Wes Anderson, the man behind The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, was once rumored to helm Spider-Man. Here's a fan made video depicting how his vision would have influenced the beloved character:





It's definitely a different direction than we've seen before. In my opinion, better than Spider-Man 3 turned out.

I got The Ultimates vol 1 and 2 Hardback editions for $15 on e-bay a while back.

i got Grant Morrison's New X-men Vol. 2-6 for less than $50.
the other two i bought at a used book store.
not the best condition, but definitley not the worst!

and i found Iron Man: Haunted on Amazon for 9!
eBay has it down for 12 at it's cheapest.

i also found two Black Widow volumes for less than 17.
