My idea for Spidey plus Fan-Cast.

THE SPIDER-MAN
This is my take on the brilliant series plus a fan cast.
NOTE- I posted this a while ago but, something when boom and it failed.
A script for the movie is on the way too, so keep your eyes open!

The main villains for this story are Chameleon and Mysterio.

The film opens on a high school where Peter Parker is photographing various pictures around the school for the newspaper. He asks Gwen Stacey and Mary Jane Watson to pose for a picture. Flash Thompson jumps in the shot and slaps the camera. The camera shatters on the floor. Peter looks devastated. Harry Osborn gets in the middle asking, “What the hell?” and gives Peter the money for a new one. Harry looks at Flash and the girls and says, “Get the hell out of here.” The girls look regretting.
An old mansion flashes with lightning behind it and we see the caption RUSSIA, . A boy stands in his room looking out the window with a mask in hand. Tears drip down his face. A voice yells, “Dmitri!” He looks up and drags himself out of the room. A tall man comes over to him and asks him to get the sheets, and Dmitri hesitates before turning around. The man yells at him to move. After getting the sheets back to the man the man slaps him asking what took you so long. Dmitri shrugs and the man slaps him again. A boy calls Dmitri over. When Dmitri comes the boy cruelly slaps him until blood runs down his face. The boy says to get him a drink. When he refuses the boy brutally beats him and the man joins in.
Suddenly a loud crash comes and a window shatters. The man and the boy run to it. A voice comes from behind where Dmitri stands and whispers “come on.”

The boy takes Dmitri into his house and when the boy tells his parents the conditions found him in. The parents immediately are sympathetic and take him in. Dmitri shows the boy his mask making skills.

A base in Siberia opens onto the screen with the caption Siberia, Present Day. A man in a suit and tie drinks some whiskey and offers some to a man across from him and the man accepts. The suited man starts, “The great organization of HYDRA needs you.”

The man asks what for.

The man in suit replies, “Dmitri, we’re trusting you to start a nuclear war. There is a nuclear launch facility just outside New York City and we need the codes.”
Dmitri smiles and stands up.

A shot of Peter thanking Harry for standing up for him is captioned NEW YORK CITY. After accepting the thanks Harry invites Peter and his family to dinner with his father. At the dinner Norman tells Peter he’s been looking forward to seeing him and how Harry tells him how smart he is. Harry seems disturbed by the subject.

Then Norman offers to give Peter’s school a tour of the OsCorp building and Peter can’t believe his luck.

We cut to the students exiting the bus and getting into the OsCorp tower. As they walk out Flash trips Peter. Peter gets back up, humiliated. As they enter the building Norman smiles at Peter Parker and nods.

Flash mocks this gesture to Peter saying, “Awwww, Petey got Osborn to like nerdboy.”

Harry intervenes, “Is your whole life out to get my best friend? Have you got anything better to do?”

Flash replies and the two get in an argument. Norman breaks it up and asks Doctor Curt Connors to help him with the tour.

During the tour Peter gets fascinated by the spider exhibit and takes pictures of it. Norman talks to Peter about his fascination with spiders and during this time Peter gets bit by a spider. He winces and shakes his hand.

Suddenly Curt Connors runs over and informs him that a spider is missing.

“Damn, stop the tour and put this place on lockdown.” Norman smiles at Peter and they get the school out of there. On the way out Flash shoves a weak Peter and Curtis yells at him.

We then cut to a shot of Peter lying down with ice on his hand and head. He stands up and remarks on how great he feels. After realizing he doesn’t need his glasses and he can walk on walls he comes up with the name Spider-Man based on how he got the powers. Then he does a flip downstairs and pours up some cereal.

Uncle Ben says “Good Morning sunshine.”

Peter smiles and begins eating.

Later Peter is shown building web shooters.

He signs up to perform in a small time theatre and impresses all of the audience. He goes to cash a check (which has the name Spider-Man) and can’t get it done.

Changes back to Peter and Uncle Ben drives him home. The next morning Uncle Ben is reading a paper that has an article about Spider-Man and Uncle Ben says, “This Spider-Guy needs to learn not to use his powers for entertainment… for with great power, comes great responsibility. Peter dislikes this statement at first and angrily leaves.

At another showing of Spider-Man Uncle Ben shows up in the audience. When Peter changes back, a criminal sprints out of a bank and Uncle Ben tells him to stop. The criminal shoots Uncle Ben and Peter runs over to him, crying.

Uncle Ben says, “I used my power for responsibility and now it’s time for you to do the same.”

Peter promises him that and decides to use his powers to stop crime. Back in his room he builds a device, Spider-Trackers.

In the morning he has a Spider-Sense attack which he doesn’t ignore and goes to the nuclear launch base.

At the nuclear launch base, Dmitri puts on a mask and costume to make him look like a scientist. He walks in and just when he’s about to steal the codes, Spider-Man arrives and beats him up and leaves him for the police. He then goes to stop a small-time bank robbery.

After the police send Dmitri to prison, he vows revenge on Spider-Man.

Cut to a place captioned HOLLYWOOD, PRESENT DAY where a man is jumping off a cliff onto his getaway car. Then a director yells Cut and wraps up the show. The producers walk over to a man named Quentin Beck and fires from his job as a visual effects supervisor on the T.V. show. Confused, he builds a costume (the Mysterio costume) and leaves for New York because he “needs a true challenge.” When he gets off the plane he reads about Dmitri and smiles.

Back at Peter’s high school he and Gwen are flirting when Flash walks over. Flash smiles and punches Peter in the face. “Trying to take my girl? Well take this,” and punches him again. Enraged, Peter grabs Flash and throws him into a locker and pounds his face in. Then Gwen asks Peter to stop (which he does) and promptly dumps Flash. Then Peter asks her on a dinner date and she accepts.

In the prison, Dmitri sits and scratches at the wall. In a puff of mist, Mysterio appears. He grabs Dmitri and the two disappear.

In the street Dmitri asks how he did that and Mysterio simply replies, “A magician never reveals their secrets.”

We cut them walking into Quentin’s apartment. Quentin explains they will mimic Spider-Man and destroy his reputation. In the night Chameleon develops a shot to make his face purely white or as he says “A blank slate.”

Quentin shows Chameleon the Spider-Man equipment.

We cut to various security clips of Spider-Man robbing banks and it zooms out onto Chief Stacey. He declares Spider-Man public enemy number one.

At the dinner, Gwen and Peter have a great time and they return to Gwen’s house. After Peter learns why Stacey declared him an outlaw he promptly tells Gwen who he is (Spider-Man) and why she has to convince her dad who he is. They exchange in a long kiss and Peter jumps out the window and crawls down the building.

At another bank “Spider-Man” walks in. The real Spider-Man arrives at the scene beating up this Spider-Man and taking off his mask revealing him to be Quentin Beck. Beck calls Chameleon who begins to shoot at Spider-Man. Spider-Man exits the bank where he and Chameleon continue fighting. He takes off Chameleons Spider-Man mask and mocks him, “Oh, I remembered that you were white but this takes it to a whole new level!” Chameleon punches him in the face and Mysterio appears. Spider-Man kicks Chameleon and flicks Mysterio’s head. “Here fishy fishy fishy” he mocks. Then Mysterio punches him and Spider-Man says, “Have I got the name for you!! It’s The Evil Fish Bowl!!” Chameleon pulls out a pistol and begins shooting at Spider-Man. Spider-Man kicks him in the face and webs him into a corner. “Bye, bye mighty whitey!” Mysterio keeps disappearing and reappearing when Spider-Man is about to punch him. Finally Spider-Man webs in a circle, catching Mysterio and putting him next to Chameleon.

Peter then shows the pictures of Spider-Man to J. Jonah Jameson who immediately offers him a job.

Then, Peter and Gwen meet up and the movie ends with a long kiss.

In a post/mid-credits scene a shadowy figure appears outside of Mysterio and Chameleon’s shared cell. The shadowed figure says, “Have I got a plan for you,” and we see Mysterio and Chameleon smile.

FAN CAST:

Garret Hedlund as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

A great actor who was fantastic in Tron: Legacy

Alexander Skarsgård as Dmitri/Chameleon

He is an amazing actor who could pull off this creepy sociopath.

David Tennant as Quentin Beck/Mysterio

Fantastic actor who needs some big screen time and he’d be perfect for a whimsical man like Mysterio.

Michael Douglas as Uncle Ben Parker

He looks the part of Uncle Ben and feels like Uncle Ben to me.

Patrick Dempsey as Norman Osborn

Oh, come on how cool would that be?

Glenn Close as Aunt May

She’s just Aunt May in my mind.

Liam Hemsworth as Harry Osborn

He’s a good actor who could even play his drug-filled days.

Gillian Jacobs as Gwen Stacey

She’s awesome and this was the hardest choice for me.

Jennifer Lawrence as Gwen Stacey

An Oscar winning actress who is great for the role. Sorry for the double cast.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Jane Watson

Not an original choice… but come on…

Garret hedlund is to old to play a high school spiderman (so where Toby and Andrew) but his voice is so deep it wouldn't be believable for Peter Parker. He'd be a better Harry Osborn to me.
Everything else is great!

Really great! Like the story. I'm not big on fan-casts, but your choices seem solid. I'm a big fan of Mysterio, Second favorite Spidey villain. Really good. check out my new Batman fan fic if you get the chance. It's set directly after Conundrum.
