The Superman franchise.. what a bloody mess

As many die hard fans will know that the Superman'a creators' heirs have successfully won the rights to Superman's origin (anything Krypton, his life in Smallville) putting any future movie in limbo. This begs the question when will get a new movie and what will it foretell?

Well I have my own Superman universe that is set in the same universe as the current Batman series and would include the Green Lantern and Flash series' leading to a Justice League movie.

But if you were to miss Superman's whole origin until let's say his Fortress training or if you even miss that, then how would you do it. Well I think I have a pretty unique and untested idea. (I actually would do more work than frigging Warner Bros. do on Superman!)

Imagine that you have just sat trough trailers in the dark cinema and then the movie starts...

There are lots of flashes of a brutal battle between Superman and Doomsday. A large fist comes at the screen then we see a massive shockwave from then centre of Metropolis.

News reports from around the world are reporting that Superman has died at the hands of an alien monster that suffered same fate. We then see Lois Lane outside the Kent Farm, comforting Martha Kent. (All this is in a montage)

Then actual footage with Lois telling Martha that they both can be proud of Clark who brought a whole new era to the human race inspiring an army of super-heroes to defend earth. Lois and Martha then begin reminiscing about Superman with Lois telling Martha when she first met "Superman" and "Clark Kent."

This leads to Clark Kent's arriving in Metropolis and meeting Lois, Perry, and Jimmy. Lex Luthor is working on a project with a secret government department called Cadmus which develops super-soldiers to fight in the Gulf and future wars. This leads to John Corben, a reporter who works with Lois and Clark and is accidentally run over by Cadmus trucks. He is then transformed into Metallo with help from Lex Luthor. Lois and Clark investigate. Superman emerges and eventually defeats Metallo.

There will be references to Krypton and origins such as Metallo being powered by Kryptonite which Lex Luthor found around the same time Kal-El came to earth.

Back in the present day, Martha asks Lois where the monster (Doomsday) came from and how it all started.

We then see LexCorp unearthing Doomsday who begins destroying Metropolis on a killing spree. Superman revealing his true identity to Lois before leaving her to fight Doomsday and then the Superman Doomsday fight leading to the start of the movie.

Martha and Lois are sitting there at the end of Lois' story and then say that he is in a better place now. Superman then smashes out of his grave in Metropolis Park and flies into the sky.

Roll Credits.

What do you guys think, I think that this is a great way to get around the Origins problem. But what do you think, please leave a comment???? :)
