ROUND 1 RULES
Rule #1: THIS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST!!! I don't want Batman to beat everyone! Please, be fair, think about the fight, analyze the fighters powers and abilities, and be fair!

Rule #2: It will start with 6 two-on-two fights. Then, the winners of the two-on-two fights will come together, and have two battle royales, with three fighters. The last man standing in those two will fight each other in a fight that will determine who moves on to the final fight, a battle royale between the top Marvel hero, Marvel villain, DC hero, and DC villain. The winner will be the champion!

Rule #3: There will be four separate competitions, one for Marvel heroes, one for Marvel villains, one for DC heroes, and one for DC villains.

Rule #4: This has the mainstream comic characters fighting. The fighters can only use what their mainstream comic counterparts have. Also, the fighters do not have had to appear in live action.

Most important one next!!!

Rule #5: The participants have NO prep time, but THEY DO know the others abilities, and weaknesses!!!

Hello, and welcome to another installment for the Tournament! But, before the fights, let's see yesterday's results!

Fight #4: Lightning Lad

Fight #5: Raven

Fight #6: Zatanna

Let's begin the fights!

Fight #1: General Zod vs. Superboy Prime
Arena: Mount Rushmore

Like all Kryptonians under a yellow sun, General Zod possesses vast strength, speed, and endurance; super hearing; x-ray vision; telescopic, microscopic, and heat vision; super-breath and freeze-breath; invulnerability; healing and flight. In addition, Zod possesses a detailed knowledge of military tactics, giving him an advantage over Superman's somewhat amateurish combat prowess. Zod was trained in fighting arts before receiving his abilities, while Superman is prone to battling his foes with the aid of his own. Despite his tactical superiority in a confrontation with Superman, Zod's main weakness is shown to be his arrogance. Not only does he underestimate Superman's other allies, but he also lacks the ability to acknowledge his mistakes. When Zod originally escaped the Phantom Zone in the post-Crisis continuity, he proclaimed that he could have saved Krypton if his plan to kill the Council had succeeded; Superman's rational argument was that nobody on Krypton would have followed him and his inability to explain exactly what he would have done to avert Krypton's destruction, with Zod's only response being to reiterate his belief in his own success rather than provide any kind of counter to Superman's claims.

Superboy-Prime has all the basic abilities of a Kryptonian except at a much higher level, exposed to yellow sunlight: superhuman strength, speed, senses, agility, healing, endurance, superbreath, flight, x-ray vision, heat vision, and invulnerability. His power is close to that of the Silver Age "Earth-One" Superman's, which makes him one of the most powerful characters in the universe (and more powerful than recent incarnations of Superman, with the exception of Kal-El of the 853rd century. As his Krypton never exploded, there never existed any Kryptonite that affects him (some, however, has since been artificially created by beings of his own world, like the Element Lad of Earth Prime), and his only weakness is an increased need of a yellow sun for his powers. His fight with the Guardians and Monarch (the crazed Captain Atom) showed that his Kryptonian-Prime physiology is capable of absorbing and processing large quantities of Oan energy and Quantum energy in addition to yellow sun energy. It is unknown what other energies Superboy-Prime can absorb and metabolize for his powers.

So, who would win? Zod, or Superboy Prime? Vote in the comments!

Fight #2: Lobo vs. Doomsday
Arena: The Golden Gate bridge (with traffic)

Lobo possesses extraordinary strength of undefined limits. His strength, much like his other powers, varies greatly depending upon different artistic interpretations of various comic book writers. In some instances, he is depicted as being barely stronger than a human while, in others, he demonstrates physical strength on a similar level to Superman. Lobo also possesses superhuman durability, which varies greatly as well. Lobo is depicted, in some situations, as being injured by conventional bullets while, in other situations, he has the physical resiliency to stand toe to toe with Superman, survive unprotected in deep space, and withstand powerful explosive blasts without sustaining injury. He has displayed particular susceptibility to gaseous chemicals.
If Lobo sustains injury, his accelerated healing factor enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with superhuman speed and efficiency, and little apparent pain. Lobo also is functionally immortal. He is immune to the effects of aging and disease and he has been banned from entering either Heaven or Hell. As such, even though he can sustain sufficient injury to be out of commission for quite some time, he will apparently heal from any injury, given sufficient time. For instance, Lobo can regenerate out of a pool of his own blood, apparently recycling the cells. At one time, Lobo could grow a copy of himself, possessing all of his skills and powers, out of every drop of his blood that was spilled. This power was removed by Vril Dox, during Lobo's time with L.E.G.I.O.N., but Lobo has apparently regained it, as seen during the series Young Justice, in which Lobo who was de-aged by Klarion the Witch Boy, is slaughtered while on a mission to Apokolips. His blood reforms into thousands of Lobo clones who wage war on the planet and then proceed to murder each other until only one Lobo (the current one) is left. One of his other clones Slo-Bo survived, but later began to fall apart until being dealt with by Darkseid. In 52, he again regenerates from a pool of blood but no clones are created so he no longer appears to retain this ability.
Lobo possesses an amazingly developed sense of smell, which allows him to track objects between solar systems, as well as a separate tracking ability enabling him to track an individual across galactic distances.
Lobo is a formidable combatant with expertise in multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat. His favorite weapon is a large titanium alloy chain he keeps wrapped around his right wrist with a large gutting hook connected at the end, which he typically uses in hand to hand combat. At times, he also uses high-grade explosives and advanced firearms.
Despite his violent and loutish nature, Lobo seems to have a genius-level intellect in matters of destruction and violence. He can create complex virulent agents and the necessary antidotes to them such as the one he released on Czarnia during his formative years on a science project, resulting in the deaths of the entire population in the span of one week. His vehicle often accompanying him, some sort of space-faring motorcycle (the "Space Hog"), is of his own design and it is capable of extended and speedy travel throughout space despite its size. Further, it protects those in its immediate vicinity from the hazards of space and somehow permits the ability to breathe and speak. He was also able to scavenge parts from a destroyed time hopper and attach them to his own bike, producing a working time machine. Another feat is that Lobo is fluent in many alien languages (according to Lobo, 17,897 to be exact) and extremely knowledgeable in the locations and cultures of worlds without use of some external mechanism.
It is not fully known the extent to which his powers are common for his race or unique to him. In the miniseries The Last Czarnian and elsewhere, it is stated that the cloning and healing abilities are traits possessed by all Czarnians, as is the apparent ability to survive in the vacuum of space.

Doomsday was created through the cloning of an infant and having him killed over and over again by one of the most dangerous species of the universe and in one of the harshest habitats in existence, prehistoric Krypton. As such, the infant evolves and returns to life, becoming resistant or immune to whatever killed him before. After the Radiant killed him the first time they fought, Doomsday grew immune to the former's energy-projection, and even managed to withstand Darkseid's full Omega-Effect. The amount of damage dealt to Doomsday determines the length of time it would take to fully recover. During his outwardly undamaged death at Superman's hands, he only needed some days to recover, but when Imperiex reduced him to a skeleton, it would take months. Although he may never return if totally disintegrated to nothing and totally destroyed with no remains or not even a single atom of him left. His entombment in a Calatonian burial suit and metal vault lasted thousands of centuries: after being killed by the Radiant and subsequently undergoing the impact of the casket on Earth, his body was sealed underground in total darkness. Deprived of solar energy to nourish his Kryptonian anatomy, he could only revive extremely slowly and naturally.
Doomsday can also develop/evolve resistance from ordinary injuries. Superman once used a sound gun to greatly discomfort him, but Doomsday's auditory canals closed up, making him impervious to Superman's weapon. Waverider once paralyzed Doomsday with chronal energy, but the second attempt backfired. In essence, Doomsday gradually turns more invulnerable if not injured beyond his ability to recover, which is so far undefined. Doomsday has also developed weapons and abilities that counters the powers of an opponent. He managed to cancel out the pure-energy Radiant by slamming into him; to greatly extend his claws and develop a poison to strike Superman in flight and reel him in; or breathe flames against the fire-sensitive Martian Manhunter, and apparently neutralize his defensive phase-shifting power. Doomsday's skeleton protrudes through his skin in razor-sharp spurs which provide protection to his few vital organs (brain, eyes, nervous system), and act as clawlike weapons on his hands, elbows, and knees.
Doomsday possesses extreme superhuman strength that, variable as it is, at one point enabled him to effortlessly stand his ground against the entire Justice League, including Superman and Orion. He was able to break Superman's left arm with limited effort, as well as outmatch and beat Darkseid unconscious in combat. However, his strength has limits: the immensely strong Calatonian alloy cables, in which he was entombed, continued to partially restrain during his initial rampage on Earth. It was never stated how long he had struggled to free his left hand before his escape.
Doomsday is immensely resistant to heat, cold, and conventional damage, allowing him to survive on the most inhospitable worlds, or in the vacuum of space. His superhuman endurance and invulnurability were able to withstand Darkseid's full-powered "Omega Effect" without any shown damage.
Doomsday possesses seemingly inexhaustible stamina, and was not noticeably slowed down from fighting Superman for an entire day. His speed and agility are vastly disproportionate to his bulky stature, and he has been able to match Superman in this regard, once even managing to grab the Flash while the hero was in motion. He cannot fly, but rather travels by leaping miles at a time. Superman took advantage of this in their first battle by trying to keep him airborne by flying into the sky.
Doomsday has a highly accelerated healing factor that allows him to quickly regenerate from most damage. When his side was cut by Superman with a plasma sword, it closed within moments. As a result of his engineering, Doomsday does not need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep, and his body is almost solid mass with no internal organs.
Doomsday is now genetically part-Kryptonian due to his genes having been spliced with Kal-El's; however, with the exception of his flame-breath, he has displayed no additional abilities. In fact, he was shown weaker than previously when he was singlehandedly beaten by Superman. This was rationalized as due to intelligence that he developed, causing him to fear the death that awaited him if he lost, but does not explain how a simple minor concussion could incapacitate his healing factor for the time he remained unconscious. However, he apparently lost his intelligence when sent back in time, reverting him to his original state of fearlessness.
Once he gained some of Superman's Kryptonian DNA, he became susceptible to Kryptonite. Unlike Superman, it causes him pain, but cannot kill him. This was done to render him controllable.
During his confrontation with Steel, Doomsday spontaneously developed the power of flight, and the ability to cover his body with metallic armor, capable of resisting even Steel's paralysing nanites. In a later confrontation with the Outsiders as he sought to confront the Eradicator, he demonstrated the ability to absorb energy from Looker and Halo's attacks and send it back to them in a massive burst. During his battle with the Cyborg-Superman, the Cyborg tears through portions of Doomsday's body, which are quickly replaced with cyborg parts of his own. However, it has since been revealed that these Doomsdays were actually clones of the original, each specifically designed to take out Steel, Henshaw and Superboy, putting them at a disadvantage when pitted against the other Supermen.

Fight #3: Captain Cold vs. Firefly
Arena: An island on the equator

Like the majority of The Flash's Rogues, Snart has no real super power. He instead relies on his cold guns and instincts. Over the years Snart has modified his weapons to allow a variety of effects such as:
A cold beam that freezes anything it hits instantly.
Creating a cold field where people and objects literally stop in their tracks. Cold uses this ability to slow down The Flash's movements.
Bathing his opponent in a wide beam of ice designed to freeze the skin of the target so they stay conscious and do not go numb to the pain. Cold used this to kill Chill Blaine who murdered Cold's sister to make him suffer as much as possible.
Creating a slippery field of ice which can slow down the Flash.
Forming sharp stalagmites on the ground to impale his enemies. Used to kill Chill Blaine after freezing the outer layer of his skin so he could inflict as much pain as possible.
An "Ice Grenade" which was stated to "turn this place into an iceberg". Used to freeze everything in a large radius, used to freeze the whole of Iron heights during the events of Blackest Night.
Creating "Mirages" out of Extreme cold like intense heat can cause mirages.

In his Post-Crisis appearances, Firefly is an expert in pyrotechnics and explosives. He has thorough knowledge of inflammable agents. His suit contains a flamethrower, grenade launchers, and an extensive arsenal of fire-creating weapons. The fixed wings mounted on his back allow him to glide on the updrafts of the fires he creates.

So, who would win? Captain Cold, or Firefly? Vote in the comments!
