With Christopher Nolan giving us the grand finale to his legend of the Batman last year, and this year, producing the kick off too the DCCU, MAN OF STEEL. Here is my fan cast for the next iteration of the king of Gotham, THE CAPED CRUSADER!

CAST

Bruce Wayne/Batman - John Hamm
Playing another rich tycoon shouldn't be much for the Mad Men break out star. He can pull off the wit, look and pain of Wayne (heh). He can pull off perfect voice overs of the Bat's thoughts with his dark, manly voice. The costume would reflect a realistic version of the New 52! version, with darker gray's.

Alfred Pennyworth - Christopher Plummer
He is elderly, he looks like a butler, he's an amazing actor, the god father of theater. He is the perfect choice for the dark butler.

Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing - Josh Hutcherson
I'm being honest right here, I am no fan of Hutcherson. I do think he is a great actor though and could pull off Grayson's look and heart ache, being taken in by Wayne. He would be the perfect Robin. His costume should be based on the Arkham City look.

Selina Kyle/Catwoman - Olivia Wilde
Wilde proved to me in TRON: Legacy, that she can pull off sleek, adgile and sexy. She is the hottest actress out there with actual talent and can pull off Kyle's prostitution life, as well as major sex appeal to the dark knight.

Lt. Jim Gordon - Bryan Cranston
I can see the comments now "unoriginal as f*ck! pick someone new for once!", but after watching Breaking Bad two times through and watching Under The Red Hood, Cranston would make a perfect Gordon; look, voice and talent wise.

The Joker - Daniel Day-Lewis OR Brad Pitt
Daniel Day-Lewis has done many transformations into many characters and pulled it off incredibly. He could bring us a more comic book faithful Joker, maybe even topping Ledgers outstanding performance in TDK.
Brad Pitts psychotic take on his 12 MONKEYS character and his sadistic take on Tyler Durden in FIGHT CLUB, he could take this character to the perfect state of crazy.

Harley Quinn - Jennifer Lawrence
I was trying to figure out who would be perfect for the sadistic clown Queen, then it hit me. Lawrence would kill this role with her crazy humor and her sexy look.

Edward Nigma/The Riddler - David Tennant
After conquering time and space, I have found that Tennant would put forth an amazing take on the character, hitting Carrey's take out of the park. He qould be amazing in green suit asking strange but complicated riddles.

Harvey Dent/Two-Face - Nathan Fillion
He is one of my favourite actors and I think he could pull it off as the hit-streak lawyer of Gotham. He looks the part and could act it quite well in my opinion.

Bane - Jason Momoa
He has the build and look for the spanish version of Bane. His powerful voice would terrorize the streets of the dark city and bring it to terror with his group THE LEAGUE OF SHADOWS.

Black Mask - Guy Pearce
Pearce is one of my favourite actors. His death defying voice and tone would bring a great take to the dark hearted terrorist. His ability to perform in Memento made me chose him for the mask.

Poison Ivy - Connie Britton
I'm a big fan of Britton's performance in AMERICAN HORROR STORY, which leads to my point. She can pull off middle aged, sexy plant lady any day. Apart from her age (a bit) she'd be perfect for the role.

The Ventriloquist/Mr. Scarface - Paul Giamatti
Giamatti can play the nervous, over obsessed wreck that is needed to play the crazed Ventriloquist. He has the look and talent for this role and I believe he could do it justice.

MINOR ROLES
Rha's Al Ghul - Sir Ben Kingsley
Joe Chill - Jackie Earle Hayley
Scarecrow - Matt Bomer
Clark Kent/Superman - Henry Cavill

I like alot of your choices, but I hate the idea of Hamm. He looks way too old, and I dont think he could handle the action. My choice has always been Jeffrey Donovan, he's an amazing actor with over 20 years of martial arts training. Not a bad job so far.

Awesome casting except for Britton and Fillion. Christina Hendricks should be Poison Ivy and Fillion to me should be Green Lantern.

Well done. But I think Hamm is too old now. Personally, for a series, I wouldn't go with Christopher Plummer. He's 89. He would be an AWESOME Alfred, but I don't think he could last an entire series.

As for Joker, both very nice picks, but my personal pick is Australian actor Robert Carlyle

Pitt as Joker? Damn it, I never thought of that before! Brilliant idea.

Not a fan of Josh H. for Dick Grayson, I can see him as Tim Drake maybe. The rest are fine, Joh Hamm does seem a BIT old at this point, but whatever. Cool poster! Happy Valentine's Day or Singles Awareness Day (Whichever it is AHAHAHA)

Only issues I have with this fan cast are Batman and Robin, Josh Hutcherson would be suited for Timothy Drake in my personal opinion, I'd like to see Logan Lerman bulk up a little and be Dick Grayson. And Batman if we're after the Dark comic book brooding Batman, James Caviezel is my pic.

Everything else is spot on.

Who would you have direct it? Script it? Produce it?

Not a fan of your Robin but that's it.

eh... Plummer is 82. I don't want to bring up age, but Plummer is older than Alfred himself. Just sayin'.
