So the X-Men Movies India page on Facebook had started a competition quite a while ago wherein we X-fans send our entries of our own poster creations for the movie. Still awaiting the results for the contest, so dunno yet if I've won.

I've already won for my FB profile pic I made (which is the same profile pic here too...) Hadn't created that dp for the contest itself but after posting it on that same group with the XFC badge they created, I won that contest!

not bad, i would have used a less familiar or different picture of magneto, it clashes as its from the film so lit appropriatley, also some gradiants and texture to the stills would have helped!

get topaz labs you will love it, very quick way to add a solid hdr feel to photos!

@Gelfling Thx for the tips! Ya I was looking for different pics but this 1 was the only 1 I got the time which shows him using his powers...I did try to do a little color correction on it & it is significantly less bright than the OG. Also I did try to do something different with the bg pics but then felt this looked best. Didnt try gradients or textures though- was more playing with the colors & stuff...

no problem i really like your idea! have a look into grading, and adding a texture layer then play with the blending modes... have a look at some of my work http://www.samsissen.com, definately get topaz labs though its wicked and i use it all of the time, mainly for clarity and detail sharpening... :)

wow! nice work there! do you do all your backgrounds with digital painting or are they matte paintings...?

Currently I'm working on 2 Avengers posters! Can't wait to get em out here- one is almost done... :D
