After watching the trailer for TDKR during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 it was revealed to me that Bane would follow the plot of "Knightfall".
I came upon this assumption through the words of the hospitilized commissioner Gordon who said during the teaser "We were in this together, then you were gone…….Now this Evil rises. The Batman…..HAS to come back.(all this is said in a very raspy voice, in much pain)" to which Batman replies (or possibly Bruce wayne, the audience is not revealed who is talking though it is most likely Wayne) "What if he doesn’t exist anymore?"
This suggests that Batman will be defeated by Bane during the movie which would explain why we have those leaked pics of the Lazarus pit's (After Wayne's spinal cord is broken by Bane and is in need of repair such as in the Comic 'Knightfall') and why Liam Neeson will also return for this movie. Also, it is odd we have actors such as Joseph Gordon Levitt portray John Blake, "a Gotham City beat cop", who could possibly be Azrael, who is incidentally an "ex-cop" who gained enhanced strength and reflexes after being experimented on by evil scientist Doctor Hurt, who actor Alon Abutbul's character could possibly play; a "Mad Scientist". Now this piece of plot starts clicking and suggests that Azrael is the character Joseph Gordon Levitt will portray, who was also originally a character who was supposed to be a replacement batman (or hero) if something happened to Batman designed by the Gotham Police.
Also the chanting heard in the trailer could be that of the Arkham Asylum prisoners who Bane free's that would later exhaust Batman who would have to round them up which would lead to the confrontation of Bane breaking Batman's back
I know you could bring up that Azrael's name is Michael Washington Lane, but in the movies comic book name's can be skewed into making a somewhat original character.
I would really like to hear what the rest of you readers think of the plot I've been suggesting.
