewen as Jor-El.

Kara Zor-El/Supergirl/Power Girl

•Scout Taylor Compton- Good actress i've really enjoyed her since Halloween, she really appealed to me as an actress and seeing her as Supergirl would be a great thing to see.

•Katie Cassidy- She's a great actress having worked in Taken and Walk the Line she's certainly shown that she knows how to act.

•Ellen Page- a personal favorite for the role.

•Lara Vandervoot- Great in Smallville would love to see her in a feature.

•Emma Watson- She's a good actress, and since her current work horse is dying out next year she'll need another role to keep acting. Great for Supergirl, all she has to do is lose that accent of hers.

Superboy/Calvin Kent

•Jake Abel- A great up and coming actor Jake Abel is a good choice for Superboy

•Logan Lerman- He use to be contending for the role of Spider-Man but i feel he would be better off playing Superboy.

•Chris Massoglia- New age actor staring in Cirque De Freak, i feel Chris has the natural talent to play the Teen of Steel.

•Scott Porter- Originally an idea for Superman i couldn't justify him as a choice, although he's a good actor i figured giving him a consolation prize.

•Alex Pettyfer- Rising star in Hollywood he's a great choice for Superboy.

Jonathan & Martha Kent

•Clancy Brown & Swoosie Kurtz- Great at playing a wise man looking while looking like a father Clancy Brown is a favorite choice for Jonathan while Swoosie has the classic american mom who bakes an apple pie look to her she's one of favorite choices for the role

•Michael Keaton & Beverly D’Angelo- The classic American they work together as a great pair for Jonathan and Martha.

•John Schnieder & Annette O’Toole- Great Casting by Smallville.

•Harrison Ford & Julie White- Great pair together they look like the classic American farm parents, i haven't seen Julie's name pop up for Ma' Kent which is what i think she could do best. Whil Harrison Ford has evolved into a Fan Favorite.

Perry White

•Brian Cox- Great actor he's always been a first choice for the role of Perry White.

•Dennis Ferrina- An old man with a great reporter like design for Perry. he's a great choice for Perry.

•John C. McGuinley- A great actor and very intense to his roles he's practically Perry White in the flesh and would be a first thought for the role.

•Michael McKeen- I've got no problems with his performance on Smallville.

•John C. Rielly- Originally a serious actor, John C. Rielly has fallen into a comedic role, while i feel he should break from it and return back to dramatic acting, he would be a great choice for Perry.

•Patrick Wareburton- Aside from being perfect for Captain Marvel he's perfect for the role of Perry White.

Jimmy Olsen

•Jay Baruchel- Essentially my projection of Jimmy Olsen.

•Tim Pocock- A decent actor who's more than likely never going to have a chance to return to the X-Men i feel he would be great for Jimmy Olsen.

•Johnny Simmons- Loved his performance in Scott Pilgrim and would like to see him as Jimmy Olsen.

Ron Troupe

•Terrence Howard- A great actor who fits the criteria for the role of Ron Troupe.

•Will Smith- An actor who probably wouldn't see him as an actor who fits the role i feel Will Smith is a great choice for the role.

Cat Grant

•Bryce Dallas Howard- My apology for the other two bad actresses for the role of Cat Grant.

•Sarah Jessica Parker- Who plays a whorish writer any better?

•Kristen Davis- She does so well as playing a ditsy person yet would work so well as Cat.

LT. Dan Turpin

•Michael Chiklis- Literally the first person to come to mind. He did a great Job working on the Shield, just whipe away his F4 history, and watch the Shield, if he's not Turpin he's Bullock.

•Chris Noth- Aside from literally Looking like the Animated Series version of Dan Turpin Chris is an accomplished actor who would fit the role greatly.

•Christopher Meloni- a Favorite of mine from Law & Order SVU he's one of the first actors to enter my mind when thinking about who could play Dan Turpin.

•Danny Huston- Miscast as Stryker in X-Men 0. Danny would be better suited as playing Dan Turpin.

DET. Maggie Sawyer

•Anna Paquin- A great actress i feel she'd see the appeal with Maggie being an openly lesbian character and that would ultimately draw in Anna to do the role.

•Famke Jansen- A great actress i've loved her since i first seen her in X-Men. To see her in the role of Maggie Sawyer would be like putting in a perfect puzzle piece, as she is a great actress she would do well as Maggie.

•Elizabeth Banks- A great actor who has recently been cast in almost everything, seems like a great choice for the role of Maggie Sawyer

GENERAL ZOD

•Callum Blue- I loved his Portrayal of Zod in Smallville.

•Jeremy Irons- His role in Die Hard With a Vengeance is the key reason he's picked for this. The role he played as Simon is such a militaristic Character that he just feels like Zod. Would be great to see him as General Zod.

•Clive Owen- A great actor, other's have had this idea, which just proves great minds think alike, I love Clive as an actor, he always brings a fresh new performance to the table.

•Liev Schreiber- He was Great in Origins, i just wish he was given more to do. First i thought of him as Luthor but ultimately decided that he's such a great choice for the role of Zod.

•Ray Stevenson- My personal favorite choice, he's a great actor and would give the intimidating presence that is often attributed to Zod.

•Dominic West- Great actor who is no doubt very well talented at playing Villains, seeing him in a role with a militaristic view would be a great sight to really give his career more expansion.

JAX-UR

•Tim Roth- A role Tailored fit for Roth i feel that he would do much better as Jax-Ur than Zod.

•Hiryoku Sanada- An idea i had to evoke the Idea that Krypton was diversely accepting. With Hiryoku being as good an actor as he is i couldn't help but want him in the role

•Til Schweiger- A Great actor who's got the militaristic look to him, he seems like a logical and creative choice for the role.

Vril Dox/Brainiac

•Eric Bana- I loved his work on Star Trek and felt instantly inspired to add him as Brainaic. My personal favorite for the role.

•Paul Bettany- Well know for being a great actor Paul has done nothing short of great performances in almost every single role he's done.

•Ralph Fiennes- He's great at playing Villains, He'd be an intensely amazing Brainiac.

•Zachary Quinto- A logical choice for the role, Zach has played both evil, and Logical, and to see him be Brainaic would be a fantastic site to see.

•James Marsters- Love him as Brainiac in Smallville.

•Matthew Goode- I loved his Ozymandiaz in Wathcmen, He perfected a role that in a way is very similar to Brainaic, and would be a great choice.

Pulsar Stargrave (Brainiac’s Servant)

•Clifton Collins Jr.- Inspired by his performance as Ayel in Star Trek this actor has a great way of presenting himself as an equal and a minion.

•Doug Jones- Very flexible and amazing actor Doug Jones in a Superman film would be nothing short of great.

•Andy Serkis- Inspired from his role as Gollem i've felt of recent that he fits best as Pulsar Stargrave.

BIZARRO

•GLENN JACOBS •KEN KIRZINGER •TYLER MANE •DEREK MEARS
For Bizarro i would go with the Alex Ross Justice version of Bizarro where it evokes more the monster side of him. So in short i need a looming, large angry looking Stunt man that all these candidates fit.

John Corben/Metallo

•BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN- Great in the Second Episode of Season 9 Wish to see him back.

•BENECIO DEL TORO- A great actor who I've got a great amount of respect for, i would love to see him as Metallo.

•VINCE VAUGHN- This was tough, i struggled with my self to really put him on here, but ultimately decided that he would fit well as Maxwell

Maxwell Lord

•BRUCE CAMPBELL- BRUCE CAMPBELL FTW!!!!

•BRADLY COOPER- Originally i would want to cast him as Barry Allen(Never Guy Gardner) I feel that with his suave manner and his acting style, he fits best for the role of Maxwell Lord(And Barry Allen)

•MATTHEW FOX- Now i enjoyed his Performance as Racer X despite everyone else, I feel if he'd be approached to play Maxwell it would be a delightful Challenge for him.

•JASON PATRICK- Watch the Losers.

•GIL BELLOWS- While i feel his performance was terrible i'm attributing that closer to the writing of the character believing that Gil could give a fantastic turn on the character if made closer to his comic counterpart.

Amanda Waller

•PAM GRIER- I actually enjoy her role as Waller in Smallville, just scale the ex-wife attitude back a bit.

•C.C.H.POUNDER- She voiced the character in JLU and Public Enemies, she might as well play her.

•ANGELA BASSETT- She work for GL she works for Me.

Deadshot/Floyd Lawton

•SCOTT ATKINS- He's made his living with Martial Arts and B-Movies. I would like to see him in an A-Movie with some dialogue i figure he has the skill for the role.

•THOMAS JANE- You're welcome. Has anyone else thought of this?

•RAY PARK- Great martial artist with talent fits well for the role, if he loses the Aussie accent.

•JASON STATHEM- I like him as a martial artists and an actor he might not be my No. 1 for the role but he is a top choice.

Leslie Willis/The Livewire

•DANIELLE HARRIS- A former child actress she's shown that she has the talent and drive to be a greatly remembered actress. She has talent to bring livewire to life.

•AMY LEE- Purely because of Underworld Evolution.

•ROONEY MARA- I love her, as an actress. She is my personal view on how Livewire should look, while she would create a great attitude for how Livewire acts. My personal favorite choice.

•MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD- A last minute choice, the idea came to me and i see it as a challenge for her, as she i just coming off of S.P.

Parasite/”Rude” Rudy Jones

•ROY COCHRANE- A great actor well known for being in A Scanner Darkly I feel he has talent for playing Parasite.

•TIM BLAKE NELSON- Literally the first person I think of when I think about Parasite. Personal favorite choice for the role.

•KEANU REEVES- Parasite literally sucks the life out of anyone around them. Keanu’s acting when miscast does just that, so miscasting him as Parasite is actually casting him perfectly for the role.

LOBO ”The Main Man”

•ANDREW BRYNARSKI- He’s a fan of the character and has literally played him.

•MARK CALAWAY- Lobo often reminds me of the American Badass version of the Undertaker, which makes me feel that Mark is good for the role, and probably the only role he could fit.

•JEFFERY DEAN MORGAN- Everyone wants him as Lobo.

•KEVIN NASH- Actually a decent actor for a wrestler, Known for being the Russian in 04’s Punisher, and his gimmick as Diesal for the original WWF really has the Main Man presence to him which inspired me to throw him in for Lobo.

•MICKEY ROURKE- He’s Mickey Rourke, He can be Lobo.

Mongul

•Charles Adler- Having a great voice with power to it, Old Pro Charles Adler is a great fit.

•Powers Booth- He’s an iconic actor with a damn rough voice that has the elemental presence to it, it definitely has the type of emperor voice.

•Ted Levine- Great voice, matches to Mongul perfectly his voice has a deepness to it that is largely unmatched.

Desaad

•Steve Bacic- He’s a big guy and works well for the role, having done other roles on Smallville and other films I feel he has the ability to be Desaad.

•Steve Byers- I’m letting Smallville choices slide in. Steve isn’t that bad an actor but when given the right material for the role he can do it well.

Granny Goodness

•Meg Foster- Watch “Masters of the Universe”

•Christine Willes- Smallville doesn’t do that bad with Granny, her performance doesn’t do that bad on Granny. She is no Ed Asner though.

•Sarah Douglas- Loved her as Ursa in Superman II she has the Age for it as well as actively working, she for me work great for the role.

Glorious Godfrey

•Tim Daily- Best remembered for Voicing Superman in the Animated Series, he is my top choice for Godfrey.

•Michael Daingerfield- Not very bugged by his rendition, he fits very well in the role.

Kalibak

•Michael Dorn- Great actor, great voice, he did a great job in the Animated Series.

•Robert Foxworth- I love his voice, it sounds fantastic and really reminds me of Michael Dorn’s Voice.

DARKSEID

•JAMES EARL JONES- Who better to voice a New God then the Lord of the Siths?

•FRANK LANGELLA- Watch “Masters of the Universe”

•MICHAEL IRONSIDE- He is Darkseid. We all remember his Iconic voice from the Animated Series.

•RON PERLMAN- His voice is plainly perfect for it. Having the soundings of a Barbarian and a King Ron’s voice is perfect for the role.

•TONY TODD- He’s got a great voice, very deep and commanding, his voice would trump Andrea Braugher’s without a doubt.

BERTRON & DOOMSDAY

•COREY BURTON •CHRIS SABAT •FRANK WELKER
Doomsday as an Animal is large killing machine any of these voice actors would work for the part.

Mr.Mxyzptlk

•Jackie Earle Hailey- a great actor and probably the only actor in Hollywood with both talent and actual size to play the character.

•John Malkovich- Let me think, a crazy ultra powered being that can do almost anything with no boundries. Yep sounds like Malkovich to me.

•Mark Hamill- He voiced the Joker, He played the Trickster, Mxyzptlk is literally the next step, I’d be excited.

•Alan Cumming- A great actor, who pretty much played this role in Son of the Mask is a great choice for an updated, cynical Mr. Mxyzptlk.

And Now Potential Crew
These are three list i put together before Zack Snyder was attached to the film, but as you will see he has a place on it.

WRITERS

1.IVAN & SAM RAIMI- See Directors No.1

2.BRAD BIRD-See Directors No.2

3.DAVID HAYTER- Having co-written the good X-Men films and Watchmen his work on Superman could be tailored fit for the now confirmed director Zack Snyder.

4.STUART BEATLE- Forget he worked on G.I.Joe, Well the bad parts, he knew good parts of story and was able to move them around and build a world similar to it's cartoon counter part.

5.ART MARCUM & MATT HOLLOWAY- I like these writers they've written one of my favorite marvel film, they masterfully put together a great story mixing the many years of continuity to make something socially acceptable and fantastic.

6.ROBERTO ORCI & ALEX KURTZMEN- Forget the fact they wrote Transformers and remember they wrote Star Trek.

7.JOSS WHEDON- See Directors No.11

8.JONAH & CHRIS NOLAN with DAVID GOYER- See Directors No.7, BTW. Goyer on Superman With Zack Snyder Directing... HELL YEAH!

9.ANDREW ADAMSON- See Directors. No.8

10.ALFRED GOUGH & MILES MILLAR- Remember they wrote some of the good episodes of Smallville and Spider-Man 2. They could do Superman easily.

11.DAVID KOEPP- I loved his Spider-Man script, it had the right amount of Originality and Faithfulness to create a fantastically well rounded super hero film.

12.KEVIN ANDREW WALKER- Great writer who's done great projects, him doing a Superman where the world is dark and Superman is the shining light would be right up his ally.

13.JOHN AUGUST- A great Screenwriter who has a style for every type of film. Being as a great a writer he is, i couldn't resist seeing what he would do with Superman.

DIRECTORS

1.SAM RAIMI- Raimi originally raise as a D.C. fan didn't get interested into Marvel until his Late Brother Gave him an issue of Spider-Man, He knows comics book films and has directed one of the most popular and widley considered great comic book films of all time. With Creative freedom his Superman would trump his Spider-Man work, if it were to ever happen.

2.BRAD BIRD- Watch the Incredibles. You''ll know why ;) He knows the boundries of Super Human and Human, and he knows how to mix the two to be family friendly an interesting to adults. His work on Superman could taget a mass audience that woulld give large frame for Superman to regain his popularity with struggling fans and newcomer fans

3.JOHN FAVREU- He knows comics and he knows how to balance Comedy and Action, with that in mind I'mn sure he'd rather have the creative freedom of working on Superman, than Marvel's single minded idea(A.K.A. Avengers) i think his work on Superman could fit well in a Universe of believability and in a universe of fantasy and Sci-Fi. His style and attention to detail would fit well with Superman.

4.JOE KOSINISKI- His work on Tron Legacy looks to show that he is talented and well rounded in the Directing chair. Taking on a big cult challenge as a Tron Sequel there is little-to-no room for error. If Tron is a win then him Directing Superman would be as well.

5.J.J. ABRAMS- I'd give him another shot, even though Flyby was a Super-disaster of a Superman film, it was a decent film. His writing since then must've improved, and i feel he as a director has also grown to allow a very mythical sci-fi style that fits the world around Superman, just as long as he follows certain rules.

6.LOUIS LETTERIER- Watch the Incredible Hulk, he knows how to make a film and make a comic book film, with that in mind i think him on Superman could be EPIC.

7.JONAH & CHRIS NOLAN- Knowing Christopher Nolan's Profile, and knowing he's involved is enough to get people in seats. But for Superman is style would be strained, allowing him to use Superman to mentor his brother on the birds and the bees of directing would allow Jonah to grow his own style and not be controlled to the ideas of reality.

8.ANDREW ADAMSON- Directing John Carter of Mars Adamson has given him self a challenge of turning an Epic 12 book series into a Film Trilogy, bravery a must is something neccessary for Directing Superman. I feel his style could bring out the love and fun out of Superman.

9.ZACK SNYDER- He's doing, I'm good.

10.JOE JOHNSTON- He's talented and and well done for Superman, Working with such an American Icon such as Captain America would give him grounds for working with another super hero icon.

11.JOSS WHEDON- Large comic book fan, even though his status with DC is stressed to say the least, he's talented, and for one i would love to see his version of Superman.

12.LEN WISEMEN- He is by far one of hollywoods more talented directors, knowing emotion, dialogue, and action he could fit well for Superman

SCORE

1.JOHN WILLIAMS- He's JOHN WILLIAMS, He is the Superman Score. JOHN WILLIAMS FTW.

2.MICHAEL GIACCHINO- His Star Trek Score was beautiful and magnificent. His tones remembering it's forfather in musical comparrison, and yet giving it a fresh feel. His themes fit the characters and situation making it an exceptional piece.

3.JOHN MURPHY- By now we've all hear his theme from the Sci-Fi Film Sunshine. It work so beautifully that it's used for other films. No doubt he has the talent to compose a emotional beautiful alien score that would definitley fit inside the Superman Universe

4.STEVE JABLONSKY- His score for the aweful Transformers film stands out as a positive thing from the franchise. His music is Heroic, emotional, and moves it's scenes along better than the dialogue given in the scene. His work in a Superman film would be amazing.

5.JOHN OTTMAN- He did fine Scoring Superman Returns i see no reason to fix the unbroken

6.TYLER BATES- Having minorally worked with Snyder on Watchmen, i'm sure both the fans and the filmmakers would love to reunite for a project such as this, takling it with such heart.

7.BRAIN TYLER- His scores give the feeling of a great epic. Which match Superman in tone and status. with this said he would fit well working on a Superman film, the best work is often done by fans, an i would bet he is a Superman fan.

8.HARRY GREGSON-WILLIAMS- He knows the boundries of Humanity and animality, his Wolverine score was very well composed and would be nice to see him design a Superman score using the themes of Humanity and Alienation.

9.MARCO BELTRAMI- He gives comics a theme. his work is on the border to being legendary i feel he is by far on of the best Scorest in Modern Hollywood and his work on Superman could be great for a Modernization.

10.CHRISTOPHER YOUNG- Having the misfortune of replacing Danny Elfman on Spider-Man 3, he had a great obstacle which he overcame with a great result, not only hitting the right strings for the brightness in the film, but also the self serving darkness, which is something required to score a Superman Film.

11.HANS ZIMMER & JAMES NEWTON HOWARD- They're work on Batman would serve as a nice comparison piece. They're theme for Harvey is a beautiful happily orchestrated musical piece that until his transformation was part of the character. No doubt they could hit the right strings for a Superman Film

12.BRUCE FALCONER- I love his work on Dragonball Z his music is powerful and emotionally driven which leads me to wonder what his Superman theme would be.

13.MICHAEL WANDMACHER- He knows his way around character driven music and would fit well to do a modern, happy, "super" superman score.

PRETTY COOL!:) I like it

My choices:
Ryan McPartlin as Superman
Anne Hathaway as Lois Lane
Paul Bettany as Brainiac
Patrick Wilson as Lex Luthor (He looks like Lex from Birthright)
Michael Fassbender as John Corben / Metallo
Rufus Sewell or Clive Owen as Gen. Zod
Tim Roth as Jax-Ur
Pruitt Taylor Vince as Rudy Jones / Voice of Parasite
Clancy Brown as Mongul (With motion capture)
Michael Ironside as Darkseid (With motion capture)

Ralph Fiennes would make a great Hugo Strange in the third Batman movie, if Hardy would play Max Cort in it!:)

I can see that you worked really hard on this, so thumbs up...
I disagree with a few of your choices like Joe as Lex etc... (I want him to play Supes)
Emmy Rossum would own as Lois...
Clive Owen would make an awesome Older Batman/Zod...and yeah,Blue was awesome as Zod on Smallville...

Andrew Adamson directed the first two Narnia movies. Andrew Stanton is directing John Carter.

Great cast. Can see you put a LOT of work into this...

Ibz
Ibz - 12/12/2010, 4:48 AM
well JGL is a suprise but honestly if he hits the gym its not impossible gyllenhaal and bale basicly swapped roles, bale lost out on jarhead and gyllenhaal lost out on batman, he did buff up for prince of persia so he could pull it off, i am dissapointed though you didnt have my favourtie picks for lex luthor daniel day lewis or paul bettany, julia benz would have been perfect 10 years ago but she's getting on a bit but she still fine as hell

but well done you can see the effort put in to it, clive owen would own the role of batman even more then zod, great none the less but i am hoping for a unknown

KEVIN DURRAND = LOBO

TOM HARDY = DEADSHOT btw!

P.S. Seriously having SMALLVILLE is wrong, the TV show and movie-verse don't mix!

@LEEE777 Well to be fare the casting process is long and you need back ups for all your choices, this is really just a list of people i would meet with and audition for the roles. it's easy to choose 1 but when you do multiples then your putting thought into it
Ibz
Ibz - 12/12/2010, 1:34 PM
chris pine would be a pretty good choice, or bomer ive said it before but i want it to be a total unknown
BobGarlen
BobGarlen - 12/12/2010, 1:43 PM
@IBZ almost put an Unknown option but i wanted to list all the "Names" that i feel have it to be Superman. but yes I'd rather an Unknown, but any of these guys getting it won't break my heart.

Good choices all, but Matt Bomer is actually too good for the role.He has one of the hottest careers in the business, doesn't need it.Many in the biz consider him the next gen Paul Newman and PN would never have taken the role. Hamm is too old, I say Armie Hammer or McPartlin would be great and unknown enough to pull it off.

@Kicker Matt Bomer is a good actor, but he's said it himself that he wants to play the role
