THE LEAGUE--SMALLVILLE SPINOFF TV JLA FANCAST

My suggestion for a Smallville JLA Spinoff called, “THE LEAGUE”

I got to thinking about Smallville, after it ends with probably season 10.

I for one would like to see a Justice league of America spinoff TV series.
I would watch such a show religiously! More so than I did with
SMALLVILLE! The stories are limitless! It would be a young JLA before
it becomes the older JLA with Batman and Wonder Woman.

I know, you're thinking that such a show would be too expensive to
produce for TV. Well that never stopped Smallville bringing in bigger
than life characters. Unfortunately they have squandered stories of
these characters for the most part.

I'd like to see Darkseid left for such a series.

I think they should call it “THE LEAGUE” and have it located in
METROPOLIS, in the Isis building.

The main antagonist, of course, would be LEX LUTHOR and his Secret
Society of Super Villains. I think it could be named “SOCIETAS”,
closely associated with SOCIETY, a Latin word Like "VERITAS" (truth).

I would like to see this show written and produced by other folks
besides the runners of Smallville! It could also guest star the JSA
every once in awhile. It could clean-up many of the discrepancies of
SMALLVILLE and set TV groundwork for a JUSTICE LEAGUE big screen movie.

I think THE LEAGUE'S line-up should be:
SUPERMAN, BLACK CANARY, GREEN ARROW, ZATANNA, MARTIAN MANHUNTER,
SUPERGIRL, IMPULSE, AQUAMAN, and HAWKMAN.

Supporting characters would be LOIS LANE, PERRY WHITE (now
the editor of THE DAILY PLANET), the real JIMMY OLSEN,
and LEX LUTHOR, one of the main bad guys but also, the-respected
on-the-surface, head of LUTHORCORP.

MARTIAN MANHUNTER would now be the main operator of
ISIS/ORACLE. HAWKMAN would be there to try to mentor the young
members of THE LEAGUE. He would be a member of the JSA and
THE LEAGUE. Together both of these guys could take the place of
BATMAN. Supergirl is an OK stand-in for WONDER WOMAN.

And now my suggestion for a TV series spinoff of SMALLVILLE--
“THE LEAGUE”:

First, of course, SUPERMAN, THE YOUNG MAN OF STEEL.
SUPERMAN/CLARK KENT – TOM WELLING

Oh, she of the EXTREME SCREAM!
BLACK CANARY/DINAH LANCE – ALAINA HUFFMAN

Good ol' Ollie, his GREEN ARROW is as straight-arrow as it gets but Ollie is
a little bit twisted and bent!
GREEN ARROW/OLIVER QUEEN – JUSTIN HARTLEY

Zatanna Zatara is a beautiful magic girl but “ZATANNA” can be a
downright WITCH! lol
ZATANNA/ZATANNA ZATARA – SERINDA SWAN

J'onn J'onzz was a a green-skinned cop on his planet MARS, centuries ago,
a MANHUNTER, now after being abducted to earth he is using his detective
skills to hunt down injustice on this big blue marble.
MARTIAN MANHUNTER/J'ONN J'ONZZ - PHIL MORRIS

KARA ZOR-EL is Clark's cute Kandorian cousin with the same colossal
powers as Clark.
SUPERGIRL/KARA ZOR-EL – LAURA VANDERVOORT

Bart Allen can run like the wind, heck he can actually generate his own
whirlwind! He can move around in a “FLASH”!
IMPULSE/BART ALLEN – KYLE GALLNER
Photobucket

Arthur Curry is more at home in the water than dry ground. Guess that's
why they call him AQUAMAN!
AQUAMAN/ARTHUR CURRY – ALAN RITCHSON
Photobucket

Carter Hall is a member of the old JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA
and he has his eagle eye on these MEGA-POWERFUL young people,
It's a good thing he's a high-flying HAWKMAN!
HAWKMAN/CARTER HALL – MICHAEL SHANKS
Photobucket

MAIN BAD GUY: LEX LUTHOR.
LEX LUTHOR - MICHAEL ROSENBAUM

SUPPORTING CAST:

The intrepid reporter LOIS LANE.
LOIS LANE - ERICA DURANCE
TV PROP C - 10

The new editor of THE DAILY PLANET, PERRY WHITE.
PERRY WHITE - MICHAEL McKEAN

I could think of no one to play the young photographer and REAL
actual JIMMY OLSEN. Let the producers do that!
