Ok so I was watching The Dark Knight this morning and it was the opening scene (the bank robbery scene). And toward the end The Bank Manager (William Fichtner) gets shot and is laying on the floor from a gun shot wound. My first time watching the movie I wondered why would an Award Winning Actor play such a small role in a epic movie? Maybe he comes back into the story sometime later or something. That's what I originally thought while watching the movie, when he didn't appear back I completely forgot about him.
And after watching it again this morning listening to his dialog: Think your smart huh? The guy that hired you's, will just do the same to you. Criminals in this town use to believe in things; honer, respect. Look at you, what do you believe in huh?
The way he sound made me think, did he have a criminal past? A few other things made me think that to.
1. The way he spoke of criminals past.
2. The Bank Manger of a MOB Bank.
3. The shotgun he pulled from under his desk
Now I could have just be over thinking this. But maybe not. And also I'm not sure if someone spoke of this a long time ago, I'm not sure but I'm sure you guys will tell me.
Next thing. Jokers dialog: I believe, whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you...stranger.
Then the gas. I'm a fan of Batman but not really a huge fan. I know lately a lot of you have been talking about The Black Mask.
If that gas didn't kill the Bank Manager at the beginning, which I don't think it did, maybe this could be cause of brining in William as the Black Mask. Maybe that gas is the reason for the Black Mask lengo.
You guys let me know if I'm over thinking this, or if this topic have been brought up before maybe lets open it up for re discussion.
And remember
Why? Because your Awesome!!
