Not a fan of Bomer as Superman, and I have difficulty picturing Phoenix as Lex, but I like the others a lot. Though I'm iffy on Jimmy Olsen as well.

It would be great to see Russel get a break and land Lois.

@Jeff- Really?! Awesome, hes a great actor but I too thought he he retired when he went loopy and became a rapper lol...anyway decent cast, I can see Phoenix as Lex actually and my particular favourite is your Toyman choice..that's awesome...however I don't realyl like Bomer for the role because I don't think he's a strong enough actor.

he filmed a documentary about it and that's why he acted weird and grew the hair and beard (he shaved and got a haircut since the documentary finished)

I'm have never been a huge Superman fan...I don't care for the movies, comics, anything. And I usually think all the Superman fancasts are lame. But this makes me actually want to watch this movie, this casting is great! I don't know why, but I absolutely love this! And I don't like Superman!

Ehhh... i dunno. Bomer's got the face, but he's 5'10", or something... he doesnt have the size in both hight and muscle. I've seen the pics of him in the Superman suit and he really does look good facially, but his body just isn't right. I really like him as an actor.

And I don't know if you've heard, but Jauquin Phoenix apparently isn't acting anymore. He's gone off the deep end.

@superman- Apaprently he's back :P

Actually looking at pics of Phoenix I can actually kind of see him as Superman, he has dark hair, a tanned complection, pure blue eyes and ye's around the right age. Yeah I can kind of see that!!! I call dibs on that choice!! LOL ;D

Actually not a bad cast!

I liked Matt Bomer for awhile,
myself. But I now want someone
taller and older! Or bring Routh
back! But I think Matt could
pull this off, they do have
things called shoe lifts or they
could use lifts and camera angles
to make him look taller. I just
think now, that he's too small to
play him!

They need someone big and strapping
like Tom Welling but can actually act!

Bomer does not have the stature and plus...ummm...he's also not the most masculine sort of fella. We already went down that route with Christopher Reeves. Let's not do it again.
