Hello CBMers!!!
This is just a silly idea I had and well...I suppose, I thought I'd share it. Perhaps get a little chuckle. And now making it weekly, in order to poke a little fun at some of the week's CBM stories.
OFFICES OF CBMZ
MARTY: "My name is Marty Stein, and I started the CBMZ to show the world at large every side of their favorite comic book movie heroes. We don't shy away from anything, me and my team, we've got an army of paparazzo all around the universes gathering the inside info for us. So what do we got? Jeff? You had something?"
JEFF: "Yep. Ok, we got a bunch of new DC shows popping up. Some beloved characters and some not so beloved characters. For example, AMC has just ordered 'The Chronicles of Robin John Blake'. It's described as a cross between Breaking Bad and How I Met Your Mother. Synopsis tells us, you'll see how the world's greatest sidekick met his Batman."
MARTY: "Sounds good, I'm there. Speaking of Batman...Christy? You got something with the commish?"
CHRISTY: "That's right. We got the heralded Jim Gordon coming out of a restaurant in Gotham City."
CAMERAMAN: "Gordon! Gordon! How're you doing? What did you eat? Do you wish the Rogues football team would've drafted Johnny Manziel?"
Gordon appears confused as he continues to walk to his car and converse.
GORDON: "Uhh...."
CAMERAMAN: "Ok. Ok. Tell us about the show? Is it going to be any good? Will it document Bruce Wayne's perilous journey through puberty? Is Charlie Sheen going to play Nightwing?"
GORDON: "Ah...ha. Good one. No, I think it's going to be good. Right? I'm pretty sure there was a big desire to witness my exploits in Gotham, after moving there from the OC of course. Ok. Goodbye."
Gordon quickly unlocks his car door and enters the vehicle, ducking away from the photographers.
MARTY: "Here's hoping he's right. Ok. Nikki! You had something, right? About the Power Rangers?
NIKKI: "Not just any Power Ranger, but a former Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. We caught the white ranger himself Tommy leaving the karate studio he runs."
CAMERAMAN: "Tommy! Long time! Still keeping in shape I see. What do you think about them making a new Power Rangers movie?"
TOMMY: "Hiya!! What? They're making a new Rangers movie? They better call me up soon...you know I used to be able to jump kick with the best....Hiya!! If only Zordan would've put me in...man. White Tiger zoid, man...we would've found that missing plane. Hiya!! It's probably at Angel Grove. Man...if only....Hiya!!"
CAMERAMAN: "You're going all Uncle Rico on me. On another note is it true? Can you verify for us? Are you Clippers owner Donald Sterling's favorite Power Ranger?"
MARTY: "Enough of that. Josh? What's the word on Agents of Shield?"
JOSH: "Looks like it will definitely get a second season. Which is cool, cause we got the script for their finale. So...you know...spoilers....in the end it turns out that Coulson made it all up in his head! In fact he's been in a mental institution the whole time. Some epic 'Shutter Island' stuff. That blue guy corpse the internet obsessed over, turns out, just a dirty old sock."
MARTY: "Great job everyone!! Good work! Tune in for the next installment of CBMZ!"
