David Tennant On Potential CBM Roles; Name Drops FANTASTIC FOUR's Reed Richards

In an interview with Collider about his new miniseries Spies Of Warsaw, the former Dr. Who is asked whether he might be interested in playing a superhero. Tennant reckon he might be getting a bit old for a lot of them, but might just fancy playing Mr Fantastic..

David Tennant really doesn't need any more geek-cred after playing (arguably?) the most popular incarnation of The Doctor from the insanely popular BBC series Dr. Who we've had so far, but while chatting to Collider about his upcoming projects he's asked about a potential role in a comic book movie. It seems the Scottish actor is a fan of the villains, but he also mentions a certain Mr Fantastic, Reed Richards.

"I don’t know which ones I would suit, really. I can’t imagine who I could play. I’m a bit old for a lot of them now, which is a terrible, alarming truth. Who could I be? I could probably still do Reed Richards – Mr. Fantastic. I don’t know. Villains are always great. I’d be very happy to do a bit of that. They’re the one growth industry in movies, at the moment, so it would be nice to do one, I suppose, as either the good guy or the bad guy. The bad guys probably get the better lines, don’t they? And they wear less spandex. That would be quite good."

Is it possible Tennant knows that Fox's Fantastic Four reboot is casting at the moment? Or maybe he's just a big fan of the character. Either way, do you guys think he'd make a good Reed Richards? Which villains do you think he might suit? Sound off in the usual place, and check out the interview in full by clicking the link below.
