Bryan Cranston as Professor Xavier

Cranston is a fantastic actor who can bring the warmth and intelligence needed for Xavier.

Scott Porter as Cyclops

This guy has to play a superhero some time! I think Cyclops would be a great role for him.

Anna Torv as Jean Grey

Torv has this otherworldly quality that would work great for Jean. Dye her hair red and we're set.

Kerry Washington as Storm

Kerry is a beautiful actress who could pull Storm off in her sleep. Check her out in The Last King of Scotland.

Jamie Bell as Iceman

Iceman is the comic relief of the team. Bell would be great for that

Mike Vogel as Angel

I think Vogel was up for Angel for X-Men 3. He can pull off the rich boy turned hero without a problem

Kevin McKidd as Beast

This is one of those choices that just clicked. Something about him seemed perfect for Hank McCoy.

James Purefoy as Wolverine

Any one who has seen Solomon Cane knows he would be an awesome replacement for Jackman. Please no height complaints!

Jeremy Irons as Magneto

Maybe an obvious choice, but still a good one. No ones better at bad guy than Irons!

Diane Kruger as Mystique

Her role in Inglourious Basterds sealed the deal for me. She can play beautiful and treacherous perfectly.

Sharlto Copley as Toad

Copley is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. No offense to him, but he'd be fantastic as the creepy Toad.

Gerard Butler as Sabretooth

Butler really needs to go back to being a bad ass. Sabretooth would be a great role for that

I think Vogel would be a better pick for Havok.

Seriously, look at him and Porter and tell me they couldn't pass for brothers...

- Bryan Cranston would be my choice for Ben Urich after seeing that amazing Daredevil fancast that DDD did early this year.
- Scott might work. But Cyclops is taller than Wolverine, so you'll need someone 3" taller than Purefoy.
- I'd like to find a good role for Anna Torv, and Phoenix might work. Though I like Evangeline Lilly, because she has that heartbreaking look. And Vera Farmiga is another good choice, because her breakdowns in Joshua and Orphan are pretty much how I see Jean Grey handling the demons inside her.
- I hear Kerry Washington pop up once in a while.
- Hmm, Jamie Bell might be a good choice. I thought about Shia LaBeouf, because the characters he played are rooted in comedy and drama (i.e. Sam Witwicky).
- Huh, Mike Vogel was supposed to play Angel originally? That'd be interesting. I somehow see Ryan Phillipe, because he can play rich, intelligent roles.
- Nice Beast pick.
- I won't begrudge your pick for Wolverine. But you're gonna have to put up with DDD's "Wolverine is small" vortex.
- I'm seeing Jeremy cast as Magneto in alot of fancasts. But he's more of my pick for Mister Sinister, seeing as the voice of Scar from The Lion King come from Nathan Essex.
- For the life of me, I can't see Diane Kruger in a role where she fights. Yes, she did amazing in Inglorious Basterdz. But I'll cosign with ABZ that she'd be a good fit for Lucia von Bardas, since she has the accent.
- Nice idea for Toad.
- I don't see Gerard Butler for Sabretooth. Victor is supposed to be taller than Wolverine, so you'll need Joe Mangianello, who is 3" taller than James Purefoy.

Pretty good cast. Come check out my X-Men: Children of the Atom fancast when you get to it.

Amazing cast dude, I actually thought about Cranston as Prof X yesterday, great minds I guess.

RoadDog@ I was the first who came up with Cranston as Urich...

I like Gary Sinise for Prof. X. Rachel Nichols for Jean Grey. Mark Wahlberg or Christian Kane for Wolverine. Kerry Washington is perfect for Storm. The rest are good.

sorry but wtf I don't really care about the height but your getting an older actor to replace Hugh Jackman that makes no sense. I understand Jackmans getting along so he's going to be replaced inevitably but your picks too old, Tom Hardy would be great for wolverine.

I dont know Torv so i have zero input. I dont think I like Porter. Copley as Toad I dont like i THINK hes too tall (average-sized) though i could be wrong. the rest are all VERY good

This is "NEAR" perfect!

I've cast Irons as Mags. He fits perfectly!

Like HELLSING@ above me my greatest complaint
about your WOLVERINE is he's extremely too
old, not the height problem! You just replaced
an ol' fart with an ol' fart!
I oughtta know, I "AM" an "OL' FART"!
lol

Oh, and if ya don't want people to rag on the
"too tall" pick then don't cast WOLVERINE "too
tall"! WOLVERINE is listed at MARVEL as 5'3".
Anyone over 5'11" is too tall, plain & simple!
lol

So all-in-all this is "NEAR" perfect!
DDD
DDD - 5/22/2011, 2:28 PM
HELLSING@, you're right!
Hardy would be a great WOLVERINE!

Why the hell he's playing BANE I
haven't a clue...a short guy for
one of the tallest characters in
comicdom? I do believe Nolan has lost
it!

Christian Kane he can definitely replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the reboot, as well as your fan-cast, look him up, he is from Leverage, he plays Elliot, and if you look at him with long hair, he definitely looks like he could be a Wolverine replacement

If not him, then Eric Bana as Wolverine
JeffBridges
JeffBridges - 5/22/2011, 3:45 PM
Purefoy is a much better actor than Kane will ever be. I'd much rather have a solid actor, than one who just fits a physical aspect of the character.

Eion Bailey as Wolverine, he would be perfect especially after seeing his photo

@ Jeff Bridges,

The only thing to add to your fan cast are the characters of Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee, Pyro, and Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat

@ Jeff Bridges,

You can add all the characters that I have just mentioned in your sequel fan cast
