One week away indeed. The anticipation is growing larger for The First Avenger growing in the CBM fanboy world. I was flipping through some of my older games and It inspired me to write this article. So below are my top five best WW2 video games.
5. Call of Duty
When this came out, It took me forever to complete the campaign. This is the first to plant the flag in the COD franchise and it was one of the first strategic, and better war games to come out early last decade.
4. COD: World at war
Boasting brilliant visuals and epic multiplayer, but with a confusing and lackluster Campagin, World at War was all around pretty fun. It showed a few historical clips, but by the end of the day it showed great patriotism by making Nazis into zombies so we could kill them over and over and over again :)
3. Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30
Graphic, bloody, dark, action packed, and greatly memorable, Brothers In Arms was a fantastic game when it came out. When I first got it, I took its 'M' rating a bit light. This is just as graphic as World at War. This had an Earth Shattering Campaign that stays with you long after you've finished it.
2. COD: Big Red One
This is the best triumph for Call of Duty in my opinion. I play this old game from time to time and it never gets old. My great uncle fought for the Big Red One, so it makes me love this game even more. With upgraded visuals from its predecessor, and a better campagin, COD: The Big Red One is an excellent WW2 game.
1. Medal of Honor: Frontline
A bit dated now, but I would kill to get a clean copy of this and play it again. I remember when this came out almost ten years ago. Huge in sales, receiving a platinum hits recognition for Xbox. Showing dozens of historical clips and including 10+ glorious missions, this is by far the greatest game based off of WW2. The tone, the feel, and the way it made you addicted is why its at number one.
well there ya have it.
Hope Captain America:TFA does well!
