As much as i love the Holy Trilogy, Star Trek would Pawn the Wars in a fight.

Intruder, it's been established that the Enterprise -- and we're talking the one from the original series, let alone what's been developed in its aftermath -- had enough juice to destroy an entire planet. I'm just saying.

Star Trek is the better franchise.
Cool find @Ed.

I agree with you almost completely. The Empire has force fields too. Those deflector screens that Han was trying to drop so the Rebels could attack the Death Star was basically force fields. But, you are right. The Technology in Star Trek is far more advanced then in Star Wars. They needed an outpost on Endor for the Death Star to have shields. Even the smallest vessels have shields in Star Trek and its actually in the vessel. Plus, even after the Star Trek Shields are dropped, most Federation vessels have "deflector screens" protecting just the bridge. In distance alone (according to Star Wars doctrine) all the planets in the Star Wars Universe reside in 1 solar system. Star Trek has left the solar system and beyond. Star Trek has Warp Drive, which is faster then light travel. Star Wars has...Hyperdrive? It was never confirmed how fast that is, but I get the feeling its not faster then light, even though the starfield does stretch when it is activated. It takes days to get from the inner core worlds to the outer core worlds. Warp is faster! Yes, Star Trek has transporters, but you are not giving Star Wars its worth. In Star Wars Unleashed, the main character actually does take out multiple Tie Fighters with the Force and pulls a Star Destroyer out of orbit. But it looks like the only Force wielding characters in the time frame of this video (The Empire Strikes Back) is Luke, Yoda, Vader and the Emperor. I don't think it would make that much of a difference.

@Intruder
The Jedi would so sneak on a Federation vessel, but the better question would be, why would they. The Jedi are the good guys (someone is in denial)...As stated above, the only Sith in the trailers time frame was Vader and Palpatine. They never struck me being sneaky. Where your 18x larger then the Enterprise argument is a tad over rated. Yes, it is larger, but the Enterprise is a crapload more maneuverable, even with all those Turbolasers.

I always had an odd question with the Rebels and the Death Star. If their targeting computers could pick up the vent on the Death Star and the vent lay flat on the surface of the Death Star, why fly down the corridor. Fly around and fire everything you got at the vent from a distance...

Star Trek V. Star Wars...The classic geek argument....

Picards Enterprise D or E would destroy anything the Empire has.
1 word..Shield!
Also the Empire armor os good against lasers and physical attacks. Phasers and Photons will destroy them and a transporter could literally transport a star destroyers ngine into space.

Vader is a bad man, I agree. But Picard's crew are all very skilled people.

Give Data and Gordi a few minutes and they';ll hack the Empire's computers. And using new Trek science that the force is carried by a parasite. Crusher will make a cure for that...

LOl Not even a fight.

@Geeksiah

Even a planetary transporter is not powerful enough to teleport a Star Destroyer. As for the force being an ability that could be cured....that is epic!!!

@ Jim, Not the entire Death Star, just it's energy core
and Hey Lucas made it a sickness and Crusher will find the cure

Can someone tell me how a character (Boba Fett) who has about 3 minutes screen time became the badass of the galaxy? He's a copy for starters and he got knocked into a sarlacc pitt (I don't care even if he survived) after being hit "by accident" by Han and flew headstrong into a steel wall. Yeah...I'm concerned about him...

Well, if you have kept up with the novels, the Star Wars universe was almost completely destroyed leaving 1 planet left...Earth? Sounds like they caught up...

Wars would win..

Yes the Enterprise would beat a Star Destroyer. With Wars also comes countless Tie/xwing/tons of other kinds of space fighters,the Force, races of higher intelligence than any Human or Vulcan, a endless army, and the Light Saber (which I'm pretty sure would deflect a Phaser).
A Jedi could mind trick half the crew of the Enterprise, and they'll be on their side.

Just no competition.

Star Wars owns Star Trek in every way. Han Solo could kick the living shit out of Kirk, no doubt about that.

If you wanna see some nice Star Wars fans vs Star Trek fans battle, watch the movie Fanboys - so [frick]ing awesome

I am not quite sure how you could argue that Star Trek is better then Star Wars, it just isn't, I know it's not an argument but I don't care. Star Wars is just on a whole level of awesomeness that Star Trek just hasn't hit yet.

@patriautism Even if a light saber could deflect a phaser, it could just be switched to the wide beam setting. That couldn't be blocked. What races are of higher intelligence in Star Wars then Vulcans or humans? And when has a Jedi been able to mind trick hundreds of people at the same time without seeing them at all? Or even mind trick people for a long period of time?

Darth Vader would annihilate everyone on the Enterprise. Of course, if Species 8472 came into the fray, they would eliminate everyone.
