Scene 5
Mr. Beck, You Have a Visitor
(Mercy Hospital)
(Cut to a nurse leading Norman Osborn through a hallway to Quentin Beck’s room)
Nurse- Mr. Beck, you have a visitor. (exit nurse)
Norman- Hello Quentin, good to see you. How are you?
QB- Just peachy, Never been better.
Norman- Well Quentin, here’s the thing. I feel like I owe you more than money to pay back for all you did to help out Harry. I have been studying your injuries and discovered that your scars are something else. Your cuts were exposed to chemicals making them extremely sensitive. I have a couple of things for you. (Norman gets up for the door and turns around before leaving.) Oh, I almost forgot, here’s a “get well soon” card from Harry. (exit Norman)
(Quentin reaches for the card and opens it. It reads, “come to my apartment at 9:30 pm tonight.”)

(cut to peter in front of his mirror in his room. He is sweating and breathing heavily. His vision is dizzy, he is pale. He falls to the ground, reaching for his glasses, but is too weak to. He falls asleep.)
(when he wakes up, he immediately reaches for his glasses. He puts them on but can’t see. He takes them off and can see. He switches between the two and decides to not wear them. He is half way between putting on his shirt when he notices his enlarged muscles. Puzzled, he ignores it and goes downstairs.)
Uncle Ben- I’m getting too old for this May. My arthritis is getting harsher each day.
Aunt May- Well, you can get Peter to help paint the kitchen.
(Peter enters in a hurry to get out the door.)
Aunt May- uh Peter! Do you want some breakfast?
Peter- Sorry, can’t, I’m late for school.
Uncle Ben- boy, you’re looking a lot better. Hey when you get home from school today we’re repainting the kitchen so don’t be late.
Peter- Yeah yeah okay. Bye! (exit peter)
Uncle Ben- I swear, that boy is always late for everything. It’ll be a cold day in hell the day he wakes up on time.
